Marcus beat two other contractors in the area. He had the highest quality product and best price. The installation was conducted safely and the cleanup was thorough. He replaced damaged sections of decking and installed a "cricket" to improve drainage where the damage to the old roof had occurred. He also installed a Solatube skylight. It has been over a year since the installation, it has been one of the rainiest on record, and there have been no issues whatsoever. I would use M&C Roofing again, but not for this house because I'm pretty sure this roof will outlive me.

The M & C team were very professional from start to finish. Marcus , gave a very complete inspection and explained the entire estimate in detail.No hidden surprises, David completed the final few repairs to the trim and gutters and was very professional and detailed in his work. The entire job was completed in the time frame promissed . I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

The man who came out gave me three different options and the prices he gave me were high.

Non responsive to getting proposal to me promised it for 3 days never got it, thus I would be tentative doing business with someone that cant even deliver proposal on time.

My experience with them was good. They gave me a quote really quickly which I wanted because I was getting three different quotes. I just didn't use them because they were in the ballpark of everybody else as far as quotes go, but then we went to our insurance company and they said "we recommend that you use these people because we deal with them on a regular basis" and that's what we did. They were very professional. They came out and did what they said they were going to do. I would consider using them in the future.

They showed up on time and completed work promptly. They explained in detail exactly what they were going to do. What they quoted was what I paid. They were very professional.

Before that they'd done other roofing jobs for us. They are very fast and were able to work with our special situation. Their prices are very reasonable. They're very straightforward, timely on their estimates, they work with the insurance company directly, and keep you in the loop as far as the communication goes if anything comes up.

Marcus is fantastic. I had a very complex water problem, involving both plumbing and leaking rain from outside. Marcus did an incredibly thorough initial inspection, including photos of issues on my roof and inspection of bricks around my chimney. Then he and a helper came back and performed a thorough water test. Marcus is a second generation roofing specialist and has impressive knowledge of his trade. He first identified and isolated the plumbing issue (which is now repaired by others). Marcus cut inspection holes in my already damaged ceiling, to make sure my plumbing problem was solved. Then he identified leaks from blowing rain, which were evident from the water test. Also, his inspection disclosed potential future problems, which he is in process of remedying. He went over photos with me and expertly explained what was involved with each issue. He was also punctual, neat and polite. His helper and even the office person who confirmed appointments and arrival times were also courteous, first rate professionals. M&C was the third roofer I called. The first roofer worked on my roof twice, without solving the problem, which eventually caused a serious leak in my bedroom ceiling. The second roofer was baffled and could not diagnose the problem on inspection. When I first met Marcus, I detected a quantum leap in expertise, which was proved over and over again. I will unhesitatingly recommend M&C to my friends and neighbors.

I initially contacted M&C Roofing for their Angies List Big deal for roof repair, maintenance for $749 (included in above total price). They did a good job, came out quickly, and Marcus Clay did a great job explaining to me what they saw up on the roof, including pictures, and a detailed review of the state of the roof. After that experience I decided to get Marcus to quote me on some further repairs to the roof - replacing some pipe boots and repairing some issues around the chimney and soffets. I also had them quote me on replacing my gutters (to thin) with larger ones - we had lots of problems with gutters that were too small and not in good shape. I was very comfortable with the price of the gutter replacement ($1762 - two story 3000 sq. foot house). They did an excellent job on the gutters and roof repair. We have had no water issues or leaks since. Marcus does a good job of thoroughly explaining the issues, the options, and the price differences. They come out quickly, stay late to get the job done and do not leave any mess. Would use them again and recommend them to others.

Very professional, well done job. I live out of state, and it was hard to find and pick a roofer to trust. Marcus was just the man. He took photos of the roof that needed repair and sent them to me. He also sent someone out to tarp the roof so rain wouldn't come into the house, well before the job was to be started. It did take several days for him to return some calls, but I bet he is a busy man. I would recommend him!

I had requested a quote for new gutters, about 110'. Once he got on the roof and did an inspection, he pointed out additional items needing addressing. The chimney flashing needed repairs, also he suggested new boots to all the vents, and all gutter seams needed new caulking. Not knowing that much about roofing, I went along with his suggestions. I really don't know if these additonal items needed addressing or not, but knowing that a good roof is key to a house's condition, I feel good about it. I interviewed one other company, they did not get on the roof to do any other roof inspections.

Salesman came and gave estimate. When workers arrived, they did not announce their arrival, which I did not like, as it startled me to hear noise in rear of my house. I did not say anything to the workers about notification before starting work or arriving. They should have called to say they were on their way or at least ring doorbell when they arrived.

They came on time and cleaned up after themselves. Actually thought that our yard man had come. After completion they went around with a magnetic and made sure there were no nails left any where.

Everything went well and I am very pleased.

Marcus gave us the best bid of all our estimates. He was on time, on budget, did a very professional job, good clean up after the job was done, and came back repeatedly for small details which we needed him to finish after ext painting was done, flashing, etc. We had frequent rain delays, but his crew worked uncomplainingly in poor conditions, and they did a super job. We would recommend MC Roofing to anyone who has a construction project. Great guys. Very customer oriented with excellent service and price.

Marcus was very professional. He took pictures of problem areas. Provided very detailed estimate. Very prompt with appointments and quick with estimate. Job foreman was great. He basically supervised the crew of 4 and ensured that everything went well. Workers did a great job. Tore off old shingles and installed new shingles in one day! Separate crew hung gutters. When job was done, area was spotless. Could not tell any construction had taken place. Highly recommend. Not the cheapest, but definitely worth the money.

Marcus was very responsive and came to give an estimate I believe the same day I called. He noticed some things that other companies didn't notice. His quote was very detailed, so there were no surprises. The coupon on Angies list saved us some money. They came as scheduled, went over job with supervisor, pointed out some landscaping areas to try to be careful around. They cleaned up each night, there was a trailer that they took at night so I didn't have a dumpster in my driveway. There was some damage to some plants, but minimal. A tarp placed over some boxwoods burned the top of the bushes because it got so hot, but they seem to be coming back now. They moved a compost bin that was near the garage and didn't move it back, I called and asked if they would, but I finally moved it back this weekend which was a pain. Overall the roof looks really nice. I called to ask if they could give some suggestions for the trim around the metal roof in the back which doesn't look that good and they never called me back.

They called and came out promptly to give estimate. The man was very neat and professional. Then once we let them know we wanted the work done, the came and had the repair done in one day. I highly recommend them. I felt very comfortable with them. They did an excellent job. Thank you, Joyce

Extremely thorough and professional. Excellent customer service. Came out to do a gutter clean and roof maintenance. Marcus took pictures of the sections that had rotten plywood and damage near the fireplace and then showed them to us. Explained us the repairs that needed to be made and gave us a fair estimate which we decided to go with. Came when promised, did their job, and cleaned up the debris. A totally excellent experience. Will use them for a new roof in 3-5 years. Thank you Marcus and crew!

Everything went well. They did an excellent job each day cleaning up and they used a small dump truck to carry the trash in at the end. There was no dumpster on my driveway. M & C have been in the roofing business along time. They have all the certifications that the big boys have, Dr. Roof and Findlay. I chose them because I liked how the owner of the company came out and explained to me in great detail what they were going to do.
