They pointed out a problem with my heat pump which I will now definitely have checked out through my home warranty. They let me know my furnaces were old and inefficient and I should think about replacing them. He let me know I had some flex wiring that I should think about replacing as well. He wasn't high pressure, he was polite and talkative.

Office staff very efficient and accomodating. Techician was knowledgable and performed the inspection in a timely manner. Did not change the filter as furnace required a more expensive filter than what they were offering.

Called and scheduled appointment with Snappy HVAC. Scheduled appointment two days from date I originally called and stated would be "at our home between 8 am - 10 am, but closer to 8 am." Having moved to Atlanta from Chicago recently, I anticipated a call from the technician on the day of the appointment indicating it would be after 12 Noon. However, on the day of the scheduled appointment, the tech called a few minutes prior to 8 am and indicated he was en route to our home. He was on time, his service was impeccable and he was professional, courteous and cleaned up after his work was completed. All in all, a great experience with Snappy HVAC. Prompt, courteous, professional, and cost effective. We got everything we paid for and then some! We have scheduled follow up service with Snappy for the Spring and Summer months for the AC. Great service and I highly recommend them to everyone.

We schedule all of our appointments for a 2 hour window and call you 45 minutes before arrival along with sending you a picture of your technician so you know who to be expecting. This keeps you from standing around waiting all day as your time is as important as ours. I called to get my furnace fixed because Atlanta Gas turned of the gas to the furnace due to a gas leak and when I called Snappy to place a service call I was told that they could not come and repair leak because I was not the home owner. I informed Snappy that the home owner is a stewardess and getting in contact with her is almost impossible but they would not come out to repair the gas leak .

I apologize for any inconvenience but we do have a company policy for landlord/tenant situations in which we require the owner of the property to call in the service order. We have found in the past by not doing this we end up in payment disputes along with many other issues where tenants may not have the authority to approve repairs or even call in a service request. We bought a coupon for $150 of service for $75, from Angie's list but when we called them they said Angie's list is getting the $75, not them, and that they would charge us another $75 for $150 of work, meaning that we would have paid $150 for $150 of service - no discount at all. Very deceptive deal, so we asked Angie's list to refund our money and they did.

We have sold many of these deals since we started and have never prevented a customer from redeeming its full value. Tech showed up on time, dressed appropriately and was very professional. Quickly diagnosed the issues and repaired what was necessary. I felt the price was a little steep for what was performed.

We are renovating an upstairs bathroom. The tile setters were coming on Monday and I had to have the new tub set in place and the plumbing completed for the new shower faucet and raised shower head. The new tub arrived and the first thing I noticed was that the new tub drain was not in line with the existing tub drain. I called a plumber, recommended by a neighbor, and they were coming out on Thursday. They called Thursday and cancelled, several of their crew were out sick. They rescheduled for Friday afternoon. I explained that I needed the work completed before the following Monday, they said no problem. Friday, the plumber arrives, looks at the work to be done, gives me an outlandish estimate and says he can not do the work until the following Tuesday afternoon. I am not a happy camper. I get up Saturday morning and decided to call someone else, just on the outside chance that I could get someone to come out on a Saturday. I went to Angie's List, not my neighbor, and called Snappy. Doris was so pleasant, listened to my story, said not to worry because Jason would be over in two hours. I was amazed, I called a plumber on a Saturday morning and they were coming out in two hours. Two hours later Jason arrived. He was courteous, professional and ready to look at the work to be done. He assessed the situation, asked a few questions, made some suggestions and offered a reasonable proposal to perform the work at hand. I was relieved and happy to see Jason. Jason began his work immediately and in a few hours the tub drain was in perfect alignment with the new tub, the single lever faucet was installed, the shower head was raised and the new tub was setting perfectly in place. It was a pleasure watching a professional work. He had everything he needed, the right tools and 14 years of experience behind him. I will call on Snappy, and ask for Jason, when we renovate our master bath after the holidays. In fact, I will call on Snappy for all of my plumbing, electrical and HVAC needs. They did an okay job but they overcharged me. They charged me about $300 for a part that cost about $40-$50 on-line; I was not happy with that. My advice to someone thinking about using them would be to do a little research on-line once they tell you what the problem is; then make a decision if that is the right price. He did a good job on the job but overcharged me on the part.

Thank you for the report on your service call but after reviewing your invoice we did a good bit more than just replace a part. You total invoice included diagnostics, repair, and a 2 system Home Protection Plan. We were there for almost 2 hours in total for the diagnostics of the unit and replacement of a capacitor along with doing your cooling maintenance which included chemical coil cleanings of both your outside units. Keep in mind for that total amount paid you are still owed a heat maintenance on both of you furnaces (includes cleaning heat exchangers) which you should be receiving a call within the next few weeks for scheduling. We have competitive pricing in our market and feel that you received plenty of value in relation to the amount of money spent. Keep in mind that all companies have to include many additional fees in their pricing to account for operating expenses such as employee benefits (insurance, 401k, paid vacation etc.), warranties, fully stocked trucks, administration and call center staffing, utility bills, advertising and so on. However all legitimate service companies in any field all have pricing in a set range in order to be competitive. We are not the cheapest nor the highest but try to give you the most for your buck with great customer service, knowledge, options, quality installations, competitive pricing, & industry tops Lifetime Warranty on most all repairs! Description of Work: Used the video camera services to inspect sewer line which required flushing out and then replacement of about 50 feet of sewer line. Had a leaky toilette. Snappy showed up on time withing several hours of making the initial call. Quoted a staggering $400 to simply replace a toilet water cut-off valve. A fifteen minute job involving inexpensive parts. I did not agree to pay this price. They sure are snappy but also pricey.

The technic Byron explained in detailed problems that we were having, fixed it right away. The technic arrived way ahead of schedule and had called to see if that was okay. No mess was left behind. We are very pleased with the service.
Description of Work: I contacted the service for an estimate on the plumbing problems that we heard when running water. The technic found discovered that our water pressure was too high and this is why we heard strange noises when running water. He gave us the estimated and said that he had the items on the truck and could do the work right away. He had to replace two parts, the expansion tank and pressure valves. We were pleased because the noises stop right away.

The service guy listened to everything I had to say about the situation and ordered all the equipment necessary to be able to replace the water heater and fix the pipes as soon as they could pick up the equipment they had to order. They picked up the heater in the evening after normal working hours and were at my house first thing the next morning. They had the pipes installed correctly and the water heater working in as short a time as was possible. They also never tried to take advantage of the fact that I was in an emergency situation. The price quoted was very fair and less than other's I'd gotten over the phone. I especially appreciate that they could have charged more given the situation and I would have had no choice but to pay it since I didn't have time to get anyone else out in time. The work was done well and professionally and they cleaned everything up nicely when they were done. They were also very pleasant through the entire process.
Description of Work: I had an emergency situation where I was smelling gas in the house. The gas company came out a found the problem to be that the previous owners (I'd just recently bought the house) had hooked up a propane water heater to a natural gas line. Obviously that wasn't going to work well. I had to shut off the gas until the Water heater was replaced. The previous owners had also run the pipes incorrectly and the would not pass inspection until the pipes were replaced correctly. To make it worse I was going on vacation the next day and had to catch my plane.

The biggest misconception on home repairs is that if it works it is correct which is far from the truth. Had you not been aware of what your were smelling and took the appropriate actions the situation could have been much worse. I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Snappy from beginning to end. I initially called to schedule a plumber for a major leak in my basement utility closet. I promptly got a person on the phone (didn't have to leave a message) and was able to book an appointment for shortly there after. The day before my appointment I learned that the leak was coming from the a/c unit above (on the first floor) rather than from the kitchen plumbing as originally suspected. I called Snappy to explain and requested they send an HVAC technician instead. Again I was able to speak with someone promptly and the change was made. On the day of the appointment I received a phone call to inform me that the technician was on his way. Additionally, I received an email confirming my technician was on the way as well as to provide me with specific information about my technician including a photo. I appreciate this extra step to make customers feel more comfortable opening their doors and allowing a stranger into their home. Collin, my technician arrived on time (well within the window quoted) and was very polite and professional. Once he assessed the situation, he explained what he thought the problem was and what needed to be done to resolve it. He drew up a quote, explained the cost and I chose to go forward with the repair. The A/C was leaking from condensation build up due to a backed up drain. Once into the repair, Collin discovered the situation was a little worse than anticipated: the blockage would not clear after standard procedure. Again he informed me of the problem and possible solutions, cost difference etc before proceeding. Fortunately, he found the location of the blockage and was able to resolve the problem. I also took advantage of this opportunity to invest in their service plan which included maintenance of the furnace that day and service for the A/C unit in the spring. I feel that Collin was highly skilled and knowledgeable, communicated clearly and concisely and made every effort to work with my budget while advising me on recommended maintenance. I definitely will not hesitate to call Snappy again for any of their services.

All Snappy personnel, from the dispatcher to the technician to the manager were extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. They were there right away when I called and fixed the problem as inexpensively as possible. I was very impressed with the whole operation and purchased an annual maintenance plan for both my A/C and heating units. I would definitely recommend this company!
Description of Work: One of two A/C units not cooling properly. Purchased a "Big Deal" for routine maintenance on both units and had the technician diagnose and fix the problem with the one unit.

Originally, I was going to use Home Depot's installation service after I bought the garbage disposer, but after learning that it would require at least 3 visits and a continually escalating price, I decided to call Snappy to get it done all at once. They were able to schedule the work on the date and time that were convenient to me. They emailed to remind me of the appointment and emailed again when technicians were assigned, including pictures of the technicians so I had no doubt as to who was showing up. The technicians (electrician and plumber) showed up exactly on time and were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They explained everything they were going to do and told me in advance how much it would cost. They cleaned everything after the work was done, and the only evidence that they were ever there is that I now have a fantastic new garbage disposer. I haven't done much comparison shopping for this type of work, so I don't know what to say about the prices. They seemed slighly higher than what I would have paid Home Depot, but I don't mind paying a premium for this level of quality and service. (I am still fighting with Home Depot to refund the installation fee I paid them.)
Description of Work: An electrician and a plumber wired and installed a garbage disposer that I had previously bought at Home Depot.
