We've been using Casteel Heating and Cooling for several years now, they have always been very thorough, professional, and most of all HONEST!! I can't stress enough how many companies are out there who just try to rip customers off by doing sub standard work, it's such a pleasure to know that I can trust Casteel to always tell us the truth and and always be professional. The annual maintenance price we paid for our two systems is $218, which is very very reasonable.

All fine with both furnaces. I like that my furnace maintenance check is sent via email to me.

Casteel has installed 2 ac units and 1 furnace. They have also done 2 yearly services on all my units 1 furnace that is not one they installed. They are always very professional and on time. I will use them again.

Ryan Huprich, the System Design Mgr, was prompt, professional, courteous and helpful in delivering a recommendation and proposal while here on the visit. Casteel office communicated professionally to schedule the job at my request within 3 days. Bernard & Chris Rice called to get permission to come early which I was happy to oblige them. They came on time and were professional, courteous and efficient in replacing my furnace in just over 2 hrs. It was a 30 year old unit they were replacing with very little clearance but they knew what they were doing and did it quickly and were on their way. Bernard was very helpful in answering my questions about the furnace and the programmable thermostat. I'm looking forward to many years of trouble free furnace service - perhaps another 30 years. I used them three months ago. They were terrific. The customer service and pricing stood out. They surveyed us and asked us loads of questions. They were great communicators. Everything was top marks with them.

The service was great, the technician was very pleasant the only thing I was displeased with is the arrival of the service tech my appointment time was for first call 8 AM to 8:30 AM he didn?t call until 8:45 AM to say he was on his way it would be about 15 minutes to arrive. I am not sure of the time he arrived but at 9:23 AM I called my job to say I would be later than I expected he left at 9:37 PM.

In a word - AWESOME!!!! These guys are some of the very best. They service my rental property and my personal home. They've got customer service down to a science and their level of professionalism is top-notch from the adminstrative staff, to the field technicians to management! If you are looking for a company that prides itself on good old fashion values then this is the company for you. They will see that you are taken care of from beginning to end and sincerely do it with a smile. They get the "golden rule" and they apply it.

We found mold in our downstairs Duct work during a routine maintenance of the system. The mold started at the coils and moved out into the duct work. Because the original system was 25 years old, we decided to replace 100% of the duct work in the house, along with 100% of the HVAC components in use. Our house has two sets of HVAC units (upstairs and downstairs). Quote 1 from Casteel had everything we needed and a total price to get started; however because we needed to do financing, we got stuck in a rat hole with Wells Fargo (don't ever use them for Home Equity Line of Credit), and ultimately we lost 4 weeks to getting the financing approved using a different bank. This was no fault of Casteel's. During the middle of our gap waiting for financing, the outside unit for the upstairs actually stopped working and we had to pull the trigger on the upstairs work so we decided to replace the HVAC units, but we had to skip the upstairs duct work until the financing could be completed. At this point we had 4 quotes from Casteel where we had asked them to carve the work into various smaller projects. I would call this the "what do you need now" vs "what can be done later" I did a poor job of reviewing the 4 quotes, and when we needed to pull the trigger on the upstairs unit replacement, quote 5 was generated for that specific work, which turned out to be a subset of the main job. The techs showed up, we started reviewing the job in high level but did not review the specific equipment being put in. The techs did their job and at the end of the job, it came time to review the actual invoice and pay the bill and this is when I noticed the equipment was different than expected from previous quotes. We ended up getting a single-stage A/C and a dual-stage furnace for the upstairs unit. It was the right size for the house, and the equipment was installed correctly; however I wish I had reviewed the specifics of the work before it had started and perhaps I would have ended up with matching the dual-stage furnace with a dual-stage A/C. As a result of this confusion, I had to have the Casteel rep back out to our house to help us sort out the 5 quotes, sort out the remaining work, and ultimately give us Quote number 6. By this point in the process our financing had come through and we were able to go ahead and pull the trigger on the remainder of the job. Regarding Part 1, Job number 81589, Chris and Isaac were the two techs who showed up. They were efficient, professional, they helped us with the install, and I felt they went above and beyond to make sure the install was done successfully. I highly recommend Casteel based on this job, and am looking forward to getting the second part of this work completed very soon.

I used them for 10 or more years and they were very good. I switched to another company because I got a flat rate for them to do whatever I want. I haven't done a cost comparison because the other company is doing 10 different appliances. The last time I used them, they gave me a better deal than the company I switched to. They were about half of what the other company wanted. They were knowledgeable and pretty responsive. The only reason I switched was because I got a deal. I might end up going back. They were good and I was happy with them. That sort of service is expensive. They are probably a little bit high from center but they do a good job. They did the zoning in my house. They give a block of time and come within that time frame. They know their stuff and they never sent anybody out here that was an idiot.

I've used Casteel in the past and was very happy with the service. So naturally, when I started having problems with my system not cooling I gave them a call. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able get me on the schedule for the next day, as they are usually booked out by a week or more. The technician arrived on time, was very friendly and professional, wore the usual shoe covers, and kept me apprised of what he was doing. He explained that because my system was old and leaking Freon, that it would most likely need to be replaced next year. He suggested that I recharge the Freon and start making plans to replace the system next spring. I agreed, and he proceeded to add four pounds of Freon to my system. I paid (their prices are average), and he was on his way in about an hour. A few hours later, I noticed that the system still wasn't cooling correctly. It was after hours, so my call was answered by Casteel's answering service. The service took my info and a description of the problem. A woman for Castell contacted me about an hour later. So far so good. Shen then explained that they do not warrant Freon recharges, and that they would be happy to come take another look the next day for an additional service charge. While I do understand that they can't warrant Freon on a leaky system for months or even weeks into the future, I was shocked to learn that Casteel was unwilling to stand behind work that was obviously not performed properly or adequately tested before the technician left the premises. It's also worth mentioning that the woman I spoke to referenced several times the warranty disclaimer that I signed and the technician's explanation of that disclaimer. First of all, nothing about the paperwork was explained to me. Secondly, Casteel has moved to an electronic document system that uses a tablet computer. The way that this system is designed, it's not possible to see any of terms that are on the receipt. The technician swipes your credit card and hands you the tablet to sign with your finger. The signature line takes up the entire viewport of the tablet. You can't see anything else, assuming that there's actually anything else there to see. You don't have the luxury of inspecting the paperwork before you sign as you did when they were using the older carbon-paper documents. Frankly, it's hard to believe that this isn't intentional. The bottom line is, Casteel does not stand behind their work. My advice: go elsewhere. There are literally hundreds of other HVAC companies in the metropolitan Atlanta area. There's no reason to monkey around with people who are just looking to make a quick buck.

Turns out the unit only needed a new filter. Technician replaced it as well as checked freon level ( none needed). I had a follow-up question about the unit that I called their office about. The receptionist checked with the operqtions mgr and promptly called me back with the answer. Very polite ann professional.

They were middle of the pack when it comes to pricing. They are one of the most honest companies we have dealth with. They stand by their work. They are very repsonsvie to our calls. Their technicians are very professional and nice. They even take their shoes off or wear protective booties while doing their work.

Everything went so well. Brian and Joe arrived right on time and worked straight through til 1:30. Brian explained the digital thermostat and took me up to the attic to see the furnace and explain what they had done. They even fixed a couple of things that had nothing to do with the furnace or A/C at all. Very clean, very thorough and conscientious of my home. They were all very professional and it was very obvious their knowledge and capability were outstanding. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Both representative that came to our home were on time, knowledgeable and professional. They informed us of what needed to be done and provided pricing and options. Everything has worked very well since we received the service.

The project was handled in a very professional manner from the initial cost estimate, design, installation and follow up. This is the third system Casteel has installed at our home and I have always been very satisfied with the results. I have recommended Casteel to several of our neighbors who to my knowledge have also been pleases with the service provided.

I called Casteel around 7:00 pm on Monday night and they were able to fit me in the following day between 12:00 to 6:00. I wish the window wasn't so long since I had to leave the office and take unexpected time off, but I understand it is hard to plan out how long each repair visit will take. They do guarantee an on-time arrival for the first appointment of the day. I called at 11:00 to get a sense of my visit order and they let me know it would be nearer the middle of the window, so I didn't have to rush home to be there at noon. They also called 30 to 45 minutes before the repairman's arrival. Marcus showed up on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I renewed my maintenance plan, which waived the visit fee and also gave me a nice discount on the parts / repair work costs. Marcus took about 4 hours to complete the work since he had to go pick up the part in Atlanta rush hour traffic. The work was done professionally and I'd highly recommend Casteel and Marcus to anyone.

We have had Casteel's for quite a few years now and they do amazing work. We have called them for problems with our A/C units and Freon is always put in at no cost. Wonderful technicians

Installation process was thorough & efficient. Technician provided clear explanations of the work he performed.

It was an excellent service. I highly recommend them. He was on time and the technician was extremely thorough and informative. He was very polite and mannerable. He even put coverings on his shoes when he came in the house.

I signed up for twice annual service to my unit. The service man showed up to look at the unit. Things that I expected to be included (like cleaning the unit) were not. Then, I felt like I was getting a pitch from a bad used car salesman about all of the other services they could offer. When I told them that my warranty company was going to pay for the repairs that were required, they did not want to talk to me any more.
