I am very pleased.

I requested a quote from this company for roofing a house I was intending to purchase. I explained to the representative when scheduling the estimate that I needed the report back by a certain date and they assured me i would have it way before then. the roofer who came to give me the estimate was over an hour late (which would not be a problem if it were my home but was a problem since it was a home I was in the process of negotiating to purchase which required that my realtor also wait around for them with me. They did not call to let me know they would be late. and when I called them they just used the excuse of "traffic". the roofer was polite and professional however they did not get me the estimate by the specified date and infact didn't give it to me until 4 days later which forced me to request an extension on my due dilligence period. every time i called to ask about my estimate they gave me the run around. I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

They came to see me with an estimate. It appeared like they wanted to please me but I have not made a decision yet. I am considering using them.

M&C did a great job! They responded quickly to our request for an estimate and scheduled the actual job within a few days. They used high quality materials and improved the placement of downspouts. They corrected as best as possible for poor construction in the house and original gutter job. This made the job much more time-consuming than expected, but there was no increase from the quoted estimate. We would highly recommend their services.

Marcus came out when scheduled to inspect the roof. He provided a detailed and complete estimate that included problem areas over looked by the other bidders. The estimate was not the lowest but it was competitive and the most complete. Marcus came on site an additional time to review the shingle products and job plan with us. The team started late due to weather delays but worked hard and longer hours to finish the work a day early so we did not have to change our move schedule. The supervisor kept us informed of the work progress and estimated finish time. The work was completed with minimal impact to the yard, fence, or rest of the house. The roof looks great. There was a lot of hail damage in the neighborhood and many of the roofs have been replaced, ours looks the best.

Called the roofing company after noticing leak inside house after a particularly heavy rain. The roofing company estimator came out to our house within a few days and provided a detailed analysis of the damage including digital pictures. Some of the damage was hail related, and some was warping plywood under the old shingles. The roofing company estimator offered to meet with the insurance adjuster, which occurred about a week later. They wandered all over the roof during their meeting, and when they came down the insurance adjuster said he was recommending the claim and he discussed his findings with me verbally, indicating what was covered and what was not (no surprises there) following up with a letter soon after. After receiving the letter from the insurance company, and a check, I called the roofing company and they came out and discussed various roofing options and grades of shingles, etc. He clearly explained these options, which were also clearly explained in the contract, we made our decisions and signed the contract. Our scheduled work date was about two weeks later, with the understanding that the date was subject to weather, and could be either earlier or later. Weather did delay us for a few days. The crew was professional, protected all the plants, etc, did all the work and cleaned up afterward. We approved an improvement to the flashing around the chimney which is now required by code, but was not required when the house was built. The initial report from the insurance company adjustor did not include this upgrade (we had a replacement policy). The roofing company worked directly with our insurance company, and the insurance company did increase their payment to include the upgrade. We are very satisfied with M&C Roofing.

My roof had experienced wind damage and I asked my insurance company to look it over to see if I had coverable losses. After their inspection I received a check to turn over to my mortgage company while I had the work done. I got three quotes from local contractors. Marcus at M&C Roofing won my trust from our first meeting. I had detailed descriptions of the work that my insurance company gave me. Marcus politely declined looking them over because he wanted to take his own measurements and make his own inspection. He spent 1 -2 hours and as a result, he found a defect that the insurance adjuster missed. He also declined looking at the money I received from insurance because he wanted to win the job, not look to quote the job to the check. A few days after our first meeting I received in the mail a package from M&C Roofing that included suggestions on how to choose a contractor and included a DVD that was professionally made by GAF Corporation showing the proper ways to install a well-made roofing system. The DVD was entertaining, informative and could easily have been shown as an instructive video on HGTV or DIY TV, it was that good. When Marcus delivered the quote he had prepared a presentation for me that included pictures of problems that he saw when he made his inspection and what he planned to do about them. His quote gave three options, Good, Better and Best. Because of the age of my roof I was pleased that my insurance check allowed me to upgrade to the reasonably priced Better 30-year Architectural shingles. In addition, I was very happy with the proposal to replace all of my old steel gutters with rust-proof aluminum with gutter caps. His professionalism was 1,000% better than the way the other two quotes were presented. The job was scheduled for the Friday before Christmas '09, and when it rained Friday the crew started on Saturday instead and finished Sunday. I don't remember seeing those guys take a break - they just kept working. The gutters and caps were finished two days later. M&C Roofing had a supervisor on the job for the entire time. I found Robert to be very thorough, detail-oriented, and a stickler for keeping the job site clean. Overall, I am delighted with the whole experience. I'm glad I went with a local contractor who seemed to want to prove his integrity as well as quality workmanship.
