The man was professional, came within the hour (after being woken up in the middle of the night), and quickly had the Ac running again!

My husband and I needed a new HVAC company, and we eventually chose Bartlett Heating and Cooling. The company sent Jerry Jenkins, and today was his initial visit to our house. Thirty minutes before he arrived, Denise from Bartlett phoned to alert us, and he arrived promptly to service our furnace. He spent time with both my husband and me explaining what he did, giving us heating tips, and re-orienting the louvers in several heating vents for better heat distribution. Jerry is a thorough professional, and Bartlett now is our recommended heating and cooling company.

The install went well. Once we made the decision to go with the higher end unit it was installed and running in a few days. All we had to do was pick the type of unit from a few provided options and pay the bill. Highly recommend.

We went with the two stage unit since we plan to be in this house for awhile. It's much quieter, we cant hear it at all anymore. Bartlett moved the unit around to the side of the house per our request as well. The process was quick and painless. Highly recommend Bartlett HVAC.

I called Bartlett H&C for a basic service visit. My HVAC unit was cooling my main area unevenly and struggling to keep down the humidity. Jerry was the Bartlett representative on the job. He showed up on time and was very pleasant and professional. While the job was just a standard status check, he diagnosed a few things while educating me on how the units operate. The few tweets he made worked immediately and even offered a few tips for future reference. I would definitely recommend Jerry and Bartlett H&C again.

Mike and Mitchell arrived as scheduled and installed a new 2.5 ton Carrier air conditioner and evaporator coil as agreed. The installation went as expected. The new system is very quiet and cooling my house well. Upon inspection, Mike discovered my fan is full of dust and in need of cleaning. Bartlett Heating and Cooling is scheduled to return this week to that for me. From the estimate with Travis, to the installation with Mike and Mitchell, to the follow-up with Shannon, Bartlett Heating and Cooling displayed a level of professionalism that is top notch! I recommend this company if you have heating and cooling needs.

The first year is free and then it is $200-something after that. Their pricing is average. Another service that I got a quote from was a few hundred dollars less, but I liked their professionalism better that is why I gave them the business.

Everything went fine. They made recommendations on various options for the systems, from low end to high end. We expect to be in our house for 10 years or more, so we went with the top of the line systems. The installers showed up on time and were done quickly. They were respectful of our home and everything went well.

Our upstairs air conditioning compressor was melted with a power surge. Bartlett Heating & Cooling were recommended by a neighbor. We called them at 7:30 am and a repair person came out at 10:00 am that day. The compressor and part of the fan system were trashed and we needed a new system. Bartlett?s Project Manager came out at 4:00 pm that same day to give us different options, there was no pressure selling involved. We went with a Carrier compressor, a new cooling coil, and a new furnace. The next morning, at 8:00 am the installation crew arrived. They removed the old system and installed the new one in seven hours. Everyone in the operation, the Bartlett people, were very professional and did a great job. We would use Bartlett?s again and recommend them to others.

My appointment was actually the next day (would have to take some time off work to meet them) but by the end of the current day Bartlett had an open slot and asked if it was convenient to drop by and at least take a look at the situation. They were able to fix it on the spot and we had cool air again.

I would recommend Bartlett Heating & Cooling. The service was excellent. The price was a little expensive.

They are always on time., professional, pleasant and courteous. Any repairs have been made on a timely basis and within the quoted cost. Would recommend them highly.

Replaced 2 capacitors - $244 total (already had maint plan) - he showed me before/after readings on both. Jerry came to the house. Super nice! Very professional. I expressed some of my concerns with our heating and cooling. The issue was unique causing my heating to act erratically. At first he couldn't diagnose the issue - but he stayed diligent and ran more tests. A faulty circuit board was confirmed. I'll have to consider replacement down the road. Throughout the process he was so nice - he took the time to listen and answer any question I had. Definitely a happy customer!

Came out same day. Replaced the parts and had it up in running in an hour. Very nice and good service. Discovered they charged a huge markup on one of the parts but still overall happy because we needed it fixed fast and did not have time to attempt to do this ourselves.

They are wonderful. The furnace went off and it went to 9 degrees. They came in two hours. I've used them since 1986. They are really good. Their price is fine and I have a contract with them. I would use them in the future.

My Heat went out and I called Bartlett. They were very prompt and came right out. They quickly identified the problem, It was a bad igniter. My issue came when they said the new igniter would cost $190 for basic or $210 for upgraded for just the part. I thought they were joking. The exact same igniter can be found at any Supply store for $23.00. I told them this and they knew that was true. I was told it would $190 for the part and then whatever additional labor charges, Take it or leave it. I left it. I understand marking up parts. I expect parts to marked up 50% to 100% over cost however that mark up is insane. Trying to charge $190 for a $23.00 part is nothing short of a rip off. I have no problem paying for the labor and a house call but padding the bill by charging an additional 800% mark up on a part is bad business.

I called when the heat went out in my house during the last cold snap. They responded that day, identified the problem, and repaired it within an hour. 6 days later, heat went out again, I called them and they were there within a few hours. The same part had gone bad, most likely a factory defect. Replaced the part with no additional charges. .Very polite and friendly, wore boot covers whenever he entered the house, explained everything he was doing, and even helped me keep the cats out of the attic

Great price...the best quote out of 4 providers and the customer service was top-notch. We were able to get a higher seer unit because the prices were so great.

This company almost caused a severe financial impact to me and my family. My A/C was not cooling, but still blowing hot air. Bartlett Heating & Cooling came to assess the issue. Their notes from the visit were " Informed customer and recommended leak search." The Leak search was $117.50. "Pulled panels to Evap. coil and found multiple leaks and also found suction line service port to condensing unit leaking also. System Down. Highly recommend replacing cooling or full system." Then the service "professional" scheduled a sales associate to come to my house that evening and discuss pricing on a completely new system. After the service "professional" left. I thought that we should get a 2nd opinion before we spend $5-10K on a completely new system as recommended by Bartlett Heating & Cooling. So, I cancelled the Sales associate. Here are the notes from the 2nd company (Summer Breeze Heating & Air), "Replaced shorted compressor with filler dryer, wire harness, run capacitor, pulled vacuum, added and balanced R-22" So basically, my compressor was bad. When the service professional from Summer Breeze saw the old compressor, the Freon was still in it that Bartlett had added, yet Bartlett said I had multiple leaks. So, I got a new compressor and now everything works fine. Had I put my faith in Bartlett, I would have spent several thousand dollars on an entirely new system that was not needed. I will never contact Bartlett Heating & cooling for anything ever again.

They did an amazing job! We called on a Friday with no air. They couldn't repair the unit until the following week, but filled us up with a coolant, which helped our AC to work until they were able to get to our home to repair it. They also provided the best quote. Great customer service!

A/C not providing adequate cooling. Technician did excellent job of adjusting the tubes from the unit so air could flow more freely.

I waited until after the second visit to write this review, as I had prepaid for it. On the first visit in the Spring, the tech "sold" me on two additional capacitors for an additional $199 each. I contract for nearly $100,000 of commercial work each year and later called two of my contractors (they don't do residential and I won't use my commercial contractors at home) and asked their thoughts. Both of them said there was a very large chance I was hosed. Today, I was told I needed an igniter for $199 and to clean the blower wheel at $199, and since my 12 year old furnace has flex gas pipe and I am grandfathered in, he would need to hard pipe it, saying if the gas company came in they could shut off my appliance. $40 or so to do that while he was here. Grandfathered in means they cannot except in an immediate life safety issue such as a leak. See a pattern with selling and pricing here? Clearly either there is too much company push to sell and and not provide honest service and build a relationship, or the techs are on commission which is dangerous to the consumer, as evidenced by the big department store auto center lawsuit years ago where their mechanics were found to be on a bonus commission pay plan. I could not get this guy out of my house fast enough today.

My A/C unit went out on a Thursday and I called the company I had used for years. They couldn't have anyone out until the following Tuesday. 5 days without an a/c during 90 degree heat, really. I looked on Angie's List and found Bartlett and I knew that a neighbor had used them previously. I called them around 7 pm and left a message. They called me back at 7:30 the next morning (that was very impressive) and had someone out later that day. My AC was leaking freon and I knew it was at the end of it's life. I had them replace the unit a few weeks later. Both times they were prompt, professional and easy to work with. They followed up to make sure I was happy and everything was working. I highly recommend them.

Their pricing is excellent, and they work hard to meet your needs on a very timely basis. Also, they have excellent customer service. I used them for several years now.
