Afford A Tree

This is not a review of the provider but of AL's service. AL was not to sell me a coupon for this provider as we live out of the area they serve. Rather than removing them from my list AL keeps asking for a review. I can not review a company that hasn't provided a service to me. I only wish AL were better set up as to not sell coupons o/s the providers area.

Unable to arrange service after 3 attempts

They wouldn't refund money when I had to cancel because I was moving. I paid them $200 and they said they didn't do anything for $200 (supposed to be a $400 package) and they didn't do anything for less than $500. All after I paid them. Then when I called back, they never returned my call. They were the worst.

Finally, we called Angie's and asked to change to another provider offering a similar deal.

They could no longer honor the offer. I had to get a refund.

Purchased coupon ($400 for $199) for tree service. Apex did not honor coupon and refund from Angie's List requested. Still waiting for refund after 4 weeks.

After many delays due to weather they started on a Friday afternoon around 3pm and worked til 6pm. They returned early Saturday morning and completed the tree removal and cleanup by 6pm Saturday. Stump grinding happened on Monday. Given the big job and complicated nature of the project (12 trees), some of the grounds were torn up but again given the size of the job, it was understandable. Clean up could have been better but mostly everything was professionally done. I'd use them again.

I purchased this Big Del in December. I spoke with him and scheduled an appointment he did an assessment of the work and said he would be back next to finish the work. I called him to find out when he would be out he said he was behind and would be back on Thursday of last week. I have tried to reach out to him since but am not getting any response.

They ended up having to rescind the offer because they claimed that you guys when you signed up for that deal wasn’t at the price that they agreed to, so I ended up having to renegotiate that deal. As he said, he still gave me a discount. At first, he was very responsive, but the work was done and it was done in a decent manner.

It took them over a month to response to my purchase.

They were fine. The man let us know what kind of tree we had and gave suggestions. We ended up needing other services.

After I purchased the deal I went online and saw that they were excluded from Angie's List due to non-payment so I decided to cancel.

I was not able to use this offer because the company has a $400 minimum before they will start work. They are also offering a Big Deal for $199 for $400 worth of work that I would be able to use. They were very professional when they came out so I will get the offer refunded and consider purchasing the other one and using this company.

I just don't need the service from them. I talked to the guy about my refund; he was very professional, polite and very helpful.

I purchased a big deal and was contacted promptly. Brandon had the crew out within a couple of days. They trimmed two large trees and a couple of small ones exactly as I wanted and they cleaned up quickly. Would definitely use them again.

Quick response. Purchased Angie's List deal and services were completed within a week. Several huge limbs trimmed up and removed. The patio and drive were left cleaner than before they arrived.

The only complain I might have had which was probably my fault is that we had cut some trees where they were working and we would have wished they had asked us if we wanted them to hall them away. That was really my fault and I should have asked them. Everything else was excellent.

They came out this morning to provide an estimate. They were on time, which rarely occurs in this area. The estimate was a little high so I did decide to chose a different company for the work.

This company worked well for us two previous times, however this time, provider has not been responsive. After one month and multiple emails/phone calls, still no estimate has been provided. We just want refund until we can find time to get another provider.

It was great. They did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. I originally hired them to cut down two trees and while they were here they offered to do the thrid one at a discounted rate.. They were very quick as well.

Perfect service that went beyond my expectations! Looking forward to a return visit next year. Brandon is meticulous.

We had a lot of scheduling problems, as well as communication problems.

Brandon said that they didn't serve my area. He was polite and professional.

He doesn’t come out as far as where I live, near Conyers. He talked to me and wished he could do it.

Did an excellent job. Came out same day for an estimate and completed the work as promised. Left everything clean and tidy.
