Afford A Tree

Brandon came out to my house on Friday and assessed the situation with both trees and scheduled me for Monday. We had just completed a bad storm and one of the 70-80 foot trees in the woods behind my property that looks just like one 15 feet from my house had snapped off but landed in the woods. The 10-man crew from APEX tree service arrived at my home around 7:45am and they had to climb the tree 15 feet from my house and cut it down in sections. They simultaneously had another crew using a tractor to pull the other tree as they felled it away from my house towards the road. They finished both jobs around 10 am and they thoroughly cleaned up my yard and the road leaving absolutely nothing out of place. The site manager was simply superb in both communicating with me, supervising the crew, and providing me a referral for a fence expert who can give me an estimate for additional work I need done. I was exceptionally impressed with the crew's professionalism, speed, and thoroughness. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN AS I CONTINUE CLEARING

very professional. They were on time, worked quickly, and cleaned up after they finished. we used the 'big deal', but also added the removal of a very large tree in the front yard, so paid them considerably more. We were satisfied with the value.

they were on-time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up behind themselves. Good follow-up. When we realized there was an area they had missed in clearing the underbrush, we notified right away, and they came out the next day to get it done. We are very happy with their service.

Apex did a fine job of explaining what the best approach would be for both tree and roof health. They had a crew that allowed them to complete the job rather quickly and did a great job of cleaning up ALL of the debris. They also (as requested) wound up and concealed an abandoned satellite dish cable that had been hanging down at eye level for a long time.

STOP, STOP, STOP, don't go any farther, these are your guys to get a professional, speedy, beautifully executed job done. This was my second time using Apex. They were excellent the first time and again were just perfect. I would highly recommend them. These guys are trustworthy and just a pleasure to work with. Very impressed. Had a lot more done and ended up paying a good bit for a lot of work; but well within reason and cheaper than a lot of others out there. Very good job and great clean up. Will use them again in the spring for the back yard.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out well. I spent additional money. I would recommend them. I intend to use them again.

Brandon trimmed trees and cut down a couple of trees. They were very responsive when setting up an appointment and very prompt to arrive. They did a very good job.

Had a huge tree cut down. Workers responded in a timely manner and did not take long to cut this tree down. After they finished, the cleanup was excellent.

Signed up for tree removal services. Had one medium sized tree to be removed. Was told by Apex that Angie's List did not put the minimum price on the ad. Paid $200 for $400 of services but the minimum was $700 to come out with 7 - 8 men and 5 large trucks. Ended up having 2 large and 5 small trees removed for an additional $600. Was happy with their work but Angie's List messed this up for us and for Apex.

The tree (almost 40' tall) had to be limbed because it was too close to my home and my neighbor's home to fell it. The limbs extended over the roof of my home about about 10' over my neighbor's backyard. The crew arrived and had the tree down and all debris removed within one and a half hours. I was amazed. There was no damage done to the surrounding area, and all debris (limbs, leaves, branches, trunk) was removed completely. My neighbor across the street from my home told me afterwards that she had observed the entire process and was also amazed, especially at how clean the yard was left afterwards. I hate the idea of removing trees, but if I ever have to have one removed again, I will definitely call Apex.

It was perfect. They did a real good job. We have few extra things added to it and we were very pleased. They were just very efficient and they did their job in a very timely manner. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I had talked with the owner, Brandon, in late October but postponed the work until after our vacation. I called him on Nov. 11th and since he was close by he came right over. We discussed how to deal with each tree on the property and he gave me some good solutions, i.e. topping the Bradford pears vs. cutting them down. Brandon gave me a quote and said his crew was finishing a job and could do the work that afternoon. I can't say enough good things about his foreman, Alfred, and the crew (and of course Brandon). This whole crew were great workers and seemed to be really experienced. I stood on my deck and watched two of them climb the trees and hang ropes on the big limbs so they wouldn't come crashing down and damage anything. This whole crew worked quickly and efficiently to get this job done. And they all acted like they were having a good time doing it! The crew took all the limbs to the chipper and afterwards blew the back yard and driveway. When they left everything was great!!! I would recommend this company to anyone.

they told us they would sling and lower the tree down, and leave the property better than they found it. Never happened. They let all the monster trunk, and branches fall to the ground leaving large holes the lawn, and they crushed bushes and landscaping I had around my home.

Extremely well, crew showed up on time. They reviewed with me what they were going to do to insure this is what I wanted. Everything was done as discussed and they cleaned up extremely well. Very happy with their work. They were very cautious with how they did things as some of these trees were right next to my house and my neighbors house.

All went well. It was drizzling that day. They completed the work and cleaned up well. While they were waiting they cleaned up the north side of the house on the slope. There were a lot of stray pines etc. That was not part of the proposal but they did it without additional cost, Very pease ed with the work!

I was contacted immediately and the communication was excellent throughout the planning process. The team arrived very promptly. They were very professional. They did an amazing job removing the very large trees without damaging the lawn or landscaping. They did an excellent job cleaning up , you would never know they had been there other than the trees were gone. I will absolutely use them in the future.

Brandon (arborist) walked the property with me and pointed out issues that he saw. One very large old pine was infested with Pine Borers and needed taken down We had suspected as much...and the assessment that Brandon gave was logical and, as confirmed my subsequent research, accurate. We had a very large pine removed,2 smaller pine around the big one were infected as well and were removed. He also trimmed up our river birch and Bartlett pear trees. Finally he and his guys sprayed for the pine borers and did a great job of clean up.

Brandon came by and gave us and estimate. Then scheduled the work for the following week. Their office confirmed the appointment. The crew showed up after calling when they were on their way. They showed up with Brandon who had done the estimate. We went over how we wanted the trees trimmed. They brought plenty of equipment and a chipper truck. They were quick, careful and professional. They cleaned everything up including blowing off the lawn and street. They even swept up wood chips around the chipper truck. Our neighbor talked with Brandon and they went to their house and took down some trees for them. They cleaned up and left with everyone happy with the work and way they cleaned up.

After receiving an estimate a few months earlier from another local service that never followed up or showed up after scheduling the work, I contacted Apex. These guys were on it from the moment they quoted to three days later when they showed up to complete the work with a large crew. Timely, price competitive and amazing service. I would recommend Apex to anyone in their service area. My home and surrounding woods and landscaping look better than ever!

Brandon was very responsive and upon my initial inquiry returned my phone call that evening. He was very honest and did his best to earn my business and offered a competitive price match. Within a few days Alfred and his crew safely removed the tree and cleaned up all debris. I was very satstified with their service and prompt response.

Brandon came out and gave the best price out of 4 estimates I've received over 2 years. He was very thorough in the questions he asked and the quote he wrote up. He also did not take payment until work was complete, the sign of a professional. He estimated the work on Wednesday evening - that Friday morning a very large crew with all necessary equipment arrived, and had all the work done in under 2 hours, including cleanup. I should mention that none of the work was simple; both trees to be trimmed had power or cable lines running through them, and the pecan with the huge limb was located in my neighbors yard, overhanging a retaining wall, fence and established landscaping. It also branches over 2 homes and a detached studio. It was done flawlessly. Both spaces have undergone quite a transformation. The trimming he did in the front yard made the magnolia look majestic instead of overgrown, allows a better view of the house, and is bringing more light into the front porch and flowerbeds. In the back, the whole sky has been opened up, giving us more sun and less cleanup to do on our deck and patio. Icing on the cake, he left me some choice pieces of Dogwood and Pecan for my woodworking (as requested). Of all the property maintenance work I've had done in the past 20 years, none had this much impact for the cost. I wish I had done it a long time ago.

Apex (Brandon Morris) kept appointment time, large team of men removed trees and limbs and used giant (chipper? [tolerated jokes about "Fargo"]) and removed all debris. Also ground down stump of largest tree to even up the area.

EXCELLENT,EXCELLENT,EXCELLENT!!!!!!! I contacted Apex yesterday morning and by early evening the tree was down and the other tree trimmed beautifully. A crew of 9 guys came and worked like a well oiled machine. I couldn't believe it. When they left my yard looked like they hadn't even been there. They racked, blew, hand picked up every last leave and branch. This was a thirty foot tree in my front yard. If you lookin' to have a tree down or your yard cleaned up PLEASE look no more, you will not be disappointed, I promised. I'm so happy with Angie's list for having them represented on her site I loved these guys!!!!!!!!!!!!
