GREAT. VERY INFORMATIVE!

To put it quite simply, Ackerman is the best in the Atlantic area. They are punctual, affordable, and they do exactly what they say they will do.

We used to love Ackerman Security, we have used them for almost ten years now. In the past, service was good but in the past two years the service has not been great. We are unhappy and have a contract, when our contract expires we will go with another company.

They are very professional. Always give good advice. Offer advice that will save costs or eliminate wasted spending. Some of the technicians are not as expert as others. Greg is the best technician, by far.

They always call you to see how things are going which makes me happy. They did a good job on the wiring and they answered all of our questions. They were on time and very friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

Ackerman provides me with good services. I shopped around to compare their rates too with those of other companies. The only thing I would like to see them change is their credit program. They owe us some money back and its been rather difficult to get. Other than that, I am generally pleased.

Ackerman's is a good service at a very low monthly cost to me. They post signs outside of my home to help deter burglars and they are just a very good service in general. Thanks to them I have had no break ins or home disturbances and I am completely pleased with them on all levels.

I am pleased with Ackerman in general. I have no complaints to speak of. I pay fairly low rates for good services that protects my home and my personal items. I can not think of a time that I experienced a problem with this company.

The entire system was previously installed. However, I did want them to hook up a radio signal which they did, but it didn t work. I was kind of disappointed that that the radio signal did not work. They tried several times, but it would not work because my house is in a dead zone. They did give me a refund for my money and were very good about coming out so many times to try and get the signal to work.

They never showed up. He says he will call and does not.

It was a very detailed job. The service technician was extremely great and helpful. It was raining outside, and the technician wore shoe covers so as to not dirty our house as he was installing the alarm system. The technician vacuumed and cleaned after he finished installing the alarm system.

The salesman was the most knowledgeable of the 4 companies that I interviewed. He brought up good ideas that we hadn't thought of and was in no hurry. The installation was flawless, neatly done, and throughly cleaned up afterward.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND VERY DIS-PLEASED! The day after I signed the contract, I received a call from the salesman stating he messed up on the $18.95 monthly quoted price and he would be changing the contract to reflect the corrected price of $23.95. Is that legal? Our system was then installed and of course more money...the gentleman installing the system stated we would need wireless sensors for 3 of the sensors our salesman stated could be wired. So another $69.95 x 3. And trying to get someone to return your phone call is impossible unless of course you want to speak with a salesman. They may advertise a low price, but don't be fooled they WILL find ways to get their money back. I have also been told by neighbors they have waited on hold for what seemed like forever. Look elsewhere for alarm service, I am sorry I didn't.

Okay. I thought the price was high considering most of the problem was from previous mis-programming.

On time, reasonably priced. Were able to adapt existing alarm system on initial install. When call the 798-8655 monitoring number, in case of emergency, false alarm, etc, you are always put on hold. One time, I was disconnected 3x after being put on hold. Not a good response if this is an emergency. Due to an "accounting error" our Service was disconnected without our knowledge for 3 months!!!! I am extremely dissatisfied with this service. They offered to refund the 3 months service fee but offered NO solution/resolution or confidence in how this will not happen in the future.

Sales rep and installation tech both very pleasant and knowledgeable. I have had alarm trigger on accident a few times and they were very responsive.

I have not been impressed with Ackerman. I think their prices are high and I would recommend someone to look around before choosing. It seems like no one cares about our account. After we signed on, we haven't heard a word from them.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. I THINK THE COMPANY ITSELF IS AS GOOD AS ANY OF THE OTHER ALARM COMPANIES. THEY CAME ON TIME EVERY TIME. SO FAR IT IS GOOD. WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY BREAK-INS.

WE ARE HAVING A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. WE HAVE NOTIFIED THEM WE WISH TO CANCEL OUR ACCOUNT 6 TIMES OVER THE PHONE, BY MAIL, AND BY FAX - AND FOUR MONTHS LATER STILL RECEIVE BILLS DESPITE REPS AT ACKERMAN ASSURING US OUR ACCT IS CANCELLED. THEY ARE EITHER IGNORING OUR REQUESTS, OR HAVE VERY POOR OFFICE PROCEDURES/SYSTEMS, WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A SECURITY COMPANY.

TOOK THREE TIMES TO GET A RETURN CALL, WENT FINE FROM THERE. SALES PERSON WAS PROMPT,KNOWLEDGEABLE, NO PRESSURE. INSTALLER WAS PROMPT, COURTEOUS, AND EXPLAINED THE KEY PAD PROCEDURES. COST WAS $399 FOR SYSTEM INSTALLED, THEN $18 PER MONTH, ONE YEAR COMMITTMENT.

KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE DOING. FIXED SOMEONE ELSE'S MISTAKE. FIXED A PROBLEM THAT WAS NOT REALLY ANTICIPATED. CREATIVE SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM.

VERY TIMELY TO RESPOND TO ALL ALARMS.
