Description of Work: I purchased $250 worth of tree service for $99 on March 4th through Angie's List from A Family Tree Service. On March 13th a representative from A Family Service (Martin) came out to survey the job. All I wanted was one large limb removed. The Martin stated if I didn't mind giving them some extra time and waiting a couple of weeks they would be back to do the job. I waited nearly a month and called A Family Tree Service on 4/10 and s/w John, he advised that someone would call me back. No one ever called. I called back on 4/23 and left a message asking for a return call. When I didn't receive a response I sent a e-mail to A Family Tree Service on 4/27 requesting that they please respond. Since they still failed to respond by either by phone or e-mail I reached out to Angie'list. |On 5/2 I contacted Angie's List to see if they could intervene to have the service performed. I was informed today (5/20) that the owner advised Angies list that he was too busy to perform the work and that the $250 worth of service did not cover the removal of the single branch. Based on this experience you can draw your own conclusion whether to use them or not.

Description of Work: I was never contacted by A Family Tree Service. I spoke with an Angie's list representative who stated they would check into why no contact. I was very explicit about the tree service I wanted. I would like a refund if they are not going to be responsive.

Description of Work: I ordered a tree service deal on Feb.25, 2015 for 99.00. Not only was I charged twice 198.00, but I never could get them here to do the work (I reported this several days ago.) I am due a credit of 198.00. Tom Fast
