she had great suggestions for short-term and long-term goals. She provided photos and estimates and offered future services. she was very kind, respectful,and enthusiastic. I liked her suggestions very much.

I decided that their services were not a fit for my budget. They were more upscale than I wanted to afford at this time. There was too much to do, for me to afford premium furniture for the entire house, and her hourly rate was a bit out of my budget. I did like her ideas, although parting with my lifelong ugly furniture was a bit scarey. I would recommend her for those that are not so budget challenged.

In the end there were some good ideas.

We could not have been more impressed with the design process, their professionalism, communication and the final result. The planning process was extensive and Mary Jo spent a LOT of time working with us to make sure we understood all of our options and her recommendations. The time spent in the planning and design process meant that we had very few changes as the project proceeded. Rodney is a perfectionist and the workmanship is outstanding. During the project, Rodney discovered that there was moisture coming in from our deck (the builder essentially did not use flashing and water had been coming into the wall for years). Also, he discovered that our water heater was leaking (which we were not aware of). In both of these instances, Mary Jo and Rodney told us and showed us what they discovered and provided us options on how to resolve these issues. Without his attention to detail, we would not have known about the moisture problem with the wall. Rodney's repair to the wall looks perfect. The project started exactly when they said they would, completed a week earlier than they scheduled, and despite the two additional projects (the water heater replacement and the wall and deck repair) came in exactly on budget. Their communication was excellent, the workmanship outstanding and we are extremely pleased with the final result. During the construction process, they cleaned up every day, met every commitment and were a delight to work with. They took the time to explain all of our options and the design was perfect.

Came prepared to discuss all details of our bathroom and made excellent suggestions which we are now using when remodeling. Did seem to get stuck on one design idea and didn't offer a lot of options, but the design she came up with was very good and the one we ended up using after consulting with others. Was happy to use her services and would recommend to others.

They called me to schedule the appointment with them the day after I purchased the Deal and it went fine. The consultation was great.

Consulted with us for exterior color choices for repainting our home. I wanted to change the color but had a hard time visualizing paint colors. She chose colors I would never have thought to select but once she showed them to me I loved them. We are having the house painted next week. She also spent a lot of time giving me ideas and suggestions for furniture placement and design for the basement. Really learned a lot in the short time she was here. Definitely a great value and I would use her again.

Went great, she was very proffessional, intuitive, fantastic knowledge with color and design, and helped me and my wife come together on some choices we were in disagreement on.

We needed new rugs for living and dining areas and decorating advice on what to buy and how to pull the rooms together. She also gave advice and quotes for items for future. Mary Jo Cooper was great on figuring out what I wanted and delivering/installing rugs. A great experience.

It was fine, I wish I would have been able to complete the deal because I was looking forward to having her expertise added to my environment. I was able to contact Angie's List to get a full refund for the deal.

Mary Jo was fantastic! I have never worked with a designer who thought so fast on her feet and provided such helpful information. Mary Jo is extremely knowledgable about construction, furniture placement, architectural design, and color selection. Another thing I appreciated about Mary Jo is that she is a straight shooter. When I had an idea that was not in my best interest, she told me in a direct and professional way, while at the same time leaning heavily into what I liked and was important to me. It was truly amazing how much assistance she provided in a two hour timeframe for such a reasonable cost. I highly recommend Mary Jo!

Mary Jo was very punctual, patient, upbeat, energetic and sweet. She listened to my vision and lead me in the right direction. She helped me choose which paint colors would be the best fit in each room. Being a first-time home buyer and a novice to design, I had a lot of misconceptions and she took time to explain everything to me. She introduce me to the world of rugs and educated me on the different types/qualities of rugs. Overall, it was a good experience, I would recommend her as a design consult.

The designer was supposed to assist with picking paint colors for our new homeHowever her availability was over a month to get an appointment. That did not meet my expectations or our deadline so I hired another designer and chose colors and finished the painting before the assigned date.

I love the house, yard, and neighborhood, but the seller's taste in color was terrible and stuck in the 1980's. Mary Jo came over with a big box of Color swatches, and in no time, we had selected colors for all of the rooms that I was planning to paint. YES, I am a happy customer. This was the best $89 we spent ? we received way more than the value of the coupon. We badly needed help selecting paint colors ? she took her time with us. Although we had purchased only a 2-hour consult, Mary Jo went through each & every room, listened to our likes and dislikes, taught us what to look for when selecting color and provided color recommendations. She is not just a knowledgeable designer, but she is also very easy to work with ? which is important. I also like how she helped us prepare for the 2 hour consult by providing little homework upfront. We did not feel pressured to buy any services from her.

That was fantastic; that was very good. Mary Joe came over to my house, sat with me for two hours and gave me all kinds of great ideas for my remodeling which I am going to use. That was a very good experience; it was the best. I wanted a wall taken down between my kitchen and dining room and she was helping me pick out counter tops. She gave me ideas about taking down the wall, talked to me about the low bearing wall, what I can, and cannot do, just everything. We talked about the floor coloring for the paint and about what kind of floor I should get. She helped me with everything I should talk to the contractor about, questions I should ask the contractor and the kind of things I should get that’s durable, what she wouldn’t suggest to me and what she would. She talked about lighting fixtures and candle lighting as opposed to what I have. She talked about everything I wanted to know. She was a really good person. She had granite samples to show me the different granite, I picked out the one I wanted and she gave me the serial number so I could go find them. What stood out the most was how knowledgeable she was, just really knowledgeable and really friendly. It was a really great experience. I never worked with an interior designer before and I really learned a lot. She really helped me so much. She came up with a fantastic idea for my kitchen and I am so excited, I can’t wait to get started.

That went great. They did not do anything. The woman was great, answers all questions, gave several very important suggestions, and I feel great about it. She is excellent, on time, very professional, and I like her.

My two hour color consult could not have gone any better. Mary Jo is a genius, and had great feedback and suggestions for wall colors. I had never worked with an interior designer, but Mary Jo is so easy to talk with that I immediately felt at ease. We did a walkthrough of the whole house and in each room we talked about how I used the room and what I liked/didn't like and then looked at color suggestions. In addition to the colors, Mary Jo provided lots of suggestions about things I could do to improve the feel of the room. In addition to the colors, I have a long list of small things I can do to improve some major areas in the house. I'm excited about working with Cooper's Creations on my first real project!
