I originally called the company when a small branch had fallen into the air conditioning unit, preventing the blades from turning, and causing the unit to overheat. They scheduled an immediate visit which was cancelled due to heavy rain. A rep from the company advised me to let the unit cool first then try to run it while I waited for the rescheduled appt. This is important because it shows that the company was more concerned about my coping with excessive heat rather than just stating that I needed a whole new unit. The visit became a maintenance one. I let the gentleman, Jerry, know that I needed to extend the life of the 13 year old unit if at all possible. He advised me that, although the capacitor was still functioning well, it was not at its optimum level of performance. I made the decision to replace it. At my request, Jerry did not hesitate to show me the parts and to teach me their functions. I also took advantage of the companies service agreement and coupon. I value companies where honesty , forthrightness, and concern for the client are demonstrated. I highly recommend this company as one which does not attempt to take advantage of its customers.

My air conditioning went out early Friday morning and the company I had used in the past could not come until later Saturday. I found Bartlett Heating and Cooling on Angie's List, called, and they promised to send a technician out that afternoon. The technician, Chris, arrived as promised and quickly diagnosed the problem. He replaced a capacitor and soon had the air conditioning working again. He explained that a new motor was needed to insure that the air conditioning continued to run properly. He ordered the motor and capacitor kit and returned Monday afternoon to finish the installation. Bartlett called me at work to give me time to get home before Chris arrived, thus minimizing the time I was away from work. The new motor was installed within an hour and I was able to return to work. Chris is the most knowledgeable technician we have had in our nineteen years in our home. He explained all the work thoroughly. Bartlett's service exceeded my expectations and I will recommend them to anyone needing air conditioning work.

I like their pricing and the service was easy to schedule. But, I didn't like their professionalism. I told them that it was my rental property and to only discussed the service inspection results with me but the service technician should have discussed it with the tenant instead of me.

We called in at about 12 pm on a Sunday because our AC stopped working and Chris was here by 3. He checked everything out quickly and even took his shoes off when he came inside without me asking (yay!). He diagnosed the problem and gave us options for repair or replacement. Once we decided to go with a repair rather than replacement (for our 17 year old unit) he was able to complete the job since they always have the parts on their truck. He was really knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and explained things when I wanted to know more.

Rick, the technician, was professional and straight forward. He offered options for replacement parts needed for an older unit and I could immediately hear and feel the improvement in the operation of the conditioners. I will certainly use Bartlett again.

The Tech identified the problem in about 5 minutes, replaced the part & the A/C unit is working great. Arrived the same day I called, very professional. There was a bit of upselling, but never pushy. Would definitely call Bartlett again.

The Bartlett technician who came to my house was professional, knowledgable, patient, and helpful. The heating units in my house are a mix of new and old part and equipment, so it's always worrisome that you might get a technician that can't handle it. Not the case with Barlett at all... had no problems diagnosing and fixing the issue in one call. Oh, and did I mention that they made it to my house two hours after my original call? They did, and no rush fee! I now use them for regular maintenance and couldn't be happier (unless they wanted to give it to me for free). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

they were running late, but called with an update. They had the unit done in less than 6 hours. They were very professional and did a good job of explaining how the new unit works. The systems has been running great with no issues! I am looking forward to a lower electric bill this summer!

I received a call from the main office to tell me that the service technician would be at my house in the next 20-30 minutes, which was within the time frame of the appointment (3-5 pm). Rick first replaced the filter in the furnace. Then he went outside to look at the unit. As he checked each element he explained what the he was doing and how each part checked out. He used our hose to rinse the A/C housing after applying a cleaner. Rick took care to replace the hose and turn off the water. When he was finished he told me it would take about 5 minutes to prepare the paperwork and asked if I would meet him in the garage to sign off on the service. Rick did supply a printout of the service performed.

They showed up during the time window and were very upfront on pricing, time and the work that needed to be done.

Our furnace stopped heating (due to fan issues), so we called Bartlett to schedule an appointment. They were able to quickly send someone to service the furnace. We were impressed with their tech, Jerry who was very polite, and patient in explaining to us the problem with the furnace, and providing us with recommendations on how to keep it in good working condition. We will definitely use them again for all our future HVAC maintenance needs. Thank you Bartlett for a great service at a great price.

Bartlett was recommended by a friend when we needed an HVAC replacement for our downstairs unit and they did not disappoint. From the beginning of the process they were knowledgeable, courteous, and professional/ They also focused on our needs and opur budget -- putting us before their need for a sale or add-ons. I feel that we got the best value and best service by using Bartlett and would advise anyone to call them with any new unit or ongoing service needs.

We asked the Bartlett rep to give us an estimate for replacing our HVAC system (a/c and furnace). He was on time, even though we made a late appointment, and he was very personable, professional and courteous. He gave our system a thorough looking-over, and presented us with estimates for different systems and options. He followed up with us shortly after our appointment. We eventually selected a different company with a different product line and pricing combination, but we would not hestitate to call Bartlett again for another estimate for different work.

They responded immediately to my request for an estimate and subsequently performed the work in a professional manner, explaining various aspects of the work in a polite, comprehensive manner. So far, I am warm and cozy with my new heaters!

I was very happy with the Bartlett service rep that came by. I had been struggling with a prior service and was not aware of the level of disrepair they had allowed my system to fall into. I felt that Bartlett walked through and explained my system to me in enough detail where I actually understood what needed to happen. The options they offered me were at different price points and I never felt that the most expensive was being pushed. A service tech at a follow-up visit even recommended the system he had in his own home that was one of the less expensive options. Since then I have signed a service contract and am very pleased with the technicians that come to the house, their level of care with my system and their promptness.

The technician, Chris Frais, arrived on time. He immediately identified the issues, and was able to make the repairs in less than 1.5 hours. Very professional.

After setting up the appointment over the phone I received a confirmation via email as promised. I also received a call to let me know the tech was on his way. The tech, Jerry, was very professional and efficient. He was informed that I was a first-time Angie's List customer and would get the indicated discount. He checked out our furnace thoroughly and summarized the readings he took on the functioning of the different parts of the system. We signed a service contract with them. Jerry asked when I would like them to come out for the AC annual maintenance. He said we would receive a reminder email at the agreed upon time. Great job, Jerry!

They are always professional and always on time. They are very reasonable. They are more than helpful when they come out. They don't try and oversell me on anything. People can really trust them. They helped me out on emergency calls, and also when it was 110 degrees and my air conditioning blew.

From start to finish Bartlett gave us an estimate of what needed to be done, arrived promptly, answered all of our questions and cleaned up after they were done. the entire installation was done in one day and we are extremely satisfied with their service and professionalism. I would highly recommend them to others!

They arrived promptly at the scheduled time for the estimate as well as for the installation. Once the installation was complete, they went over all the instructions on setting the thermostats. The installer thought one of the units was having a bit of an issue and Bartlett sent out a technician and a new part has been ordered. It was a pleasure working with them.
