Great experience. Technician Chris Roth arrived on time and was very professional. He answered all of my questions. The job was completed to my satisfaction in a timely manner. Based on my experience Casteel is not a low cost provider, but they have been worth the price.

Technician went above and beyond to get the job done

Osman quoted our installation of a 20KW unit on Monday and then was here to supervise the installation on Wednesday morning. That quick turnaround was crucial, as we have three primarily work-from-home folks here and they had all already planned to be in-office that day. Osman made sure that we had no remaining questions before work began, and then they went to work. The crew was efficient - quiet, hardworking, and left a clean jobsite. One even asked for a whisk broom to finish sweeping a small area under the transfer switch in the garage when they were finished! Once the installation was complete, Osman walked us through a demonstration of a simulated power outage and it performed perfectly, so we feel well-protected for any outages in the future. Payment was collected only once we were fully satisfied with the work. Casteel was not our lowest quote for this job, but they were in the same ballpark and after our installation experience, we are very happy we chose them.

I couldn’t have asked for a better company or a better person than Henry to do the job. He was “over the top” in his attention to detail, his kindness, and his professionalism. Casteel had just completed some plumbing repairs and after a very scary experience with the company who had been servicing our AC/heat for years, we are now putting all of our electrical, plumbing, heating and air needs with Casteel. I cannot rate Henry or Casteel highly enough.7

Overall, the visit accomplished its purpose - the technician pointed out to me what was wrong with the AC unit, and quoted an exorbitant amount of money (over $200) to repair a cable, so I told him I would take care of that. Each company is entitled to its pricing, I get that. What bothers me is that just by looking at the unit, he said that the grills were super dirty, that I should purchase the $280 service to clean it, and that I should not buy products to do it myself because you need meters to do readings while cleaning it. He said he has been in the HVAC business for over 40 years, but when he left, I opened the unit, and put my flashlight inside pointing out, and could see the light very well, which tells me that it was not nearly as dirty as he said it was! Anyway, he used this as an excuse not to measure the compression rate of the unit .... and it worked! I let him go without finishing the job. However, next time I think I will call someone else! I do not think you should have someone so disingenuous as part of your team, but ... you decide!

Excellent.... wish it wasn't under warranty... the technician was willing to fix but didn't want to tamper with our warranty in any way....I respected that...

Great Experience all the way around. We had our A/C go out Sunday night. I went online and scheduled an appointment for Monday morning. The A/C repair Technician diagnosed all our issues and taught us more than we ever knew about the system. That same night we had a designer check out our home to figure out exactly what we needed. Tuesday afternoon we had a new unit installed and everything was taken care of. Stress free process all the way around. Everyone was very professional from Top to Bottom. Casteel is the best in the business! A++ Thank you for taking care of my family.

We tried fixing it over the phone but the technician needed to come to the home. he fixed it and explained what I should do in the future to fix it myself.

Glenn Voigt was my consultant and was absolutely spectacular from start to finish. He was on time, explained every detail and answered every question I asked. Over the next 2 days I got other quotes to compare and contacted Glenn again to compare and contrast as well as to discuss differences. He was more than willing to review and discuss and was easily the deciding factor on why I chose Casteel over the others even thought the overall price was significantly higher. His guidance and description (with no pushy selling) greatly increased my faith in the system and installation process and he was even able to walk me through getting setup with appropriate financing. Overall a great experience thus far (installation to come in the next few days!)

Daniel quickly came to our house and solved the electrical issue that we were having with our breaker box and microwave. I highly recommend him.

Sale was made previous day, and at 0830 the following day, the entire parade showed at, immediately began the work and within 5 hours the system is up and running, functioning well. All questions were answered. Site was left cleaner than previously. Good people, good crew, Earl, jr., Todd, and Lawrence (who first came to perform semi annual checkup) are all craftsmen who help make Casteel what it is today. Hugh Brown, the sales force marketer, was successful in convincing me to let Casteel do the job. I'm convinced. Come back and check with me in 5 or more years for updates.

Travis Shaw was the Casteel service technician that performed the hot water heater heater replacement in my condo unit. Travis arrived on time for our appointment, provided a quote and handled the replacement. Travis was respectful of my time and property and took the time to answer all of my questions. Ben, was very efficient, knowledgeable, and kept me informed of what he was doing, what he had found and if any problems were found he let me know what they were and how they were fixed. He was easy to understand and very courteous.

We purchased our AC/heating unit from Casteel three years ago, and trust the company. Michael came recently to service the AC unit, replacing the filter and checking out a sound I had heard that sounded like the fan motor laboring. It turned out to be laboring because of a dirty filter. He checked everything thoroughly, was knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.

Do not use them. Had these 2 furnaces installed in December and they have been out every weekend since then to try to get them to work right. They installed the wrong size on the main level then messed up my ductwork, moved thermostat leaving holes in walls then decided that it was the wrong size. Installed the right one and it is too noisy and still doesn't work right I will never use Casteel again.
