Description of Work: I contacted this company and left a message. It went well at first. Mathew returned the call and said he would try to come on Friday afternoon to give me an estimate. He said that if he couldn't come Friday, he could come either Saturday or Sunday if that was okay with me. I agreed with this. He didn't ever show up or call to reschedule.

 + -1 moreCalled for an estimate for tree service, spoke with M. Morgan and he stated he would be out that same day or the next day. I did not need to be home for the estimate and paperwork would be left with the written estimate and trees would be tagged. I called him 2 days later, spoke with him again and stated he had been by but had questions and was in the middle of another estimate but would return my call as soon as he was done. I have yet to hear from him and I do not believe he came by as there was no paperwork and no trees tagged. A waste of time and conversation.

 + -1 moreOverall a great job! The poplar tree that had been damaged by lightning, was right next to our storage shed. Between the shed, the fences on both sides of my property and the house itself, they had a very small area to drop the very large tree into. Got the tree down, no problem. Cut the stump low and did a great clean-up. Only two minor points of feedbacks (not even complaints, per say). Showed up to do the estimate without calling first (which worked out fine, but a call first would have been nice). Did not trim all the dead branches out of the oak trees. Missed some at the very top, which I guess is understandable, because these oak trees are huge. Also, I had a very rushed schedule due to family coming into town, and they came out very quickly and had the work done on time as promised.
Description of Work: Removed one large poplar tree from my backyard. Tree had been struck by lightning and was dangerous to climb. Cut stump low to the ground and clean up broken pieces on the ground. Pruned dead limbs out of two huge oak trees.

 + -1 moreMatthew Morgan @ Limb-It-Less was the first of several companies to respond to my calls. He is a certified arborist and is very knowledgeable - in fact, he impressed me the most out of all the people I talked to (though not all were arborists.) I originally thought his bid was too high but then after other bids came in even higher, I realized it was in line. One bid was almost $1,000.00 less but I was concerned about lack of job quality / experience / insurance coverage with that company. My situation was expensive due to the difficulty of cutting trees down and saving smaller, adjacent trees. Limb-It-Less provided me with full proof of extensive insurance. They did a great job and I would certainly use them again.
Description of Work: Removed 5 large pine trees from my yard; Cleaned out small sweet gum trees and vines from underneath magnolia trees; pruned and shaped two trees; removed 2 dead bushes; cleaned up debris.

Every aspect of the job was handled with a high level of professionalism. They kept us updated on the progress and were happy to answer any questions. Considering the level of professionalism and outcome, the price we paid was a bargain. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

 + -1 moreThe company did not show up for the first estimate on Friday March 17. They said they would be out between 1 and 4 pm. They did not show up and I called them. They said they would definitely come out the next day after finishing a job at roughly 11 am. They did not show up or call. Very unprofessional and wasted my time waiting for them.

 + -1 moreMatt is a wonderful young man whom I would recommend to others. He was prompt, professional, courteous and genuinely caring. He even discounted the charge because of the circumstances.
Description of Work: A stray cat was stuck in a tree in front of one of our rental homes. One of the people you listed was still working out of town on the hurricane Katrina cleanup so he referred our call to Matthew Morgan of Limb-It-Less, L.L.C. He left us a message that morning but I didn't receive it until I returned home that evening. To my surprise, he came right when we called. By the time he got to the house, it was after 7:00 p.m. and after he had worked all day. He was aware that the cat was in the tree almost 4 days and the forecast for Wednesday, 12/14 was freezing rain and possible ice. It took him over 2 hours (working without help) but he was determined that he was going to get the cat out of the tree. He climbed the tree and rescued the cat who was cold, wet and covered with paint from paint balls. Matt said he would not have been able to sleep unless he got the cat out of the tree.

 + -1 moreVERY PROFESSIONAL. PERFORMED THE JOB WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. WE FELT COMFORTABLE WITH THEM TAKING DOWN THE LARGE TREES THAT WERE CLOSE TO OUR (AND OUR NEIGHBORS) HOUSE. THEIR PRICE WAS ON THE HIGH SIDE OF THE BIDS I GOT, BUT WITHIN RANGE.

MATT MORGAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND UNLIKE OTHER TREE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES, DID NOT TRY TO CONVINCE ME THAT ALL MY TREES SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED. HE DESCRIBED EXACTLY HOW THE TREES WOULD BE REMOVED AND POINTED OUT THAT HALF OF ONE TREE (A DUAL-TRUNKED TREE) DIDN'T NEED TO BE CUT. THE CLEAN-UP JOB WAS AMONG THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE FOR THE WORK PERFORMED. MATT, A CERTIFIED ARBORIST, ALSO GAVE US SOME FREE TIPS ON CARING FOR SOME SMALL TREES WE HAD PLANTED.
Description of Work: REMOVED THREE TREES. TWO WERE DAMAGED/UNHEALTHY, WERE IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE HOUSE, AND LEANED TOWARD THE HOUSE. THE THIRD TREE WAS WITHIN TWO FEET OF THE HOUSE. ALL THREE REQUIRED MORE THAN A SIMPLE ''CUT AND DROP.''
