Description of Work: This was a Big Deal for ceiling fan installation.

Description of Work: It was not a positive experience at all. I purchased the coupon, but had to wait over 3 weeks for service due to scheduling. When Joe arrived, on time, he was unfamiliar with the coupon (although I had already confirmed with the company the techs know the coupon). He had to call his supervisor for help. He then quoted it wrong again, and once again called his supervisor. This wasted about 25 minutes, and now I had little to no confidence with his knowledge of the company nor its policies. I live in a old house, and Joe was unable to figure out how to get the work done without tearing apart the ceiling (he would have had to rewire to code, etc). I declined further service. I had no confidence in his ability. He left the house, my ceiling now has a small, ill-fitting white plate covering the hole, but protecting the wires. My ceiling looks worse than it did with the old ceiling fan box installed.

Description of Work: Even though the tech was running just a few minutes late, they were courteous and advised me by telephone ahead of time. They work was performed flawlessly, the tech was professional and courteous, and even wore protective shoe covers! There. We're no surprises , and when I asked for an estimate on a unrelated electrical issue- it was a fair price and it was done correctly the first time.

Description of Work: Called about 1030am and had an appointment with our electrician Roland the same day. I was very happy to get such quick service. Roland was very professional, quiet, clean and did his job with efficiency. We had a medium size chandelier installed and dimmer switch put on it. I think the price was a bit high (more than the chandelier) but for the fast service response I can overlook that. I've attached a picture of the final product minus a few crystal that were missing. No fault of the electrician and will arrive in 2 days. ;)

Description of Work: The company was scheduled to be at my house between 12 and 2. They called and asked if they could come earlier which suited me just fine. Roland introduced himself and I explained that my main concern was my kitchen light. He checked and gave me a quote to replace the ballasts. Work was done efficiently and with no mess. He showed me the defective parts so that I would be assured he was not "ripping me off". Roland also installed a new electrical outlet. He checked a lamp for me but didn't have parts to fix it. He was effiiciant, professional, polite and endeared himself to me -when he came in the house he patted my dog who thinks she owns the house. I have been having some balance problems and have a brace on my arm from a recent fall. Before Roland left he changed the batteries in my smoke detectors and recommended that I replace them. He gave me some idea of the costs of additional work that i will schedule later. I think the prices are a little high but then I haven't used an electrician in several years. Seems to be a very reliable company. I will definitely use this company again and hope they send Roland.

Description of Work: THE TECHNICIAN REPLACED A LIGHTING TRANSFORMER ON A FLOURESCENT LIGHTING FIXTURE THAT HAD BLOWN OUT THIS AM CAUSING SMOKE AND A HOT METAL SMELL. WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT A FIRE HAZARD AND WE CALLED LIGHTNING BUG ELECTRIC AND THEY PROMPTLY INSTRUCTED US IN WHAT TO DO AND THEN CAME OUT WITH IN AN HOUR TO FIX THE PROBLEM. ROLAND, THE TECHNICIAN, WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID A SUPERB JOB.
