Technicians Steve and Tim performed an excellent installation. They explained every step of the process and kept me informed on their progress. Provided a thorough in-depth explanation of new units being installed and how they operate. All questions were adequately addressed and they cleaned up when finished. Kudos to Casteel for focusing on technical competence and customer satisfaction!

I was not sure what was wrong with my unit. Bruno took his time checking every part of my unit, even after he had replaced my fuse. He had fixed the problem AND still continued to look/make sure nothing else was wrong with my unit. Thank you Bruno!

Service was great from my first call through the whole process everyone was kind, friendly, professional and the new unit was installed withing 24 hours.

Original panel had internal arcing at aluminum feed bus-bar. Panel was fire hazard!!! Henry did total panel replacement. ( I have experience in this type of work, as part of my job [retired/disabled] was to oversee x-Ray/CT/MRI system installations) Henry is a knowledgeable and professional worker. He came prepared and "had all his ducks in a row". I watched him for a few minutes and decided he needed no overseeing. I would check in once in a while to see if he needed anything. Each time I would note his progress and mentally applaud. We ended up with a breaker box with a lifetime warranty and $75,000 surge protection warranty.

My Tech (Ben) arrived on time and had all his COVID gear on ready to go to work. He performed his checks inside first and explained everything was working well. He then went outside to perform his checks there as well. Once again and fortunately, everything went well there. He did do something I was impressed by because I’ve never seen it before. I heard water running and asked myself what would necessitate him needing water. Well, he was cleaning the unit and all the vents around the compressor and condenser. He said often times people would look at the vents around the condenser that are easy to see and if they looked okay, then presumably everything else was. He was actually getting the vents that had downward projection, so if you don’t get on your knees to look upward, you can’t see how dirty it really is and the problems it has potential to create. I’ve had several houses and several a/c systems, not mention AC Techs, but I never saw anyone go to these extremes to make sure my units were in proper order. When he finished, we did the paperwork and I complimented him on his efforts and workmanship.

My rating is based primarily on my interaction with the technician, Twuan Maddox, not the company itself. Twuan was excellent in his knowledge, expertise and professionalism and got the work done in a timely manner. I was a bit upset with the company as I repeatedly requested a written quote and repeatedly called to inquire about the status of scheduling the repair. In the end, Twuan got the job done Thanks, Mr. Maddox!

Sammy was Great he was friendly, helpful and professional. I enjoyed talking with him. My only complaint is a corporate one. I asked on the phone before booking and was told I qualified for a 15% military or Senior discount. Sammy attempted to apply the discount but your system would not take it. As a Retired Veteran I look for providers that support my service and as a result I may not call Casteel again unless they are a last resort. BTW the final result was not an A/C issue but a Power Issue.

It went very well. Since a prior water heater had flooded my basement, I wanted a pan installed this time with lines running to the outside. Due to the way my house had been added onto, it was a bit challenging to get that part done. Before starting that part, Keith warned me that he would need to open a few parts of the wall, which I was okay with. He did a great job and did everything to my satisfaction. I now have piece of mind that I won't have to worry about a flood due to a water heater. The price was reasonable and I would definitely use them again.

Anthony explained in detail how to reset should this occur, again. Existing customer been using Casteel since the 1990s...excellent company...excellent customer service as always.

All appointments and services were a amazing. This company makes sure to educate you BEFORE you make any decisions. No pressure at all. When they came to install the guys were absolutely amazing they made sure we were updated every step of the way. When they ran into a snag they figured it out. Although the installation took much longer than expected, which was NOT their fault, they did not leave until everything was performing perfectly. I would definitely recommend!!!

It went fantastic. I called mid-morning in the middle of July for an issue with the a/c not working and the fan constantly running. I was able to get a confirmed appointment for the next day but also went on the standby list for that day. I did not really expect to get anywhere on the standby list since is was peak season. But, to my delight, I received a call at 4:00 pm that a tech was available and on the way. Awesome! Kris, the tech, identified the issue within 5 minutes (a part he had on the truck) and was already aware of my warranty coverage. He replaced the part and checked everything else in less than 30 minutes. He was personable, professional, patiently answered my questions and shared his knowledge with me. It was very obvious to me that both Casteel and Kris were highly motivated to make sure I had a great customer service experience and I did. Awesome job Casteel and Kris! Thank you.

Downside first - My frustration was booking an appointment online for Monday from 9-12. At 11am I called and was told that the first available appointment was Thursday from 12-4. No apology for the oversight or anything. Not happy. The tech was running late and could not arrive until 5:30. Not happy. But Ricardo was wonderful. He solved the problem quickly, gave us an overview of the issue and the maintenance program (which was a no brainer and saved money), checked to ensure the temperatures were going down, and even hosed off the unit from the rain kicking up mud on it. Ricardo couldn't have done anything more or better than he did with our service.

It was easy to schedule an appointment and the office kept me updated on the ETA of my technician. Benny arrived on time and with all the necessary equipment. He did a thorough inspection of my heating and cooling systems. He was very knowledgeable and explained his findings so that I was thoroughly informed. He made some recommendations but didn’t pressure me to make a decision right away. I will definitely use them to make the repairs.

Only got a quote on part of the work I said I wanted. So He just left. Why respond to me if you couldn't do but part of the job.
