Description of Work: I placed a call to inspect a gas furnace in a rental property on a Friday evening that wasn't working properly. The technician showed me several problems including cracked heat exchangers. For safety they disconnected the furnace. The installers returned Monday and had the new furnace installed and running before end of the day. They provided fast and efficient response to my call and completed the installation quickly. They provided a good price but also included a year service agreement for a different apartment

I called 3 different plumbing companies around 7am Saturday morning. After leaving voicemails at the first two, I called Snappy and actually had a human being answer my call. The GM called shortly after and had a technician on the way. When he arrived he found the busted supply line and fixed it along with the other lines in bathroom sinks. He pointed out the issue as being polybutulene lines from the original construction of the house. The technician was professional, courteous, and efficient. On top of things, they graciously accepted an Angie's List coupon. I will not hesitate to use them again. They are a first class organization who knows how to treat a customer. Thank you.
Description of Work: Supply line to one of my bathroom sinks busted sometime Friday night and I woke up to find a puddle of water on my kitchen floor. The ceiling was soaking wet.

The Poly supply lines are a nightmare and you are very lucky that you were at home and caught the issue before the water completely flooded your house. Polybutylene supply lines are notorious for flooding a home very quickly; I hope you have us back to replace the remaining lines or if not possible find time to do yourself with the burst proof supply lines for all your toilets and sinks. Called at 9:30am on a Saturday. Snappy was able to offer a service window between 11am and 1pm. We were called by snappy at 11:05 and advised it it would be after noon before the plumber would make it. then called at noon to say it would be about 30 more mins. The plumber did show at 12:30pm which was fine well within the first window. He looked at the fixture and one in the Kitchen I was given 3 options for service. Selected the best option for me. He accepted My Angies list coupon. Had to get parts due to the age of the plumbing in this 60 year old house. but was able to get the job done in about 2 hours. He was clean and paid attn to details
Description of Work: Replaced broken shower fixture. Our 50+ year old shower/tub fixture finally gave out. I was planning on replacing it for years but it was so old you could tell it would not be a simple change out. The Snappy plumber was able to replace the core of the fixture.

With every one of the complications that arose after the work began, Snappy stuck to their original price, which was refreshing. Every person I interacted with that came on site, from the general manager to the crew that did the work, was professional, easy to communicate with, and genuinely concerned with doing a good job. It was impossible to not notice. The work took a full day longer than estimated/anticipated, but the work was far more complete than we had originally scoped out, and I am left with the peace of mind that the work was done well and I understood the process and logic behind every decision made.
Description of Work: Had main sewer line snaked and viewed (with camera) following a back-up of a basement floor drain, and unfortunately found two trouble spots between house and street - both tree roots. One of them was the ultimate cause of the back-up, but both needed to be dealt with. Follow-on work was scoped and priced to dig up and replace the pipe at those two individual locations. When the crew showed up to do the work Monday morning, it was determined that one of the trouble spots was too close to a large tree for them to dig (and likely was a bad place for the previous line to go anyway), so they purposed running a whole new line around the tree instead of the two isolated spots. Additionally, the line was much deeper in the ground than originally thought. The work took a day longer than estimated largely due to the complications, but the job was done well.

Your sewer line repair was extensive but we felt that the original scope of work was not the best option once we exposed the piping, and did not want to give you an inferior product. We stand by our pricing as that is one of the great advantages of the flat rate pricing method we use, you know what the charge will be upfront and does not change because of billable hours or inflated material costs. You guys were great throughout the entire process and we are very happy to hear that you received great customer service from all of our employees you worked with. SNAPPY DID A GREAT JOB FOR ME. I have a (worthless) home warranty with American Home Shield (AHS). When my AC unit stopped working and required a new evaporator coil and other parts, AHS assigned an inferior company and then AHS refused to cover most of the work. I contacted Snappy and they were able to complete the repairs in a timely manner and for less than I would have paid using AHS.

During the heat wave last weekend we called Snappy to come out and fix our A/C that was not working. The unit was tripping the breaker so we did not know if we should call an electrician or an A/C company so we called Snappy since they did both. They first sent an electrician because he was in the area, Jody arrived and was very professional and after running some test determined that is was the A/C unit that was causing the issue. He called the office and had another person sent out for no additional charge! Jody made some small repairs that he noticed in the panel while he waited for the A/C tech to arrive. When Bradley arrived he found the issue to be the outdoor unit which was very old and needed to be replaced. They both went to their warehouse to pick up the equipment needed and replaced same day, getting my house cooling right as it got dark outside. I was really impressed with the services and communication between the 2 departments to work together and get me fixed on a Saturday afternoon. I purchased a service agreement in order to obtain a Lifetime Warranty on my new system and also received a FREE Plumbing inspection that I have not yet used. I can only hope that the Plumber is as professional as the 2 guys I dealt with during my crisis!

We do not let our technicians perform repairs in trades that they are not trained in, but in these situations they come in handy for help speed up repairs so that we can get to all of our customers taken care of. We do however require ride alongs between trades so that in situations like storms or inclement weather that may cause damage to electrical systems, A/C's breaking down, or freezing weather bursting water pipes that we can put all hands on deck to accommodate all of our service agreement customers as well new customers in a timely fashion. It also helps to promote teamwork and a good working atmosphere which creates happy employees. Everything went well and we are very pleased with the work.
Description of Work: The hooked up three sinks, dishwasher, garbage disposal, installed four recessed lights and added on additional fixture and switch in the kitchen. The also installed an over the range microwave and had to place it on a separate breaker. All work was completed properly and on time. They were a bit late arriving but called to advise of the delay which was not an issue. I will use them again in the future for any electrical, HVAC or plumbing needs.

What a lifesaver Snappy was! I had a plumbing disaster hours before out-of-town guests were arriving and was calling down a list of companies, based on reviews I'd read. Dealing with a plumbing emergency is nerve-wracking and it's never fun to spend a lot of money to fix things, but I feel 100% confident with the excellent service I received for the money I spent. I try to be as well-informed as I can be, but this is my first house and the fact is I'm not very knowledgeable about things like plumbing or electrical, so it is essential for me to feel I'm dealing with a company that is both professionally competent and trustworthy. From the friendly, compassionate woman who answered the phone, to the stellar technician (Jason) who came almost immediately, plus the person who called the next day to follow up and be sure I was happy and even the general manager who returned a call to help me get the info I needed for my homeowner's insurance..... these folks are AMAZING! I'd use them again in a heartbeat!
Description of Work: Water gushing out of shower pipe/wall so I had to turn off all water to house. Snappy plumber arrived quickly and assessed situation. He gave me several different price-point options but ended up replacing entire shower valve assembly, new handles, etc. Also found that my water pressure was set WAY too high from previous homeowners, so he replaced the pressure valve.

He fixed the toilet leak and put a new seal on in about ten minutes. How long will it last this time?
Description of Work: I Called them because there was a leak from the ceiling where some of our plumbing pipes were located. The cause of the leak was a toilet seal that was incorrectly installed. Snappy had installed the seal almost two years to the day. I told the manager and he told me that the work was over a year old, so he would not honor the warranty. A toilet seal is a basic service & it should of lasted beyond 2 years. I wouldn't call them again.

I have pulled the paperwork for review and see that the original invoice states that the sub-flooring had severe rotting issues due to water damage, and this could be the cause of the wax ring failing due to inadequate support. I really liked Snappy's a lot. The man was polite, friendly and did his work quickly and efficiently. I did like the original guy but it seems they have a lot of turnover as when I requested him again, he had left the company. They do have a well run company though with great customer service.
Description of Work: Snappy rewired a complete 20x20 bedroom in my 2500 square foot home as the outlets did not work.

It went very well. This is the second time we have used this company. They call before they come so that you can meet them, they come on time, and both electricians we have had have been very professional and have done a great job. We are so pleased that we joined their Preferred Customer program, which will result in discounts and easy emergency services (for both electrical and plumbing - they do both).
Description of Work: Replaced a burnt out GFCI outlet in my kitchen and checked the breaker box wiring for one breaker (that did not need replacing after all).
