Description of Work: Removed a huge pine tree from my backyard. They used a crane parked in my front yard to slowly cut up and remove the tree. Then they ground the stump down. It was done quickly and they cleaned up afterwards.

Description of Work: Originally promised me one quote for a retaining wall then later came out and changed the quote. Blamed the issue on the individual that came out from his company that gave the original quote. Hard to get a hold of on the phone. End result I ended up with an $8,000 bill for dirt where originally I wanted a retaining wall. Guy has a good heart but we did not get what we were originally quoted.

Description of Work: Had them take down a 40' oak right next to my house and trim several branches off another oak that were reaching over the house. Their bid was competitive with the other two tree services I checked with. The work was done when they scheduled it and to my satisfaction.

Description of Work: Chris and his crew came on site and removed storm damaged limbs, hangers on several trees. They cut down a large oak and ground the stump. gleaned up all trash and left the yard in better shape than they found it. Good Job Chris.

Description of Work: In 2004 we had an iwith great percision when lifting sections off of the house and from the yard. Our yard is fenced with a bce storm the caused one of my trees to break and fall onto my roof. I contacted may insirance carrier (State Farm) and they in turn called Big Dog. Big Dog arrived iinitially to clear the top from my house and cover the damage to prevent any further water infiltration. The next day they arrived with a crane to lift one tree section off of the roof. Another section was in our neighbors yard and require removal also. The final third of the tree (almost 100 feet tall) required cutting and removal. The service was fast, accurate and with a high degree of professionalism. The personnel performed all work accurately and with great precision. Our yard is fenced with a brick fence and all tree removal requires the use of cranes and lifting over the roof. Big Dog was well worth the cost even if the insurance company did the payment.

Description of Work: These guys were great. We had 8 large pine trees and 8 large hardwood trees that needed to come down and all stumps removed. They stuck to their estimated price, were extremely friendly and professional, did all the clean up. The crew worked very well together and my husband and I were very impressed. In order to remove all the trees, they had to bring in a crane for one tree that was in the back yard. They always took extra measures to not cause any damage to the driveway, house and yard. We would definitely hire them again and recommend their work highly.

Description of Work: Gave a reasonable estimate for a small job. We had a 3-story high dead weeping willow tree. Called ahead. Came within the time frame given. Covered lawn with plywood to minimize damage, worked quickly and neatly. Really cleaned the yard and street at the conclusion. Even agreed to trim an old stump which was not in the estimate. Were willing to bill by mail. We would call again.
