Description of Work: Services were as outlined in special Angie's List promotion. She gave some good ideas but her paint picks did not work out once I tried paint samples. Another designer provided color picks that worked perfectly. Design is very personal so this designer may be perfect for other customers.

Description of Work: Mrs. Cooper helped us to brainstorm ideas for some remodeling projects we are thinking of doing, and she was full of great ideas (in terms of materials to consider using, ways to solve problems, etc.)! She also helped us pick exact paint colors for nearly every room in our house! She was great!

Description of Work: I purchased a two hour color consult from Mary Jo to help me with color choices to paint the interior of my home. I loved working with her and she was so helpful and easy to work with. I have since had the house repainted with the colors that she helped me choose and I am so happy with the outcome. This was by far the best 125$ that I have ever spent. Thank you so much for all your help.

Description of Work: I had a wonderful experience with Mary Jo Cooper who is the owner of Cooper's Creations. I spoke with her about my need to completely furnish my 86 year old mother's new apartment in an assisted living facility. I had four weeks in which to accomplish this! Mary Jo explained that it could take six to eight weeks after an order to have the furniture delivered. She took her time to explore other options with me and she seemed genuinely interested in helping me solve the problem; however, nothing seemed to be the solution. At that point, I didn't know what to do. To my surprise, Mary Jo called me the next day. Apparently, she had experienced a similar situation with her own mother and said she had been thinking about how to help me. She emailed photos of furniture that she had in her showroom in hopes that those pieces of furniture would be appropriate for the new apartment. I received the photos within minutes after speaking with her. The most amazing part of this story is that this would have been a very small project for her compared to the large scale projects she usually undertakes. I suspect most designers would have never given my need a second thought; afterall, this wasn't going to be a huge money making job for her. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Mary Jo and Cooper's Creations for any designing needs you may have. Mary Jo is not only a professional but she is a professional with a heart.

Description of Work: How many designers can you contact on a Saturday and find them answering their phone and delightfully giving you expert advise. Mary Jo and I worked together back in September of 2009. She did a great job to make my home beautiful. Today, I needed advise on curtains, hanging them properly etc. Mary Jo answered all my questions and gave me some ideas which will save me a great deal of money. I have a Tuscon style design in my living and dining room. When in doubt, call Mary Jo! She is creative, works within your budget, and is consistantly on time and follows through regarding all of your questions and workmanship. MaryJo is a blessing!
