When we had to unexpectedly have work done on our home after a bathroom flood, Mary Jo and her team rescued us. They were prompt, professional and accommodating. Mary Jo had great design ideas and managed the project from beginning to end. So, when it came time to finish our unfinished basement, there was no doubt we would call Mary Jo. We are excited to get started on the project.

Consulted with Chosen Interiors for a color pallet to use both on the interior and exterior of my home. I spent months trying to decide and what took me months, Mary Jo was able to accomplish in 2 hours. Couldn't be happier with the results!

I met with Mary Jo a few months ago after moving into a new home for paint color consultation. We JUST finished the painting using her suggestions and we couldn't be happier. The home was built in 1990 and has some odd interior ceiling heights and not great flow. I'm usually good with picking paint colors and ideas for furniture but this house was really not coming together for me. Thank goodness I found Mary Jo and CC Design. First, she was not at all hesitant when I told her that, due to significant, unexpected, and expensive repairs in the new place I basically had no decorating budget for the near future. She offers a 2-hour consultation service for a fantastically reasonable price and I chose that option. The main focus was to pick paint colors and discuss suggestions for furniture placement. She made some suggestions for the paint that I never would have thought of. She gave great reasons for those suggestions and we went with them. And it looks ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. EXACTLY the feel and flow we were wanting! The consultation with her was money well spent. It took about an hour to pick the colors so she spent the remaining time discussing furniture options, placement in the living area and some remodel ideas for our master bath. I would absolutely use her again both for the hourly consultations and, hopefully, larger projects with an actual budget to work with.

Mary Jo was fantastic at helping redo my condo. She was very professional, listened to what I wanted, and then collaborated with me on every item. She was very detailed and really got to the heart of what I wanted. My condo looks amazing now and I am very happy with the results. I cannot wait to do my bedroom and office with Mary Jo.

I was planning to have 6 rooms repainted and needed to select colors. I cannot see color very well and have "0" confidence in my ability to select paint color. After 2 agonizing months and 35 paint samples from Sherwin-Williams I contacted Mary Jo for help. She was amazing. Her confidence and experience immediately put me at ease. Within 2 hours she helped me select the colors. The painting is now complete and the rooms look beautiful. She is now helping me with some interior decorating ideas.

Working with Mary Jo has been awesome to say the least. She knows her stuff and has great ideas. I've been able to reach out to her through our remodel and have been met with professionalism, honesty, and know how everytime. Absolutely love her work!

I have been very happy with all the work that Mary Jo has done in our home. We initially worked together to decorate our primary living space. That went so well that I asked for help in another room. Mary Jo and her office staff, are very professional in organizing what needs to be done to get the project completed. Mary Jo is a talented interior designer. She helped me develop and execute a vision for my loft based on a realistic budget. With her expert guidance on colors, lighting, tile, furniture, and wall accents, a cold and dated space was transformed into a warm and inviting showpiece that I'm proud to call home.

She was very helpful and offer a lot of advice in a short period of time. I will hire her later for more suggestions

Everything went well and pretty much according to schedule. Mary Jo and Rodney (the owners) were responsive to inquiries and coordinated any changes with us in advance to make sure the changes worked with our schedule as well as theirs and their subcontractors.

Excellent, professional workmanship

We had the walls and trim painted, in addition to dry wall repair and popcorn ceiling removed in our living room. The work was done in 2 days, on time and in an exemplary manner. She recreated the space in our living room with these changes and then recommended updated furnishings. She took measurements and directed me to her vendors that would have the best pieces to suit the rooms and my budget. She paid close attention to detail in choosing materials that would blend with our current furniture and style. I loved the way she was able to help me visualize changes and was at ease with her obvious creative instincts and demeanor. I have recommended her to my friend, who also had her dining room done, and will be calling her to complete work in our kitchen.

I was telling her a lot of problem points that I had and getting ideas of what to do. She didn't actually draw a design or do anything computer-based, or anything like that. We mainly focused on my kitchen area. She brought samples of products that we looked at and kind of made selections from. I took a lot of notes. I was not going to be ready to start that project yet. I was trying to get an idea of what I should do to the kitchen to keep it within the budget I was thinking I wanted to spend. And I was very concerned about not over spending for the area that I lived in. I didn't want to sink 50 grand into a complete kitchen reod and not be able to get the money back. So we looked at some different things and she gave me some guidance. She wanted to know the approximate value of the home and kind of get a lot of that kind of thing. Then we just talked a lot and I took a lot of notes. Her company doesn't service my area. So, as far as her being hands on for an actual remodel, so she was happy to come out this far for a consultation and give guidance, but so it was really to help me get organized and to know what budget-wise, to help me to get ready, whenever I am ready. She was great. I don't believe she quoted me a price on what the actual project would be. That was fine. I think it was actually a deal on Angie's List, which is how I found it.

It went really well. She gave us exactly what we were looking for which was a list of priorities for the price of the home and our future outlook and neighborhood prices. She helped us with everything we needed; would definitely work with her again.

We recently moved into a new home and I had some questions about how to place things, measurements, sizing of furniture, etc so I bought a 2 hour consultation. Honestly, it felt like I paid for a sales pitch. Got a few good tips and questions answered but she spent the vast majority of the time telling me what she offers, why I should hire her, and what I would get if I did so. I guess she realized what she was doing so she offered me two additional hours for the price of one. No thank you.

Mary Jo's assistant set up a time for Mary Jo to come, and provided a comprehensive questionnaire to be filled out prior to the appointment. Very thorough. This questionnaire triggered many ideas that I needed to think about in order for the consultation to be fruitful. When Mary Jo arrived, she offered many suggestions that I hadn't even considered. This was the best value per dollar that I've ever spent.

MaryJo & Rodney are top notch. Rodney & Jim reconstructed a built in cabinet to accommodate our large screen TV. MaryJo & Katrina glazed the finished product & it transformed our room and blew our minds. Then MaryJo had full access to decorate our family room and dining room from ground zero. We are so fortunate and excited to have the opportunity to have this done - my first professional decorator experience and it was well worth it. I could never have created such a comfortable, peaceful feel. My only instruction to MaryJo was that we had grown kids with grand dogs that visit often and hopefully soon grand baby's. We are definitely a live in your house family and did not want a "showcase" that was too pretty to touch. We got the best of both. Both rooms are a beautiful showcase but with a comfortable inviting feel to relax and enjoy. I'm ecstatic with the results- I can't wait to be able to hire her to decorate my bedroom. not only are they very talented, each in their own right- they are task oriented, perfectionist, on time, on schedule, all of the crews for painting and electrical were coordinated and overseen by MaryJo and all of her vendors were polite, timely, and everyone cleaned up after themselves..... I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. Hiring CC design/Cooper's Creations is money well spent.

First let me start by saying...CC Design Atlanta Rocks!!! Mary Jo is so so so so understanding...so accommodating, so respectful and beyond helpful. She comes in prepared to hit the ground running...and mine, does she run. She is help as many places as your time allows. She is efficient, works through the process fairly quickly, while still giving a weird sense of undivided attention to every part of your home. Her idea for our foyer totally me off guard and was so ingenious. Started working on those plans right away. Still in the process of completing her suggestions...and she still went above and beyond after her appointment was over by verifying the choices we had to move forward with. Obviously i'm a fan, but unfortunately she's not close enough for it to be profitable for her to continue to serve my side of the State, but I sure wish it was. Have you paper and pen ready when she walks in and you will be glad you booked her!!!

Mary Jo was a huge help and made good use of the scheduled two hours. She actually helped me to see how certain pictures looked better together than others. She also gave me suggestions on how to arrange them. In addition, she offered me suggestions regarding furniture arrangement.

I wondered whether I could afford to hire Mary Jo Cooper, but as it turned out, I couldn?t afford NOT to hire her. I was in a serious bind with my home.? The housing market for my area had not yet recovered, and while my mortgage was not underwater, the current value of my home was still tens of thousands of dollars under what I had paid almost 15 years ago.? Then, to compound the problem, my home was damaged and required extensive repair.? Oh, and, did I mention that I needed to sell my home within the next year? I was overwhelmed trying to determine what needed to be done in order to repair my home and renovate for sale, but still minimize further financial loss.? So, I called Mary Jo. Mary Jo had requested that I complete an assessment prior to her visit so that she was prepared to meet my needs.? From the moment she arrived, Mary?s ideas and recommendations flowed at about 25 per minute.? I was taking notes as quickly as possible, but barely kept up.? I quickly learned that much of the task list that I had established for preparing my home for sale was misguided.? Mary Jo suggested many far less expensive ways of updating my house for the younger and trendier demographic that is purchasing in my area.? What I truly loved about her style was that she is very specific.? She didn?t suggest color families for paint ? she provided manufacturers and precise paint codes.? She didn?t tiptoe when my ideas didn?t work ? she quickly indicated that they wouldn?t meet my objectives and recommended alternatives.? By the time Mary Jo left, I felt that I had a quite workable plan of action established. And then, things changed.? The timetable for selling my house was extended by several years.? While I was quite happy with the plan we?d developed for selling, now that I'd be here longer, I wanted to modify the plan to better fit my style and taste while keeping the style within the taste parameters of the future purchasers, as well.? So, I called Mary Jo again. Round two was even better than the initial visit.? (I think that I failed to mention earlier that even though Mary Jo is focused on meeting your objectives, she is also fun!)? We?d covered a number of things in the first visit that didn?t need to be changed, so with this visit, we came up with a new wall and flooring plan, vetted my bathroom tile schemes, determined how to update my existing furniture, selected upholstery fabrics and discussed accessories/art.? I received so much more value from Mary Jo than I ever expected.? Her advice saved me from spending thousands of dollars that would not provide the return that I hoped to receive.? And even more importantly, for the first time in years, I am excited about my home again.? I?ve begun to implement our plan and can?t wait to see the final product!? Thank you, Mary Jo!
