I was pretty happy with them. They come twice a year to check our furnace and air conditioner. Actually the first time we used them was three years ago when our furnace was not working. They came, fixed it and we kept them for routine maintenance since then. Originally our furnace didn't work so I probably went online and looked at some reviews. I called them and they had somebody out within two days. He suggested a plan and we then took up a plan. They've been out three times since then to do the routine maintenance. They always explain things and they where booties inside the house. The lady on the phone, her customer service is very good.

Originally used this company on recommendation by my sister for work on my AC last spring. Their service agreement was very reasonable, so I bought it for a year. All I had to pay was the cost of the new part. Very satisfied with the service ethics of this company. I will use them again and recommend them to my friends.

This is by far one of the best experiences I have had with a heating and cooling service provider. They're very customer service oriented. My home was built in 1987. The lower system is the original system and is on its last leg and my original purpose in calling them was to get a quote to replace the lower system. My systems needed maintenance anyway so I requested they provide the standard A/C system clean and check service for both systems. The lower system needed 3 lbs of refrigerant (there'e obviously a leak in the system). Once the refrigerant was replaced it worked great. The quote for the replacement of lower system included a credit toward the cost of refrigerant (if replaced in 30 days) which I found to be very fair and appropriate. Of course once the system started cooling, I allowed the 30 days to pass thinking that the system can limp along for one more season. If it's not broke (or at least if it's still working even if marginally) why fix it? The fix is temporary though and I fully expect to be calling them back to replace the system before next spring.

I called on Monday to schedule an appointment and was scheduled for the next day! Chris F. arrived on time within their 2-hour window (not a 4-6 hour one). He was very professional, thorough and did an excellent job of explaining what he found and answered all our questions honestly and clearly. We asked him to perform a pre-season check of our heating system and to also look at our air conditioning system and tell us if he thought it was the proper one for our home. He was able to give us very helpful information about our air conditioning units and what we can plan for in the future. We were so pleased with his professional manner we signed up for Bartlett's maintenance program which saved us money immediately and will also save us money on future service calls, if needed. We will definitely recommend Bartlett Heating & Cooling to our family and friends. On their "please hold" message on their telephone, they say they have "small town service in the big city" and they are right!

Chris was punctual, very professional and courteous. He explained as he went along. He was thorough and not in a hurry. I was very comfortable with his suggestions and never felt pressured to do anything extra.

Chris was very courteous, professional and prompt. Shannon coordinated well, and ciommunicated well. I have had service for many years that disappointed. BArtlett was a very pleasant change. Would use again, and contracted for 4x annual service, heating/air conditioning.

I spent roughly around $250 to $275. I had a furnace that was not working. They just ended up replacing an ignitor only. They were all very personable and very satisfactory. I am new to the property. I had to arrange a meeting with them. My schedule is a little bit erratic, but I was able to meet them. The guy who was there was pretty much friendly. They did the work very efficiently and quickly. The rating I have given them on their pricing is not necessarily a reflection on them. I don't think I was taken advantage of. I don't have other services to know whether the prices are appropriate or not. It seemed reasonable to me, but I don't have any comparison. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

Everything went well. They have good prices and good services.

I called 3 companies and felt the most comfortable with Mike at Bartlett hvac. I'm a stickler on design and details and that worked well with Mike as he was very thorough with his evaluation and plan of attack. Job went off without a hitch. If he can please me he can please anyone.

Everything went very well with this company. We were pleased with the work and would recommend them to friends. The only surprise was we were told that the technician who came to out to do the estimate would be the same person doing the work. This turned out not to be the case. But the work was done well, and we are pleased with the outcome. We also received a thank you note in the mail...a nice touch!

I was very happy with their work. The seller had not told me that they had a service contract with them to check the cooling, so I looked them up on the list and gave them a call. The person who I spoke to went on the computer and after checking something, told me that we still had the contract valid till the spring. So he came out and checked everything and repaired some very important parts of the system. I spent $361 on that work. I would recommend other members to use them.

They showed up on time, were very organized and did a neat job. They all worked hard and got the job done in one day. One of the other companies that gave us a bid said that the job would take at least two days. They put down covering over our carpet to protect it and left everything very clean. They were all really nice guys.

I checked several places for getting a check-up on our home A/C system. Bartlett seemed to have a good competitive price and professional sounding, so I tried them. One of their Service Techs, Jerry, arrived on time, as scheduled. He was very professional, right down to being very neat and clean with putting shoe "footies" on to keep things clean inside the house. He was very thorough in checking everything from the indoor furnace, blower, evaporator, to the thermostat (even changed out the AA batteries), along with looking very closely at the outdoor unit and giving it a thorough cleaning. Jerry was also very knowledgeable about other possible improvements and answered all my questions without any hint of being overly concerned with sales. The experience was excellent - so much so that we decided to sign a 1-year contract, which also provides for periodic checks on our A/C and heating system and reduced costs in the event of emergency visits, if needed. I would highly recommend Bartlett, based on my experience with them.

I originally started using Bartlett in 2008 after another provider mis-diagnosed a faulty A/C unit. Upon returning home on a Thursday in July, my A/C unit was no longer blowing cool air; called Bartlett at 10AM on Friday morning and they were on site by 2PM that same day. Technician performed diagnosis and recommended new A/C unit. After discussing (and debating!) the purchase of a new unit, I elected to purchase a new 3.5 ton Carrier unit from Bartlett. Due to work committments, I was not going to be in town for the proposed installation date, but they agreed to use a key to come in and install unit while I was gone. The installation was scheduled for the following Tuesday, and they called me upon completing work that day. When I returned on Wednesday, my house was just as I left it; locked up, clean...but much cooler! Overall I continue to be pleased with their service. They are always available, quick to answer the phone, and their response time has always been excellent. While I could have shopped around for a lower price, I was happier keeping the existing relationship with a provider I knew.

I was joyfully surprized at the rapid response, technical proficiency and what I considered extremely low price.

We were reasonably satisfied with them, their service and their pricing. They were very professional and gave us a very reasonable quote. They also gave us good advice and the best bid overall. It started out with a leak of the freon and we found out later there was damage to the freon line and we didnt really need a new unit. This damage occured because we had new floors installed previously, but since we wouldn't expect them to know that we don't blame them. I was impressed that they even had the county come out and check the work. We were happy with the work and even signed a service contract with them.

I chose Bartlett again after having a good experience the first time around. After my first experience with Bartlett, which I found through Angie's List, I received a thank you card in the mail, which was a nice touch. This company has good customer service as well as good technical service, and I definitely will be using Bartlett again.

Old furnace blower motor went out on Thursday evening. I called at 8:00 AM on Friday, Ray was here by 11:00 AM (on the coldest day of the year, so far). Was very thorough in describing the problem, and gave four options for me to consider, repair the old, and successive estimates for three replacement systems. By his demonstration and documentation, it was very easy to make a repair-or-replace decision. Rick, Jeremy, and Mike were at the house at 8:00 AM on Saturday, and did an outstanding, professional job in the replacement, and I was not charged "weekend premium" rates. Just an outstanding company. I don't think I would have been treated any better if I was replacing the mechanicals in a million-dollar mansion! Outstanding, outstanding service!!!

The service was great. The technician was on time and on task. When he arrived he got right to work. He was very courteous and professional. When he replaced the thermostat he walked me thought how to program its various modes and settings. This was the best HVAC service experience I have ever had. Shannon Bartlett personally sent us a card after the service thanking us for choosing Bartlett Heating and Cooling. That was a nice touch. Customer service is non-existent these days and it's nice to see a company that still cares about it's customer.

We called on a Friday morning and they were able to work us in that day. Jerry arrived more or less on time. He immediately started to work in the attic. Other A/C repairmen have asked whether we wanted a leak check done, but Jerry did not. He came back downstairs and told us there was a leak (we already knew that - in fact, I told them on the phone there was a leak). He then explained the tree options I had and I asked for a cost estimate. He went outside for a while and got on the phone to get accurate numbers. When he returned, I asked him to recharge the upstairs unit so we had A/C over the weekend while we had company; he did so reluctantly. Note: other A/C companies have recharged my unit with an entire cost of $150 rather than $200. I called back on the following Wednesday to let them know my choice, and they fit me in for the following Monday. A different crew arrived, a very friendly group and went to work immediately. The entire replacement took less than half an hour. The final invoice was for the incorrect amount, which I mentioned and they verified over the phone, giving me the correct cost. All in all, a pretty good experience (despite the cost).

They are a very nice, family-owned company. They were helpful in explaining the system to me and taught me how to look for things before any major damage could take place. This helps me to maintain the system between visits. Also, they were friendly to my children.

It took them two days to complete the work and they did it with no problems, even though it was cold outside. They were very good with helping us find an energy efficient unit. Our electric bill has decreased tremendously.
