Brandon came out same day as contact for estimate was made and work was scheduled for next day. Guys worked hard all day, work took roughly 8 hours and they did a great job!

I purchased the Big Deal from Angies List on 9-18 which was a fabulous deal - I paid $249 and got $500 of credit! I couldn't turn that down even though I hadn't planned on having tree work done until next year! The owner - Brandon - contacted me that very evening and came over to review the site and what I wanted done the very next day. The overall deal for everything was fantastic! He believes in being fair to the customer and, believe me, he was VERY fair as you can see above. I got a ton of work done and in a very timely fashion as he was here with his crew on Sunday morning and had everything cut down and trimmed by 1:00PM! They did a fantastic job in cutting the trees down and cleaning everything up - you couldn't even tell I had had the work done as there were no branches or limbs or trunks anywhere around when they were through! I had talked to other tree services in the past and they all charged a minimum of $1000 per tree so this was a really fantastic deal!!! He handled everything I had been thinking about having done and more! I will definitely use him again since there are some other things I need done but aren't urgent. I would definitely give Brandon a call if you want any tree work done as I know you will be very happy!

They were timely, careful, cleaned up very well, very professional, and the price was reasonable given the size of the tree. They showed that they were very experienced in their trade.

They were at my home for about 3 hours. We had to re-schedule the work twice. They gave me a date and then at the last minute they challenged it. I had to call back twice to set up another time so that was inconvenient.

I called Apex Tree Service to examine a large Sweet Gum tree in our back yard. The tree has lost some limbs over time and we were concerned that it might need to be removed. Mr. Lay was here within the time frame he said he would be. He was very nice, very professional and took the time to explain the condition of the tree. He made suggestions of what we could do to help the tree. He stated that the tree did not need to be removed at this time. He also said that all trees will lose a limb once in a while. He told us (at our request) what it would cost to remove the tree if it were necessary at present. I was very appreciative that someone did not just come out and say that the tree should be removed. I will definitely call them again when needed.

Apex did a fantastic job of removing 2 dead pines and 4 other unhealthy ones. They were fast and got the job done without damaging any of my other plants. Really great job. We will be using Apex for all our future tree removal needs.

The work that they did was exceptional, but there was one item that I didn't think they did. I called their attention to it. The man who gave me the estimate was not there with the workers, but I have called him several times and he hasn't responded. The work and the clean-up itself was great. They came when they said they were going to. They did what they were supposed to do, except for not cutting one big limb that should have been trimmed. He told me he was going to take it down and he didn't. I would hire them again, but I don't know that I would deal with that particular salesman again.

Overall, it wasn't a great experience. Scheduling was very difficult and they didn't clean up very well at all. It almost seems like they did the bare minimum. I had them grind 3 stumps.

They did a good job. Scheduling was easy and the 4-5man crew was professional. It was a good value and they even did some extra work.

We didn't hear back from Brandon, so my husband called and left him a message again which he never returned our call. The work has not occurred with Apex as we have found another tree services. It is a very competitive business so getting it priced right and good customer service is needed if you want to expand through Angie's List. We would recommend that Angie's List reconsider their Big Deal offers to any tree services as most of them are based outside of the Atlanta city limits and coming into the city requires a high cost by the vendor- we have now experienced this twice with very good Angies List vendors. An in return, tree vendors please consider your offer a little more thoroughly in where you are willing to go and do the work- perhaps there should be a more comprehensive review system for the Big Deals.

That took a long time to finally get the deal done. His information of the trees that I had the questions and the landscaping all seemed to be based on the season to do the work. It would have to be done in a couple of months. I got a second opinion on the trees that he was talking about and it ended up being that I did use him for some landscaping work. His crew did a very fast job. It took a long time to even get in touch with him. It's even difficult to get him to call back. The cost was more than the offer. They worked very fast once they got here. I expected a better price. He dragged it out in getting in touch with me. He gave me some advice that turned out to be very good and very useful. It was $500 but the job was $900. There was a $400 credit. I paid out of the pocket on top of the Angie's big deal. The crew was fine. The crew was very good. Him setting the whole thing up took forever. The crew was great. They very responsive and very helpful.

Went great! Initial contact was on a Friday and work began the next Monday. Crew included an owner. They were fast and neat and pleasant. We have a steep incline but terrain didn't slow them. Seemed very professional. Work was completed on time and on estimate.

Brandon did a great job. He was prompt, and very responsive in scheduling the appointment. His crew knew what they were doing, and did a great job and left the area clean. I've had a lot of trees taken down and would highly recommend him.

Brandon Morris came out for the estimate the same day I called. He spent between 20 and 30 minutes looking over the tree and explaining everything us. He explained that there was nothing wrong with the tree and that it did not need to be removed. He seemed to be knowledgeable and knew what he was talking about.

Very smooth operation. Trees had to be carefully de-limbed as my pool and privacy fence was only a few feet away. The neighbors house was also quite close. All went very well with no mishaps. All debris was clean up and removed. I was amazed it only took a little over 3 hours from start to finish. Several works scurried around each knowing just what to do, like a well oiled machine! Great job!

Provider claims Angie's interpreted the coupon wrong!? I did my part but the provider never contacted me. I called them and they were to call me back but never did. I advised them where I lived so I'm assuming that was a problem. this is the second time I've attempted to use services offered by your service and they fell through. I wasn't even given the courtesy of making an appointment. It makes me wonder if I did the right thing by joining. It would be a help to me if your providers would just set their service areas prior to submitting their deals and that would save a lot of embarrassment and time. I never got very far with this. I was contacted, did not have a chance to return the phone call and next thing I know, this email comes telling me that Apex cannot honor the service due to an issue with Angie's List.

The service provider was very polite, nice, and gracious. He was able to come out twice to our home, he gave an estimate as well as took a second look at more service for our home. We were not able to use this service provider due to I was unable to get a follow up with the second half of the job.

I bought a "deal" for $200 for $400 of services. On April 24th he came out and gave me a price. He said it would be 2 weeks before work could be done because they were so backed up. Said he would email me the prices of the work to be done later that evening. Never received an email. 2 weeks went by and no contact. Today I got on Angie's list to check for a review on a doctor and decided to check my account and saw there was a message from Apex dated April 30th saying they would not honor the voucher due to change in company structure and the fact that Angie's List did not word the coupon according to company guidelines. I think a phone call or even an email to me personally (instead of leaving a message on Angies List) would have been appropriate. Had I not been on Angie's List I would not have known he had backed out of commitment to do the work.

I have contacted Angie's List for refund. I haven't received the refund in my account yet but have received an e-mail saying it had been refunded. The tree service said they didn't service my area. They said they serviced Atlanta area which I am in but they said it was too far to come. They were fairly prompt in getting back to me. I was real disappointed because I had paid for it and was looking forward to the service.

Purchased coupon for $199 for $400 worth of tree service from Apex Tree Service. Apex sent an email 4 days later with the following message: Due to recent changes in our company structure, as well as the fact that Angie's List did not word the coupons to reflect our particular company's guidelines, we are not going to be able to fulfill the recent voucher sales. We are still willing to try to help you out with your work in any way possible. Someone with our company will be contacting you directly by phone in the near future. You can email Angie's List customer service desk directly at memberservices@angieslist.com where you can request a refund. We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and do appreciate your understanding and patience in this issue. Thanks, Apex Tree Service They did not in the remaining days since attempt to contact me. I have several issues with this. First, were they not required to approve the copy used on the coupon before it was published? Secondly, why did Angies's List keep the coupon open for an extended time offering it for sale after it was first published when the content was wrong? I believe there were errors on both sides with this offer. Very disappointed as I needed the work done and now am looking for another company to do the job. It will certainly not be Apex.
