Casteel was able to arrive the next day despite being the hottest days in 2 years. I was kept well informed of the appointment, and was notified when the tech was in route. They even sent me a picture of the tech in advance. The uniformed tech arrived on time, looking like his shirt was freshly pressed at the cleaners. Very professional. After briefly looking at the system in the attic, we went outside to measure refrigerant pressures and motor amps. The refrigerant was quite low. The tech gave me the option to sign up for the annual maintenance service ( which includes a checkup in fall and spring) to get a discount on the refrigerant charge. The only slight negative was the tech did not acknowledge any benefit when I inquired about an Angie’s List discount. I called the office after the tech left, and they credited the Angie’s List discount.

Plumber never called to make an appointment.

Initially ok-However, the system was leaking badly. They did everything they could to get us up and running, but at that point it was just smarter to let them replace a faulty system. Casteel also made that as painless as possible. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I contacted Casteel on Sunday and received an emergency appt on Monday. Shane arrived promptly and I was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. However, when a part was required, something happened and it was not ordered properly. But when I called two days later and informed the staff that I had an elderly mother in a very hot house, they sprang into action, obtaining the part and fixing the AC that same day. They all took ownership and communicated with me very well, even offering emergency cooling units if needed. While things happen, it's how people respond that makes all the difference. I was impressed with the caring and professionalism of the entire team, including Shane, who continued to follow up. I would recommend this company and its people.

Excellent. Doug Davis was thorough and explained what the tune-up entailed, as well as answering some questions I had regarding self-installing an air filter. He was very patient and courteous.

We received excellent service from the Casteel technician, Chuck Sizemore. He arrived on time, was very professional and knowledgable. He inspected our AC unit, and was able to quickly diagnose and repair the issue. Chuck is a great representative of Casteel.

I had three Casteel Technicians out to my home and they were absolutely excellent. Their electrical department is by far the best in Atlanta!!!

This is a detailed review intended to give you an idea of the aweful plumbing services I received when I reached out to Casteel Plumbing. I had a bad flush valve/fill valve in the tank of my Gerber toilet, which caused one of the valves to slowly leak & make ungodful noises all throughout the day/night. Since I've moved into my home, I've tried & used Casteel Heating & Air to service my 2 HVAC A/C units. I was impressed with their timeliness & HVAC services so much so I used them twice a year [spring/winter]. I thought since their HVAC services was so good, I'd try their plumbing services after my toilet went bad. This was the worst mistake I could've made! Casteel came out in 7/20 to repair my toilet. Their plumber recommended I replace it for $850 including the cost of a "Glacier Bay" [THD] branded toilet. I gawked! When did installing a toilet cost $850?!?!?!? The Casteel plumber said they could rebuild the tank for $400. I still gawked, but decided that was much better than $850 & it would end my leak problem. Apparently, my Gerber toilet is top of the line because it was a dual-flush valve & to obtain those valve parts were considered 'special order,' so Casteel's plumber couldn't repair my toilet on his 7/20 visit because they'd have to order the parts & come back in a later visit. I was OK with this after still having to swallow the $400 price. I decided to give him a call 9/22 after deciding to replace my leaky toilet vs. rebuilding it. The valves could've been rebuilt vs. replacing the whole toilet, but my wife wanted a new one. Casteel's plumber calls me on 9/22 & remembers my toilet debacle, but admits his warehouse didn't order the parts for my toilet, so he'd have to go back & do that which would take 1-2 weeks. I'm like OK I went on vacation & followed up with Casteel upon my return & couldn't get the plumber or their manager/supervisor on the phone to check on the status of my ordered parts. Casteel's customer service SUCKS! They promise you a call back, then don't call back. I called Casteel each day Mon 10/5 thru Wed 10/7 with no return calls from Casteel. It was only after I demanded to speak with a supervisor on 10/7 (my 3rd call!) that I got a call from the plumber on 10/8. He offered to just install a brand new toilet for $550 & I would have to buy the toilet + pay $25 for removal of old toilet. On the same day, I reached out to Rashad Patterson (recommended by Nextdoor) & he said he can install for $150. On Sat 10/10, I purchased the toilet I wanted from Costco & he installed it within 1 hour on Mon 10/12. I can sleep better now without hearing that god aweful whining noise at night or remembering to turn off the water valve each night before bedtime. Casteel Plumbing really let me down & disappointed me to no end!! I'm pulling my Casteel HVAC business as well. I'm DONE with Casteel!!!!

HVAC technician showed up on time. He patiently answered all my curiosity questions about my HVAC units, freon mandates, servicing time frames, etc. I didn't feel rushed. My systems were in perfect condition he said so I felt relieved that they were being taken care of properly, and that I wasn't being taken advantaged of being a person who doesn't know anything about HVAC units and how to repair them.

My husband and I had to replace our plumbing and electrical systems in our home. Casteel did an excellent job redoing our systems. They sent very competent people to service our home. They were able to explain the process to us and make suggestions. I felt comfortable working with them and the price was affordable and reasonable. All of the work was completed in three days.

On time, efficient and quality work

It was excellent. The equipment is truly energy efficient . My electric bills in the summer always ran $400 to $500. The highest I have had (and I keep it very cool in my house) is $200. People polite and professional. Cleaned up. Explained all problems so that I could understand. Highly recommend.

I received a flyer for a promotional deal, for an air conditioner check up. After contacting Casteel, they did not have an open slot for scheduling this $39 special. They promptly extended the time to the following month. I received a date for a check up for 2 units. One was performed without a hitch, no worries. The other unit was not working at all, which was discovered after a check up, and they did not even charge me for the evaluation for the 2nd unit. They were prompt, courteous and professional. I then had to schedule a check up with my Homewarranty people for replacement. Casteel was terrific and I would use them again.

Casteel is the company I go to for all electrical and heating and air needs. Over the 25 plus years of owning our home we have dealt with many different companies. What keeps me coming back to Casteel is their outstanding professionalism. For example, like most companies they give you a window of hours they will be there but call you prior to arriving. When the arrive they are very polite and do their best to please and ensure you are pleased before leaving. They are reliable and should something not work properly after they leave the are prompt to come back. I recommend this company without hesitation.

The company as a whole was very professional. They are very customer oriented and let you know exactly what is going on, who will be your tech, updates on arrival and then the tech calls 30 minutes outside of arriving. Immediately covers were put on shoes, as not to dirty the carpet. The service tech explained everything to me and answered all questions I had. Did not rush to move on to the next job, he made sure everything was correctly done and I understood.

The Castell called before the scheduled appointment to let us know the technician was on his way. When he arrived he evaluated the A/C systems to determine was was required then discussed what need to be accomplished. After approval he went about doing everything The technician was professional and courteous and respected our property by covering his shoes so he did not get the house dirty or scratch floors. One system need a part that was not on hand which was under warranty. The part was ordered and installed at a later date.
