About us

E. Smith celebrated 50 years of serving north metropolitan Atlanta in 2012 and we continue to work to keep our customers satisfied. We have over 50 employees including 12 technicians. Our only subcontracted area is in our commercial installation department. We accept all major credit cards and have equipment financing plans available through Wells Fargo. Each spring and fall we try to offer timely maintenance specials but the most affordable maintenance is with our annual agreement plans. Description of Work: Air would not circulate in our HVAC system. Evaluated the problem is the fan motor. The system is over 30 years old, and we were told we needed a whole new HVAC sysytem. We cannot afford this at this time, and the tech suggested to invest in some window air conditioners for the time being. The tech arrived on time. He was curteous and professional. No complaints about the service. But at this time we are unable to persue a new whole house system, so did not follow up.

Description of Work: Diagnosis. Did not require repair. The switch to furnace were turned off mistakenly by the tenants. Switch was turned back on. I would like to acknowledge rapid response and professionalism from Ms. Owens and the Mr. Technician. Thank you.

Description of Work: Our ac was making noise. The first tech just replaced the blower wheel as that was the one making the noise. After that the whole motor jammed up which we had to replace.

Description of Work: My AC evaporator coil had frozen up and the service technician thoroughly checked system inside and out to determine cause - low on freon. He recharged the system and replaced the filter, cleaned out the lines,etc. and got it going again. I also bought an annual contract which was the bulk of the cost and is good for two future servicing of my system across the next year. Great service, professional and responsive.
