Matt did a great job explaining the options for me so I could determine the best option for my situation. He is very personable & professional. When he came out to do the whole home power surge package he truly did an amazing job! He turned the power back on a couple times to allow me to prepare food for my elderly mother. Matt is very knowledgeable & able to explain in easy to understand terms. He exemplifies your motto of “we will take amazing care of you”

Jason quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem quite satisfactorily and there was no charge to us. It required the addition of another transformer for one per device. The installer had tried to run both devices (an ionizer and a UV) from one transformer. These devices are helpful in removing viruses from the HVAC system so this repair was very important to me.

The whole job was done with professionalism. Josh and Matthew were on time and finished as promised. They kept the area clean and noise very low. Spent time explaining the system. Very happy.

I can’t say enough great things about Casteel for all the services they provide. But, for this post specifically, we moved into a home just over 1 year ago knowing the system was very old (1994) and could have issues sooner rather than later. A recent service visit from Casteel validated that not only was our system old, but operating inefficiently and under capacity. We had a Steve follow up with us later that same day who analyzed our current system and calculated that it was under capacity. The home, when built, did not have a finished basement which, when added later prior to our occupancy, simply tapped into the existing system resulting in doubling the space the initial system was not rated to handle. Steve designed for us a new system sufficient for our needs and at 3 price-point options. We elected to do a complete replacement. Though that option was the most expensive, it was attractively discounted. We still got a great deal, a 10-year warranty, plus 2 years semi-annual service check ups. The installation team arrived on time as scheduled led by Kyle and another Steve, plus several other team members to install our new HVAC and heat pump. They dropped tarps within the interior of our home from used exterior doors to the basement and attic work locations. They did an excellent and professional installation to include upgrading to current code, Re-plumbing all lines, installing new thermostats, and adding a return air vent in the basement which had not been done when the basement was finished. They worked long and hard all day long, installation is clean, neat, and professional in appearance, and cleaned up afterwards exceptionally. I commend each and every one of them for a job well done! I highly recommend Casteel for all your heating, air, plumbing, electrical needs. I have used Casteel for all of these services because each and every time Casteel is punctual, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, neat, and highly-competent providing their services. This is why I continue coming back to Casteel.

Chuck Sizemore was awesome. Very knowledgeable and went over and beyond just fixing our immediate issue. I really appreciated his honesty and integrity in identifying some other items he recommended be addressed. ( under Warrany I might add) It’s comforting to know there are still people of integrity who put the customer first and take the time to make sure the customer is satisfied. Jamie and Jonathan did a fantastic job! They were friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. When we called Casteel and explained the work that needed to be done, the response time was immediate. Jamie came out the next day, looked at what needed to be done, gave the price that was comparable to the budget, and he and Jonathan completed the work the next day. This was an all day/long day job. An attic system and crawlspace system were removed and replaced with new, modern and technologically advanced systems. The crew was very professional and knowledgeable and worked hard. No slackers here. The crew chief explained everything in the system and process. Reviewed all with me at the completion. Trained me on the new digital thermostat applications. Answered all questions. Was very knowledgeable, cordial and courteous. Canvas drop cloths along their work path. Cleanup was meticulous. Previously, I have used this company to install a new water heater; plumbing issue at the kitchen sink; and annual HVAC maintenance service. Every experience with them has been this positive. They all seemed to take pride in their work...a job well done.

Jamie quickly assessed and also provided guidance based on current code. Ended up having to replace 2 valves as one to hot water heater was failing. Jamie worked independently, communicated well, and finished quickly - then walked through everything to verify. Reinforcing my choice to use Casteel for plumbing issues in all my rentals and personal properties.

The whole system was aging and we knew it needed to be replaced. We had used Casteel before and as always it was a great experience.

I paid for a technician to come to my house to tell me they cannot service my hot water tank and water filteration system because they didn't install them. I think this is a money making scam because they are not telling customers the real truth when they are making appointments.

Daniel found cracks in the burner tubes, and showed me them, meaning it's not going to last much longer. It's a very old furnace so not surprising. He suggested getting quotes from Casteel as well as others dealers for a new system (the A/C is very old too). Very knowledgeable and friendly technician.

Terrible! I knew my old water heater had a bad Gas valve. It was an 10 yr Whirlpool heater ams the pilot light would not stay lit. I called and they said they would send a professional Service Technichian out to give me a free estimate. They sent a young guy out that I wasn't impressed with from the beginning. He stared taking out my ceiling tile in my livinging room and kitchen looking for a PRV valve after he check my water pressure going into my home. I asked him what did my water pressure have to do with bad gas valve? He replied nothing. Then he took some pictures and kept say I g he waa texting his boss. When he finally gave me an estimate, I said that was too much for me to afford. Then he acted like he was doing other work and did sime mire texting to his boss. He was going to give me a discount. I said he was still to high ans I had two other companies coming to give me estiments. I could tell he didn't like that. He said he was going to try and light my heater manually. He broke the sight glass on the heater and couldn't get it to light. I told him he might aa well leave. All he was to do was come out and give me an estimate and that was it. He got mad and left. He did not put back my ceiling tile he removed and left the broke glass on the floor. I will never call Castell again.
