Derek did an excellent job of scoping out the various problems, explaining them and letting me know what the cost would be. He fixed each one so that my AC is working great, and when I inquired about adding an air purifier to my HVAC, he was able to price & add that too. CoolRay provided same-day service and a superior technician. Yes I recommend this company!

i purchased a full two system unit from coolray they installed in a timely manor and everything was working just fine, we question the techs reguarding the electrical outside because they left it exposed and in a mess ...i was told thats normal so did not think of it cause the system worked, over the last 4 years upon serveral inspections none of the techs said a word about it , till the units went out in july of 2019 which was due to the electrical being exposed and improperly installed as their electrician pointed out that it was a mess and i let him know i questioned this and he said it was not covered and my service account had expired for which i had no idea, i purchased a two year service and they kept telling me i was good? so the electrician had to contact the head of company and he reinstated me but we were to pay for service contract and electrical fix so we did because of the lifetime warranty. so the following year in spring i needed the ducts cleaned and called coolray, they said to get them done before i had my regular service.. so we did and come to find out the last tech service just shoved the filter replacements into our systems not seeing that there were others in there so we ended up pulling out 5 filters that could have damaged the systems so when the tech came to service after duct cleaning we asked him why this happened he did not know of any reason why but at this time we found out that we no longer have a lifetime warranty? Really....i called the office and explanined all this to customer service and wanted to know about my lifetime warrant ? about a month later i got a call to service another inspection to see if they will cover my system for the lifetime warranty, i scheduled and on the day they were to be here my sister died and i was too distraught to have anyone come over ...totally forgot about it after this but remembered in june and started calling customer service to reschedule but needed to talk with the supervisor that set it up... to this day i have called weekly and have been getting the runnaround ever since. I refuse to pay for another year of service until they make this right any damage that has been done has been from their own techs... i am outraged with this poor customer setvice after paying out $14,000.00 for these two systems, their poor care and i dont have a lifetime warranty anymore ? please choose wisely before going with this company...seems if you complain or question they mess with you. my last attempt to contact owner was today and they wont give you the number or email...wonder why

Excellent; the Coolray technician “Mo” reviewed and inspected the entire system before diagnosing the issue, he walked me thru the process and Electrical issue then fixed it.

We have a maintenance agreement with Coolray. Michael came to check out some issues with the A/C. He took care of some obvious maintenance, and when that didn’t do the trick, he was back out the next day. Michael did a good job of explaining what was going on and offering some options.

They came out same day! My technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and fixed it fast. Because I bought my units from Coolray and I have a maintenance contract, I have a LIFETIME parr’s and labor warranty!

My technician Isaiah Watkins was very professional and informative. He explained the issue and a resolution to keep my AC effectively running. During this pandemic it’s great to find companies that are still able to provide their customers great customer service, and at the same time ensure their employees safety is priority!

I want to start off by saying the tech that came to my house was punctual and professional from the beginning. What I learned today is that this company is a bunch of crooks. I believe they are taking advantage of people who are without Ac in the summer heat. I called them because my air handler was not turning on. They quickly diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes, my control board was not working. They quoted me 800 dollars to replace this part. I asked how much was the part and how much was I being charged for labor. I was told the price is 800 dollars and that’s it. He stated they will give me a deal by waiving the 79 dollar service charge and that he would throw in a free capacitor that was going bad. I quickly found the board from multiple sellers online for less than 100 dollars. I said no thanks to the repair and paid for my diagnosis. Within minutes I found the board locally 10 minutes away. When purchasing the board I mentioned the capacitor to the counter sales person and they said they are likely lying about the capacitor as they are either working or not working. They sold me the board for 85 dollars and the capacitor just to be safe was 17 dollars. I installed the new bored in 15 minutes and everything was back to working condition. I am not a professional by any means, if you can use a screw driver and have the metal capacity to switch over a few wires you can do this easily. This company trying to charge 700+ dollars in labor for 30 minutes worth or work and maybe 45 minutes of sourcing a part is deplorable. I’m not sure if this type of over charging is an industry standard but coolray is definitely taking advantage of people stuck in a hot situation. I’m thankful my wife was out of town with our baby because I might have fallen victim to the outrageous pricing out of desperation. Please do not give this shady company your business.

Diagnosed and fixed problem promptly. Air conditioner was working within twenty minutes of arrival. A maintenance contract is a lifesaver with CoolRay.

Great, I have had Bret from Coolray coming to my house for many years. He is very professional, punctual and knows what he is doing. He gets straight to work does what has to be done and only advises me on what I need to keep my system running longer. He doesn't try to sell me anything that I really don't need. I wouldn't have anyone other than Coolray and Bret trusted with my HVAC system. I an on a service contract with Coolray and have a lifetime guarantee on my system. Therefore, unless there is some unusual regular uncover expenses the cost is usually zero.

Very well. The installation team were very professional and polite. They worked well together. They kept us informed through the process.

Poor. They made it a sales call when I called for repair. Worse yet, The tech spent the entire time Adding doubt and trying to up sell. “Supervisor” wouldn’t allow him to make the approved repairs same day. So I payed $80 for them to arrive, fix nothing, and try to sell me a new system. This group is why I do not trust ac repair. It’s not about taking care of the person. It’s about turning a quick profit for doing nothing and taking advantage of people’s lack of knowledge of ac repair by scaring them into spending more. This is ridiculous. A ten dollar capacitor was going to cost $380 to replace for 5minutes of work. Three more companies quoted the same job at half the price. This company is horrible.

Came in less than an hour and fixed it in 40 mins! Victor Gardner was our technician and he was here quickly, was super polite and professional and friendly and fixed my unit in less than one hour. I was so impressed that I got a “maintenance agreement“ with CoolRay to do all my furnace and A/C checks !! I want Victor Gardner to do all my regular service and maintenance of my A/C and Furnace.
