The technician was thorough, knowledgeable and punctual.

We just had LBE come out to do a list of items, including light fixture installation and some electrical upgrades. I'm sure all of their electricians are well-qualified, but if Jason Allen shows up at your place, you can best believe you'll get quality service and workmanship. He didn't try to up-sell us on things we didn't need, and he explained everything he did for us as he went along. He was on time almost to the second, and he's just a nice guy. LBE is lucky to have him as part of their company.

Excellent service. Michael, our specialist was very polite and knowledgeable. He took care of everything and also highlighted some important issues around the house that need to be taken care off. He was willing to answer all the questions with great attitude. The only caveat is that they are a bit pricey. I would recommend them.

I had several light fixtures that I needed to have installed including a light in a 20+ foot foyer. JJ was my technician. He provided an estimate and was able to complete the work the same day. He and the other technician ensured everything was working properly and cleaned up before they left. Highly recommend.

Sam arrived at the time agreed. He was professional, polite and friendly. He provided a quote to which we agreed, then started and completed the work within a few short hours. He also installed several dedicated circuits in out panel. The workmanship was superior - very neatly done. Use Lightning Bug Electric and ask for Sam. You will not be disappointed.

Unsatisfactorily. There are reviews on this site written by people who say they have had lamps repaired by the company. When I called to inquire, I was told matter-of-factly that the company does not repair lamps. After I said that I had seen reviews on Angie's List from customers who had had lamps repaired, the representative didn't seem to know what I was talking about and didn't offer me any other information. Not helpful.

Lightning Bug electric responded immediately to my call, and got the meter replaced and service to most of the house restored the same day. Bobby was the first man on the job, but the others who joined him showed the same level of professionalism and dedication to doing the job right. I have used them before and would definitely use them again.

Overall experience was excellent. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Electricians (Michael and Caleb) arrived at the beginning of the 4-hour window. They got the work done quickly and well. They also answered questions I had about future projects. I would hire again.

Very impressed -- the company was very professional, the technician (I think his name was Jeremy) was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. We had originally planned just to have a light fixture in one of the bedrooms replaced, but that morning found a great deal on a Ring doorbell. We asked if he could install that, too, even though it was a last minute addition, and he agreed to install it with no problem. It's always nice to work with a company that is so on top of service! That is hard to find these days, so highly recommend this company.

Saved our house from burning down! We had called another company who came out and didn't even look at our breaker box to diagnose the problem before telling us we were safe to keep using it. Unsatisfied and wary of this information we called Lightning Bug Electric. Steven came out, actually pulled our breaker box apart, and was able to diagnose a serious issue. He was kind, professional, and friendly. He personally showed me the problem he found. It was unsafe to use our breaker box as it was sparking, arching, smoking, and melting. Steven pushed all his appointments for us to be taken care of ASAP since our situation was dire. He installed a new panel and did an excellent job! Would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of electrical service! They are honest, friendly, helpful, accommodating, professional and they did not price gouge us. It went well. Steven was great. He was down to earth and I didn't ever get the impression that he was trying to rip me off. He did great work, and gave great suggestions. I thought the price was a little high, but nothing is cheap nowdays, and it did take a lot of work to wire through the walls of my older Victorian home. I would hire again.

Found out it was not outlet. It was the toaster that was defective. No charge. Steven & Caleb were very professional but friendly. Highly recommend company.

For the initial appointment to get the quote, Bobby & James were great in helping me understand what the job would take and the time they would need. The quote was reasonable. James and JJ were very professional and reliable when it came to getting the job done. They laid the electrical line from the house to the gazebo. They wired the gazebo for a fan and installed it. The also wired the gazebo for electrical screens and worked to make sure that the measurements were accurate. When I asked to have a line moved because it didn't look appealing, they were very accommodating and didn't find any issue with my request. I will definitely use them for future electrical jobs and recommend them to my friends and family.

We chose Lightning Bug Electric to install a backup generator for our house because Lightning Bug had handled some electrical work for us in the past, and we liked their service. Sean and Dustin installed our generator and we could not be more pleased with our experience. They were totally accommodating to our needs and schedules, installed the generator and completed their work with a minimum of disruption to us. They answered all of our questions and were extremely knowledgeable. When we had a minor glitch with our water heater, Sean made sure that we were taken care of promptly on a Saturday morning! We look forward to continuing our relationship with Lightning Bug-- they are definitely our go-to guys!

The Technicians on both occasions were very professional and worked over and above what many contractors would do. Tim was the first technician and john was the most recent. Both were excellent.

The lady who set up the appoint was very courteous and helpful. The technicians who came out were timely and found the problem quickly and repaired it. They came in through the garage and the smoke alarm was beeping. I am disabled and when they went to leave they asked if I would like them to replace the battery at no charge (that was very kind of them and much appreciated). As it turned out the smoke alarm was not working correctly as one of the wires had broken into, so they replaced it for me and it was discovered the smoke alarm was almost 20 years old. As a result they checked the smoke alarms inside and they were also almost 20 years old. I was glad to give them more work and have all the alarms replaced, and I did not mind the extra expense at all. They showed me the date on the replaced alarms so I would know they were not just trying to get more money out of me. I will be using them for any electrical work needed as I feel from their actions they are reliable and trustworthy, and I will tell anyone who asks if I know of a good electrical repair service to call Lighting Bug Electric.

The overall process took longer than anticipated but the two electricians kept me abreast of all that was going on with timely updates.
