+ -1 moreWork was eventually completed satisfactorily. Original estimate indicated 2-4 weeks, from the time line was ordered to completion. It actually took 2 months. Aquarama people almost never returned calls. When we were able to reach someone, there appeared to not be familiar with our job. Virtually every scheduled visit (estimate, draining, liner removal, installation, etc.) was either missed or rescheduled.
Description of Work: Removed existing pool liner and trim. Repaired foam and floor. Installed new liner, trim and light fixture trim plate. Replaced and relocated ladder and installed new handrail. Removed and discarded old material.

+ -1 moreI called late one day requesting emergency repair to the vinyl pool liner after a puncture occurred. The customer service personnel agreed it was an emergency, but I would have to call at 7:30 next a.m. to reach someone in svc. dept. I called the next morning, and I was told they would try to get someone out that day, but that didn't happen. Several days later, the vinyl liner and backing began to float. The service manager was rude and unprofessional on our telephone calls. I actually went into the store to speak with the owner. That was a waste of time. Long story short, after more than one month, we finally got the tech. out there (after several visits) to repair the problems. The overall repair job is horrible. The patch is lifting around the edges, and the backing still doesn't sit flush and even. We will NEVER use or recommend Aquarama for pool service and/or repairs. It seems from other recent comments that they are spiraling out of the realm of good customer service and work.

+ -1 moreThis company may do a good job cleaning pools, but then again, so can my 10 year old nephew. They are borderline incompetent when it comes to spa repair. Not only are they lacking in technical expertise, but it is like pulling teeth to get any kind of service from them. When they do show up, they charge $100/hr. I would HIGHLY recommend that you think twice about hiring these folks to do anything more than simple servicing.
Description of Work: I asked them to see if they could repair my spa. A tech looked at it and decided he did not have the expertise to repair it and recommended a new spa pack. After numerous follow up phone calls, they finally came out, installed the pack(a very unprofessional looking installation)and pronounced the spa repaired, without even operating the spa. After many more calls, approximately 2 weeks later, a different tech came out, this one even more clueless than the first. He needed to talk to his supervisor. Another week and more phone calls later, the first tech returned and said that now he thought the pump was bad. I eventually had the pump independently tested, it was bad which means the original pack was probably good. He promised to provide me with some options on a new pump. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard a word. Incidentally, no operator's manual or warranty information was ever provided on the spa pack.
