Description of Work: I called to get a handyman to do some deck repair and they said they would call me back in 3-5 days with a name of a handyman that is qualified to do that kind of work. It was over 2 weeks before I heard back from them, just couldn't wait that long just for a phone number.

Description of Work: Bruce installed a new front entry door and storm door for me. After a few delays caused by myself (wrong door configuration ordered) and Home Depot (lost/damaged my replacement door), the job proceeded with few hitches. Bruce was very personable and helpful. Would recommend Andy on Call.

Description of Work: I called them at least three times requesting help for re-installing shutters that had blown off in the last big wind. They did say they had people out sick or folks without a ladder -- even told them I had a ladder, but they never scheduled anyone to come out or got back to me on the job. It was a small job, and they had done a great job five years ago, but I think they just gotten too big. I gave them plenty of notice.

Description of Work: Replace handles on sliding door. All was good until I discovered after the 12th that the screen door was off the track. It still is off because I am unable to get it on because of surgery I had in September.

Description of Work: They showed up at my home address versus the rental address. I asked for a written estimate and never received one. He was to call us with prices for items we needed installed and we never heard from him again.

Description of Work: We had something pretty easy to fix with some siding that had popped lose. The gentleman that came out (Shawn I think) was extremely helpful and really friendly. The cost was just a service charge but he still went above and beyond to make us happy so I highly recommend the company and will use them again.

Description of Work: I spoke with a woman in the office - never called me back after telling me someone would within a few days. I do not know if there was some kind of misunderstanding but I never received a message of any kind to my knowledge. Instead I went through a Home Depot source who came within 2 days.

Description of Work: Job - Removing a Partition Wall. The first craftsman they sent to my home was an older gentleman who looked kind of weary. I was surprised that they sent him. He was very sweet, but his faint voice and heavy country accent made it difficult for me to understand what he was proposing. This gentleman also came in the minivan, and he asked me what I wanted to do with the debris from the wall (I assumed that contractors normally take care of debris, but he was clearly unable to haul anything away in his van. I ended up telling him to put everything in my truck, believing that this was the only way to get rid of the material. I ended up taking everything to the dump myself). He was able to start the job immediately though, and he did an excellent tearing down the wall. After a couple hours of very hard work, he said that he'd come back in the next morning to start patching up the walls.He ended up having to go to the hospital for a serious health problem. Andy On Call was quick to send someone out to finish the job. | |THIS TIME, I got an excellent craftsman (In his 30s) who explained his process very well. He did an amazing job patching up the walls and ceiling. He was a great communicator, and his work was top-notch. | |All of this leads me to believe that Andy On Call is a 'hit or miss' type of situation, but I guess it's that way with a lot of things. Ultimately I ended up with a miss and a hit.
