Description of Work: First they did an inspection of heat pump. But they had to come back to clean the coil. There was a separate charge for that. Overall, I was pleased with the service.

Description of Work: Approx. cost of service was for A/C tune-up on/about June 16 AND septic tank pump-out June 25th. Graded them a 'C' on Professionalism for 3 reasons: #1 The answer to why our a/c continued to run (for 2-3 hours at a time) when thermostat is set on 76 & thermometer reads 76 was, "it's been really hot outside." What? Color me stupid but it seems that once the unit gets to the set temp, it should cut off. We still don't know or understand. #2 The office gal got argumentative with us after letting her know she'd quoted one price over the phone & we were charged another price after the service was performed. Granted I may have had a "senior moment" but I distinctly recall repeating the amounts, twice, to insure I'd heard her correctly & thinking "we should've been using them all these years & saved some money." (She quoted $249 on the phone with an extra $50 charge if the tank were larger than 1,000 gallons.) Actual cost was $289, which is STILL less than we paid with another company! She insisted that wasn't what she said & corrected me on BOTH dollar amounts. This obviously didn't set well with me, so I advised her "it wasn't in good taste to argue with a customer." Her tone & "Trump" apology ("I apologize that you misunderstood") was, in my opinion, not very professional & in poor form. Incidentally, they'd ALREADY been paid the full $289 the day before. We wouldn't have even contacted them again but the driver had left his chocks so we made a "courtesy call" to advise them of this. Thought it an opportune time to let her know of the phone vs actual cost incident. Instead of an "explanation" or an attempt to "smooth some feathers" we were greeted with a snide tone of, "that ISN'T what I'd said." #3 Were told we'd receive a quote to replace & install two toilets with, for lack of a better description, "handicap" ones that utilize less water. We never received it. Ended up buying new tank "innards" & installed them ourselves. So, all in all, we saved a LOT of money! Guess we owe them a thank you...?

Description of Work: This is a combination of two service calls . . . really glad that the same technician was sent out, so that it really saved on orientation. The first time my HVAC was not cooling upstairs and we really didn't figure out the problem because with a little adjustment it started to cool. However the system upstairs failed less than 45 days later and then we figured out it was the capacitor for that unit that had failed. The technician was very quick and listened so the problem was quickly resolved bringing the upstairs temperature down out of the 90s up there so that people can sleep again. Definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: The service technician performed an annual maintenance air conditioning check including testing, cleaning the outside unit, filter change, and re-taping an area on my furnace that had become loose. Their service was exactly as expected and the fee includes a fall furnace maintenance check. I did not give all A's only because the appointment was between 1-5pm and at 4:15pm I had to call them for a status update to find they were running behind but they did come at 6pm as the technician updated me after I called their office and I was not brushed off and the technician appeared to perform the requirements until completed.
