Description of Work: Lightning wiped out existing a/c. Called about Coolray and Mr. Plumber took the prize, in presentation, thoroughly ckg. about for mishaps w/electrical wiring, etc. They completed requirements of installing new system, staff (service individuals were 'johnnie on the spot' with any assistance in operating system).

Description of Work: Installed my Nest thermostat. I especially liked how easy it is to make an appointment. The tech who came out was friendly and professional.

Description of Work: Both master plumbers who came to give estimates spent a lot of their time helping us decide how to proceed with plumbing project and gave very good practical suggestions. The only reason we did not use this company for the plumbing remodeling project was the price. We did sign up for the "sister" company for the service contract on our Heating and AC equipment. We found the professionalism to be exactly what we had hoped for.

He cam out for a quick service call, replaced a few parts and had my furnace running in no time flat. He wasn't overselling or pushy, when he was selling a full year service agreement. Great professionalism and courtesy. I would use this company again.

Description of Work: Our air conditioning appeared to be functioning poorly in the middle of July, when it was very hot. We tried a number of other companies, all of which told us that they couldn't come out for several days. We did not want to spend several days in an un-air conditioned house in Atlanta in July, so we kept trying and found Cool-Ray. They came out the day after we called, fixed the problem and checked everything out. We have not had any other problems since. We actually bought their HVAC service plan.

I was under an annual maintenance contract with this company as I had once served on a board of directors with its founder, Ray Fussell. I do not know the current owner. I was advised that my compressor had died and was in need of a new system. Due to the time of year I decided to wait until spring. This spring I contacted other companies for the purpose of geting a competitive bid on the work. The first to come evaluate the work and make a bid quickly determined that my compressor was just fine. All that had happened was my thermostat needed to be re-set; it had stopped communicating with the A/C unit. No charge for this diagnosis, just a small charge for a re-fill of refrigerant for two units. I am advised that many of the larger companies pressure the service technicians to recommend a new replacement system. Although I don't know if that was the case with CoolRay, I am most disappointed with the errant diagnosis and potential cost had I not gotten another opinion. The ultimate work was done by someone I found through the web-site Service Magic.

Description of Work: They came to look at one of my furnaces that was not working. The technician determined that the motor needed to be replaced. Since that is covered under my homeowners warranty, I had to contact them before any work was done. A different contractor ended up doing the work. Although I had a coupon for a free service call, the technician said it did not apply because no service work was done. I had to pay for the visit, $79.00.
