Made a recommendation to have the county look at it first. Sure enough a root was blocking the county portion of the line so they fixed it.

Inspection was fine. Very minimal and they did not do the work in completion as the ad described. Their report on the inspection with bush-league and did not include the pictures taken. I requested the complete inspection report 3 times and never received it.

He did a great job. Prompt and efficient service. We are enjoying the cool temps in our house.

It was a yearly plan. It was $200 for the plan but we only pay that in the spring of each year and it covers the fall. They show you, not only do they discuss it with you, but they show you as well. And then they make the recommendations in an email later to follow up with. They are not pushy at all. They let you know the ones that are urgent, and the things they recommend that might be best to go ahead and do but it's not going to harm anything. They said on our unit last year that it's not functioning 100% but they would recommend you need a new unit soon, but it's not imperative that we do it today.

I have two air conditioning units and a heating unit as well. I am on a yearly service plan with them.

Service technician was ugly to inspection authorities and refused to correct an improper install. The technician was terrible

In the fall of 2016 we signed up for a service contract with Casteel Heating and Air. Our units were old, but we were hoping they could extend them a few more years. On their first visit the technician was very concerned with a few things about our furnaces and went so far as to tell my wife that he would not be comfortable with his children sleeping a house with these units. His primary concerns involved a few safety measured had been bypassed over the 20 years these furnaces had been running. We had Casteel out the next day to give us quotes a new units, but we also had two other smaller companies give their opinions on the existing furnaces. Both of those companies said the furnaces, while old, were absolutely fine. Even with the bypassed safety features, neither company felt there was any danger to anyone in the home. While I hope the Casteel technician was doing his best to look out for us, his comment about the safety of our children could have easily been taken as an attempt to scare my wife into a major purchase. Since this was our first experience with Casteel, we went with the opinions of the two smaller companies - who we had a relationship with and trusted from previous visits. Both furnaces held up just fine over the winter. Just be aware that Casteel may bring up smaller items that other technicians may not think are quite as serious.

He cleaned up after himself and he was professional. Service wise they were an A. We would use them again.

The tech was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He was thorough. I recommended them to my neighbor who needed their AC fixed.

Great. The service technician, Michael, was very prompt and professional. He thoroughly explained all the work he did and gave me a chance to ask any questions I had. I would hire them again for sure!

I thought it was just a matter of replacing the faucet but the Casteel plumbers had to cut into the wall to get to the pipe. I didn't expect this invasive step but this was the master bath and I just needed to get it repaired. Casteel sent a plumber and an assistant. Both guys were professional and courteous. Plumbing is just so expensive.

We have a contract with them. We bought the contract for them to come out twice a year, so he didn't charge me for the visit. He just charged me the $178 or something for the two visits; so it was included in the one he came and it included one more that he will come back in the summertime for the Fall. They're always great. We've used them before. They actually have appointments, so they let you know that they're on their way; there's not like a four hour window which is really a big deal so you don't waste half a day waiting for somebody. We've used them before and they've just always been guys that are very honest and thorough, and they have good follow-up from their company. They're really not overpriced; they're just not the cheapest guy in town, but you know, you get what you pay for. We've only used them for heating and air, and they've been with us probably for the last three years or so. We're down to maintenance and not repairs anymore. It's all good.

Very very well! I've used them multiple times and each time they are outstanding! I would definitely recommend them to others. Their techs are very qualified and knowledgeable.

Their response time is very good. They are the most pleasant people. From the initial installers to the person who sold it. They are just really pleasant and professional. You feel really comfortable with them in your home. Whenever they come out I am alone and I feel very comfortable.

In other words, it's kind of a complicated unit. It's goal is to keep it within about 2 degrees of the same temperature in each room on the main level. So you don't have those hot spots and cold spots.

I had previously had five (5) electricians out to my home to trace an electrical problem and none were able to figure out what the issue was and one in fact caused another electrical issue. Mike from Casteel, arrived on time and assured me that if he couldn't find the problem and repair it, I wouldn't owe him anything. He not only found the issue that was a simple issue hidden behind a wall, but also pointed out a dangerous situation that was overlooked by inspectors, contractors, and the county. This problem could have easily cost us our lives because it was in a sauna room. When I told my neighbors, about Mike, they lined up wanting to talk with him and get his company's information. FANTASTIC! When it comes to my HVAC needs in my home, I will only use Casteel. Service technicians like Johnny are the reason why. Johnny is extremely professional, friendly and personable. He gladly takes his time to explain anything. He even took extra time to completely clean around the outside portion of my AC unit to make sure it will operate at its peak efficiency.

Great. After selecting them from 4 other bids, they installed the next day. I based my pool tiger bids from Angie's List. Eric the sales executive was the most professional of all. Duane the installer was one of the best I have ever had. Thourogh and kept me informed every step of way. His team was top notch as well.

We love the tech, Terry Lawson! We request him EVERY TIME. He is very honest and does an awesome job EVERY time. He inputs very detailed notes on the report we get at the end and we really appreciate that. We like that he's very professional but personable at the same time. The office staff is also VERY nice. We truly appreciate the AWESOME customer service we have received from Casteel over the past seven years.

Larry was a great tech - he was patient and answered all of my questions. He took the time to understand fully what I was asking. Price for 3 units is better than most of the competition I checked into.
