Casteel sent out a sales rep that went through all options from repair, partial replacement, and total replacement including the outside unit, the heater/ac/blower, cut a return to ensure appropriate ventilation, and installed a new thermostat. The quoted a price which I researched and it was the best of the three companies asked to quote. The set a time, arrived 10 minutes early, placed floor coverings throughout the house to protect the hardwood floors and carpeted areas. Changed out the equipment with top of the line Trane equipment, cleaned up without even scratching a wall, and then went through the operation and programming. The said it would be a 7 hour job and it was to almost the minute. The service technicians were courteous and professional. I was impressed with their efficiency and professionalism working in a hot attic and tough conditions. They will be my HVAC folks for life.

I have a 25 yer old ac system. Casteel has been helping me keep an eye on it without trying to sell me a new one every time they come out to do preventative maintenance. I'm very happy with Casteel and my old ac unit!

They are timely and have fairly good pricing. They also are thorough and complete.

Rep did a thorough site visit, prepared a detailed cost estimate and then explained the estimate. He also provided alternatives.

We've used Casteel for several years to do maintenance on our furnaces and A/C, and even recently used them for some plumbing work (after I drove a nail through a copper water line). They are on the expensive side, but I'm generally a believer in you get what you pay for. They are always very professional, and I've felt they are honest and thorough in the work they do. You can certainly find cheaper places (I have), but I feel the piece of mind you get from using a reputable company is worth paying a premium for. The only complaint I have is with their service windows. They typically give us a 4-5 hour window to arrive, which I feel is a bit unrealistic. They do at least give a call ahead, so you can jet back home to meet them.

The service appointment went very well. The repairman arrived on time was very polite and professional. He explained what was wrong and how to repair the issue. He even put on shoe covers before he entered my home. Casteel provides excellent service.

For a while, I was very pleased with them. I think sometime last summer, somebody came by. I had the understanding that they would be checking twice a year to make sure that the heating and cooling was working properly but I didn't hear from them this winter. The only thing I disliked was the man that they sent over was very inconsistent, his name is Charles. I have no problem with the price they charge; they've been coming for over two years now. I am not displeased with them until they stopped coming over. They always called before they send somebody over and whoever was coming always showed up very close to the time they said.

The service was great Tony had everything done in about one and half hours.

I called Monday for an estimate, the agent arrived on Tuesday and gave me a better price than 2 other companies. The techs arrived Wednesday morning and installed it. Works great.

I have never had a problem with any work from Casteel. They always make sure that I am completely satisfied.

A Casteel serviceman came to my home late afternoon the day before Thanksgiving to check the non-operating furnace. He was very rude, complained about the traffic and the fact that my home was not in his typical work area (he didn't know why they sent him), he had already worked a long day. After a very short inspection he said it needed an expensive panel which was not in stock, had to be ordered and was going to be expensive. At the same time he also rudely pointed out, that two items (position of wires) were out of code as if it was my fault...said it had to be addressed as well. Again very rude, said that it was going to be expensive. He then proceeded to try to sell me a maintenance contract. Due to his rudeness, I paid the trip charge and asked him to leave. He stormed out without putting the furnace back together. Of course no one could be contacted on Thursday. I contacted Casteel after the holiday and complained of rude representative....no response.

They arrived early and worked quickly. They made every effort to keep things clean. Polite gentlemen. Thank you Bernard and Chris

A serviceman came to my home October 31 to check my furnace. He said everything was fine. I was charged $222.00. When he left the furnace sounded very loud. I truly believe he broke something and left. Thanksgiving day I woke up to a very cold house. When I checked there was no heat. Of course no one could be contacted, since it was a holiday. When I called back Friday, there was still no response. Saturday, I called again, and left message. Finally, they sent someone. The serviceman said I needed a part, but it would be at least a week. The furnace was installed by Casteel in October, 2008. The serviceman was very rude when I said I didn't understand how something wore out that soon. He told me I had bought the cheapest furnace they offered. That was not true, and I proved it by showing him the paperwork for the installation of a new furnace. I had purchased the one under the very best. He didn't apologize. It took them over a week to fix my furnace.

We used them extensively in the house and it went very well. It was a good experience. We looked around and thought their price was reasonable. They did the work quickly and it was very professional. We have not had any issues.

Excellent! Tommy was quick, efficient, courteous and thorough, as always. He was gracious in putting up with our one year old puppy who is learning to greet people at the front door. Tommy explained everything when he'd finished and we are good to go until spring. I love that I can anticipate the quality of service from the Casteel team. He was here from 10:25 - 11:10 am - you just can't beat that.

Shawn was on time and very professional. He performed maintenance on both my systems and walk through the results with me. All the details was on an IPAD and he sent me the results and invoice to my email. Before he left, I asked him about their UV light system and his thoughts on the product. He gave it high praises because he uses the same UV light in his home due to allergies. He also mentioned the UV light was on sale. I jumped on the chance to have it installed since i wanted a UV light installed for several years now but felt the price was a bit high. Overall, Casteel and their employees are awesome and I plan to do business with them soon.

As always, Casteel was on-time and efficient in tuning up our furnaces each year. Our #1 criteria is to complete everything that needs to be done and to identify any potential problems that might occur in the future. Both furnaces were fine. They did identify a problem with the reserve tank on our gas water heater (it was completely full of water). We are thankful that he identified that problem even though it wasn't really a heater/furnace problem. That's exactly why we like Casteel. They have identified potential issues before it really does become a real problem. I'm lucky to have found a good vendor such as Casteel.

Techs are always helpful and explain what they are doing. They don't try to push up-sells

Professional and courteous to the max. Not only would I use the company again, I would schedule around Tommy's schedule.

The service tech, Nathan, checked heating units and replaced filters. This is the 3rd time he has been to my house. He is very friendly and explains all the details to me.

We have used Casteel Heating & Cooling several times in the past and, as you can see here, we went back to them. They installed a new furnace several years ago and after a routine check, they determined that the return system was insufficient. The enlarged two returns and added a third, all at no cost to me. The crew, Jusus & Hilario, were totally professional and courteous. They did a great job, in a timely fashion, and left my house clean. Two days ago Matt, a Casteel plumber, removed two old water heaters and installed a new one. He did a great job and, like every Casteel professional we've worked with, did his job in timely fashion, was totally professional, and left our house/storage unit clean. Above & beyond...

All work was done thoroughly and professionally. I have confidence that my heating units will serve me well this winter.
