Swift Painters

Paul was quick to respond to my request for an estimate and the crew arrived about 10 minutes early the day of the job. They worked very efficiently and did a very nice job. Paul went over the finished areas to make sure all was done properly and I am now enjoying a freshly painted garage-the 1st painting of it in 14 years. They also painted a built in cabinet and painted all of the trim. The interior applications look very nice as well. The painters are very nice and Paul is wonderful. I would use them again.

Tom and the team were awesome. The pressure washing was scheduled in advance and once the rain eased up they were there bright and early. The quality of the work done was excellent and the price was fair. We will use them again for our painting needs.

This is the first time I have left a negative review for a business. I have no idea how Swift Painters has so many good reviews, which is why we chose them. I can only guess the promise of a Starbucks gift card is what has enticed others. I should have paid more attention to the Yelp review I saw that was written by someone with a similar experience to us. While our initial impression was good, the end result was quite poor. First, I was very clear when we asked for a quote that I wanted all of the closets in each room painted as well. One look at our home and no one could possibly question that we aren't people that skimp and skip something like a closet. Somewhere down the line, I was told the closets weren't included in the quote and would have to pay extra. Then, when I mentioned off-hand that the walls should be matte, not shiny, I was told that matte was also an upcharge. I guess it was silly of me to assume that any initial quote given for interior paint work would not be for SHINY walls. I don't know anyone that wants shiny walls in their home. Again, we got over that and paid extra for our walls not to be shiny. The crew that did the painting did a poor job of covering our valuables and they used painters tape on our trim. Well clearly the painters tape did not do the trick for them, as we have ridiculously crooked lines all over our home. My husband and I got so tired of pointing out all the issues with the quality of work that he began to help here and there with touch-ups. I could go on and on about the poor trim work, the original color poking through all over our walls, and drip marks all over our home and its contents, but I'll let the photos do the majority of the talking. Unfortunately Angie's List reviews only allow for a limited number of photo uploads, but I have many, many more photos of areas that are almost comical. It wouldn't be so bad if there were only a few areas here and there, but the poor trim work and drips are ALL OVER the place. I reached my breaking point when I saw that my custom painting of my two dogs had been damaged by someone dripping paint onto it and then wiping it away. I had purposely set it out of the way to avoid being damaged, but the crew still managed to drip paint on it. When I contacted the owner afterwards, his original response was promising. But when I stated that I did not want the original crew in my home to repair the shoddy work, he actually stated that "industry standard paint work is when a wall looks covered from 6 ft away" (and yes, my husband employed a flashlight to find many, many areas of the previous paint color that had not been covered with the new paint color. You can see one of many examples in the photos. We have had other paint crews and each of them used portable lighting to see their work space better and have had no problems previously) and also accused my husband of having dripped the paint all over our home. Needless to say, we will never use this company again. Next time, we will wait until our previous company has time available on their schedule. They did a fantastic job and we had absolutely no complaints when they finished.

The house looks brand new. The shutters were color changed at painters suggestion. It was a great change. The work was completed reasonable time. The workers were extremely neat. Tom the owner takes a great deal of pride in his product and wants to insure you are just as happy with the outcome. We interviewed five companies and chose swift paint and believe the choice was a wise choice Highly recommend and will insure my new home is maintained with top quality painters....swift paint

Excellent. In our pre-work walk thru they gave me great advice on what paint to buy, and why. This is a family owned business and they are fantastic to work with. They are punctual, do great work, follow up to make sure you are pleased, and respond immediately. I trust them in and with my home! I feel certain I get a fair price for the work as well. This is the 3rd time we have used Swift! 1st time was a large interior job. We were impressed by the crew's attention to detail and accommodating our every request. We were so happy with Tom & Regina's (owners) frequent inspections, updates and hands on approach that we contracted with them again to do a 2nd large interior job changing wall colors. This current 3rd exterior paint job was both challenging and technical. Our original exterior contractor grade paint was old and badly faded. Independent of Swift, we began prepping the house late last Fall and started finding a lot of rotting pine trim and facia boards. We changed them out for cement boards but all the repairs put us into cold winter days. Tom (Swift) would not take our money for anything given the poor weather painting conditions and advised us to time the new paint job for early spring - just before the crazy pollen season! The original paint was so faded and "chalky", Tom used a series of products to condition and lock on the damaged existing paint so that the new paint would not flake or peel down the road because someone cut corners. All this adds cost but leaving your paint too long has increased cost consequences (so don't procrastinate like we did!). Any painter can give you a good looking fresh coat of paint. Tom's technical know-how and ensuring the right things are done to maximize the life expectancy of our paint job solidify why Swift Painters get our business. Job Scope: condition, prime, paint exterior siding, trim, shutters and change color of gutters. Job complete and very well done.

The crew managed by Paul Carroll was FANTASTIC!! They did top notch work, were clean throughout the entire process, cleaned up and it looked like they were never here at days end. The paint job was fantastic as well. They took the time to make sure it was done properly and did a fantastic job. Well worth the money to have them do it versus doing it yourself. I have not had my house looking this good since the day we moved in. The crew was here when they said they would be, very responsive to questions or issues, came back during the walk-through to touch up as needed and were very nice and very polite guys. If you ever need your house painted, I highly recommend Swift Painters. Ask for Paul and his crew and he will take good care of you. Paul personally called me each and every night making sure I was happy with the progress and how it looked at that point.

Tom came out to give us a quote and worked to stay within our budget. The crew was courteous and professional and they worked quickly. We had great communication and my husband and I were extremely pleased with their work. We'll definitely hire Swift Painters again and have already recommended them to other family and friends.

We moved into our 3500 sq. ft. house 3 months ago. There was a lot of damage to our walls, ceilings and trim (numerous nail, screw and pin holes, painted over tape lines, uneven ceiling due to a hanging attachment, drywall tape that had become detached, trim that was separating from the ceiling). We finally decided we couldn't look at it another day. We called the professionals at Swift Painters in Newnan, GA (owned and operated by Tom and Regina Fletcher). They scheduled a visit to our house the following day, gave us a quote that night, and started work a little over a week later. We wanted to get specific colors from Olympic Paints, but they use Sherwin-Williams paints. They were able to get an exact match on a high-grade paint in each of the 4 colors that we had picked. We have a 5 year old daughter that had picked her own pink shades out for both her bedroom and playroom. When she saw the finished product, she literally stated "This is SPECTACULAR!". She was thrilled and so were we. Our master bedroom has a sitting room. We wanted to liven up the space, and chose a very red color for an accent wall. I am so pleased with the results. The guys did a great job repairing all of the holes, hanging tape, uneven ceilings, tape lines and trim. If you walked into our house without ever having seen it previously, you'd never know that we had all of these issues. They vanished! (Just like we had hoped they would). These guys did a fantastic job. Very professional. Always asked me to come take a look at the job they had just completed. I was very impressed. The site manager (Paul Carroll) and Regina stopped by frequently to check on the quality of the work being done. Paul was able to see small areas that needed touch ups that I couldn't see. The guys were quick to fix any of the minor defects right away. They just finished the job earlier today. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of both the paint (Sherwin-Williams Duration Home Interior Acrylic Latex paint - which comes with a lifetime warranty and claims to be have "Excellent Durability and Washability -for the walls; Sherwin-Williams Eminence High Performance Acrylic Latex Ceiling Paint), as well as the overall work that was done. I would highly recommend Swift Painters for interior painting and repairs.

Swift Painters did an excellent job! They painted my whole main floor in less than a day! They were very professional and reliable. Did everything they said they would. Very impressed.

Tom & Regina (owners) personally involved from signing contract to sign off. Regina has a critical eye and found touch ups we even missed. Paul the supervisor checked on the crew frequently. Crew punctual, professional and hard working. They were also eager to please and respectful of precautions we wanted taken with our furniture, floors and house. At no additional charge, Swift even performed a number of repairs and touch ups on the paint work they did prior to this job that was damaged by other trades working in the house!
