The Technicians on both occasions were very professional and worked over and above what many contractors would do. Tim was the first technician and john was the most recent. Both were excellent.

The lady who set up the appoint was very courteous and helpful. The technicians who came out were timely and found the problem quickly and repaired it. They came in through the garage and the smoke alarm was beeping. I am disabled and when they went to leave they asked if I would like them to replace the battery at no charge (that was very kind of them and much appreciated). As it turned out the smoke alarm was not working correctly as one of the wires had broken into, so they replaced it for me and it was discovered the smoke alarm was almost 20 years old. As a result they checked the smoke alarms inside and they were also almost 20 years old. I was glad to give them more work and have all the alarms replaced, and I did not mind the extra expense at all. They showed me the date on the replaced alarms so I would know they were not just trying to get more money out of me. I will be using them for any electrical work needed as I feel from their actions they are reliable and trustworthy, and I will tell anyone who asks if I know of a good electrical repair service to call Lighting Bug Electric.

The overall process took longer than anticipated but the two electricians kept me abreast of all that was going on with timely updates.

Our AC was not working and the AC contractor diagnosed an electrical problem. We called Lightning Bug and they found the problem and fixed it for us and got our AC running in no time!

Leo was great! After listening to our request and why we wanted it, he offered suggestions as well as thoroughly explained the process and his recommendations then provided the pricing. He was prepared to do the job the same day but applied no pressure to do so. He also shared incites and knowledge on other aspects related to the job which was very helpful to our understanding.

Very very good...…. Came in. looked and listened to what I wanted …. gave a good price and I got out of the way ……. Men were clean, polite, courteous very pleasant to talk with ….. above all Professional ………………………….. took approximately 2.5hr ………. Worked hard and fast...………… would have been nice to have a plastic sheet to cover my desk …… but they did warn me ………….. I'd hire them again in a heart beat and get my own sheet!!!!! They were in and out , in about 15 minutes for an outlet to be installed.. Also checked my fuse box , while they were here.

I was very impressed with the electricians Sean and Dustin. They both were very professional, courteous, hard working not even taking time for lunch.Sean very quickly solved my lighting problem caused by a previous electricians oversight. They took time to listen to my concerns with potentially needing an additional subpanel and rather than agreeing and charging me for an expensive upgrade,felt I was sufficiently powered rather than selling me an expensive upgrade. I highly recommend both the company for their administrative procedures and their qualified electricians.

They were timely and professional, and even came back out after the initial job was completed and changed out the LED cans because we didn't like the color temp of the light. No questions asked. They will be the first company we call if we need any electrical work done again.

The Lightning Bug crew arrived promptly. I expected to get only an estimate. Instead, the crew stayed the entire day to complete all work in accordance with an inspection report. They were professional and courteous. The work was done beautifully. Pricing was very fair. Every aspect of the work was shown to me before and after. They saved me quite a bit of money when it was assessed there was only a circuit breaker disconnect for one area of the house. They cleaned up well. I would not hesitate to use Lightning Bug again!

Although they had to push us up a week the technician arrived on time and stayed late to ensure that the work was done in a timely manner. When they realized the number of plugs there were they sent two additional technicians to ensure that they could complete everything in 2 days. Awesome company.

Jeremy and Steven were great. They were very thorough and stayed past normal quitting time to finish the job. They also took the time to call a manufacturer for me on some faulty equipment they found in the house. I will definitely call them whenever I have electrical issues.

Nick and Bobby arrived on time and gave a thorough explanation of what caused our electrical issues and the work that needed to be done. Jeremy and his sidekick Matt were prompt, professional and capable. These guys not only performed the work flawlessly, but also took the time to ask us questions about our goals for the job and clearly explained our options to get the best outcome. One point that stands out is a discussion around the difficulty of changing out light bulbs in the foyer chandelier due to the height and position. Jeremy recommended we use LED bulbs rather than the standard bulbs we had on hand. He then explained the different options available in LED bulbs and guided me in determining the exact kind I needed - things like wattage and degree of warmth. He then waited while I zipped to the hardware store to get the bulbs so he could install them while hanging the new fixture. They completed the job but also saved me from future headaches trying to maintain my new light.

We needed two ceiling fans installed before out-of-town guests arrived for Thanksgiving, and we had made arrangements with another company several weeks prior to do the work. When they called a week before Thanksgiving to let me know they made an error with their scheduling and couldn't come to our home until after Thanksgiving, we gave Lightning Bug Electric a call based on their good online reviews. We were able to get an appointment scheduled with them for the week of Thanksgiving. Our electrician, Jeremy, arrived on time (after we were notified that he was on his way thanks to a courtesy call from a company representative). He was courteous, careful, and completely professional. He immediately identified a problem with our ceiling fan boxes (which caused the fans to be wobbly and led to one of them getting loose—prompting our call in the first place), so we had those replaced as well. The installation went great, and we're very happy with the service. We're grateful Jeremy and Lightning Bug Electric were able to come in a pinch, and we now have peace of mind knowing our previously poorly installed fans have been replaced and will be secure for years to come. Jeremy our electrician was fantastic! He was punctual, professional and personable. After chandelier was installed I decided I wanted it a little longer and he accommodated my request without making me feel that it was an inconvenience. Would definitely use again for any electrical needs.

I called Lightning Bug Electric because my brand new dryer quit working, and I didn't know if the problem was the electric outlet, the breaker, or the dryer itself. Jeremy arrived the same day I called, within about 90 minutes, and traced the problem to the installation of the dryer cord (the insulation had rubbed off, creating a short), which the appliance company came and replaced. But the breaker needed to be replaced anyway, which he did. I also had him install three basement ceiling lights, repair a chandelier, and determine why a kitchen LED ceiling light was not working. He also gave me advice on replacing my smoke and CO2 detectors, and wired in or wireless alarms. He was very professional, pleasant, and helpful on a day that started with a great deal of frustration for me. I will use Lightning Bug Electric again, and I will ask for Jeremy. I used a 10% off Angie's List coupon, which helped with the price, but the cost of the ceiling lights was the same as with other electric companies that had given me estimates in the past.

The job was done professionally. Unfortunately in wiring up the switch, the installer disconnected the power going to the adjoining room ceiling fan light. I had to troubleshoot the problem and reconnect the power going from that switch to the other room. At first I could not imagine wiring one switch from one room affect the adjoining room and it took me awhile to figure that one out. It may be an oversight.
