There was an additional cost to the big deal price. My experience with them was okay. The workers were good.

Danilo's was very competitive with their pricing. They cut down two huge pines in my front yard. They also cut down 5 trees in my back yard. Trimmed some other trees and did some stump grinding. They showed up on time and got the job done in one day. Cleaned up all the mess and my yard looks awesome! I would use them again.

Provider did not return numerous calls. He did call me once to arrange service but did not confirm a service date. I never heard from them again.

The first tree, a white Oak, had been struck by lightning and had died this summer. It was about 80 feet tall, with limbs at the top 20 feet, but none below that. The tree also was hollow in the top section and had a honey bee hive in it that was about 9 inches by 10 feet. It had three honey combs in the top 5 foot. This tree presented a unique set of problems because the Bee hive was FULL of bees. The other two trees, red Oaks, were about 50 feet tall and in the fence row between the property lines. The trees were still alive but had started dropping some really big limbs on the fence, crashing part of it to the ground. This is the third time I have had to have trees removed from the property and while I have paid twice as much, Danilo was as good if not better. Tree trimming is a dangerous, delicate ballet between the man in the tree and his team on the ground. This job could get ugly really fast. Those guys were very cautious with everything they did and made sure the trees fell where they wanted them too and no one got hurt. They removed what they were supposed to and sectioned the trunks for firewood. They cleaned everything and flattened the yard back for the landscape company to seed. I could not have asked for more in any manner. They were great and will be called again. Ron

Removing trees is a big project and Mario and his team did the job very smoothly and without pain. They did exactly as agreed, paid attention to details, all as scheduled and at a fair price. We encountered some unforeseen issues and they helped work through them without problems. When the job was done they cleaned everything up. Good guys, professional...I'll use them again!

Danilo?s came out and gave me an estimate on the work I needed done. On the day of service, I added more work to be done and he did it at a good price for me. They had a crew of 10 men and the work was done in 9 hours. The crew were friendly and worked seamlessly. The only complain I had was they ran out of sod, so I had a small area that needed sod but was unavailable. Overall I was satisfied with the work provided and will highly recommend them.

The workers were here on time and notice that they all helped one another in the flow of getting the job done. I am very satisfied with the work provided and will highly recommend them.

I hired Danilo's tree service to cut down 2 large oak trees in my yard. They were professional and knowledgeable. They got there on time and left everything clean. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

The crew was able to do the job within 7 hours. They took out the old retaining wall ties and bought in treated wood and began to build the new retaining wall deep in the ground for stability. They were very friendly and worked efficiently. The wall came out very nice and our neighbors are impressed with their work and looking into doing a similar wall. I highly recommend Danilo's!

The crew arrived as scheduled and did an excellent job. Clean up was thorough.

Did not call for 2 weeks after I paid for special;I had to call and schedule; did not show for initial appointment; never met face to face; did not honor $99 special for removal one tree limb; did not have ongoing business as listed with business address rather wanted check mailed to individual at his house. Trees did get trimmed for more that I was expecting to pay but job was well done.I had to insist $99 paid in advance be deducted from bill at end.

The work was done, although they left a lot of vines at the bottom of the trees, which (from what I've read) means they'll grow back. What really bugged me was that they didn't call to tell me when they were coming. I came home to find they'd put their sign in my front yard and had done the work without my supervision. Somehow, they bypassed the lock on my backyard gate, which made me uncomfortable. Still, the work was done, the vines were cut. I just wished they'd removed vines from the base of the trees in addition to cutting them mid-tree.

It went very well. I had to dicker with them quite a bit. My husband and I got the impression they weren't figuring in to the estimate. They were figuring in the $99 that I had paid, but not what the actual coupon was worth and so we had to really work with them and finally, we got them to do what we felt was fair. Unfortunately, when they did the work, they were supposed to also grind some stumps, but they left our job to go do another job before they did the stumps, but they left all of their equipment in the backyard and then it rained. So, when they came back in to grind the stumps, they did grind the stumps I think, at least one of them we know for sure they did, the other one we hadn't walk back there to really inspect it because the ground got so wet over night and then their equipment was so heavy that now the whole backyard is a total mess. They did take away the wood that we had paid extra for them to do. They did take that wood away, but as far as fixing the mess that their equipment made, we're going to have to do that ourselves. We would never use them again.

They were good and were able to come out a week after I purchased a Big Deal from them.

Fine but charged more than expected

Martin and his crew are very courteous and hard workers. His prices were very fair, and he stands behind his work. I was very glad that I chose him to do this work. Again his prices were great, he was on time, and did a very excellent job. I will no doubt use him again when I need trees trimmed!

They did an excellent job. They came out a week after we purchased the Big Deal. There was an additional $400 charge to the $99 Big Deal. The trees looked fine after the pruning. They did what we wanted and it was all accomplished. I would use them again if need be.

Martin set up appointment for estimate and showed up promptly. It took several days to get the schedule and estimate worked out. I noticed there are some bad reviews, but mostly due to late response (getting slammed by the Big Deal Promotion), not because of the work performed. I am glad I gave them a chance. Charlie and the crew perform actual work. Charlie is very knowledgeable and particular. I am particular too but was able to find a happy medium with Charlie. :) Both Martin and Charlie talked me out of cutting down two tall trees near the house - they are tree lovers and will not push for unnecessary work. They also did a great job cleaning after themselves. My yard looks awesome now! If you have a material job that needs to be done, my suggestion is to be there when the job is performed. That way you can communicate to them on exactly what you want.

Called me right away to setup an appointment to came out and see what I wanted done. After that I received an email stating when they would do the work. Than a week or two went by before I heard from them again at which time I explained that the work had not been done. Another week went by and an email came asking for a review of the work they had done. I replied to that letting them know that work had not been done. After that I was told the work would be done the next day and it was. I think they had a lot of work to be done in a short period of time and they may have gotten a little confused. The work has been done and i'm happy.

I called and left two messages. They never called me back.

It took a few days to connect and schedule an appointment but the work was done with thorough clean up to the point that there was no trace that they had been there.

Initially there was confusion on my part about what exactly my $99 bought. They came out and said they would cut down a large crepe myrtle (about 5 inches in diameter), one tiny crepe myrtle (about 1 inch diameter) and 2 branches off two cherry trees which couldn't have been more than 3-4 inches in diameter. I thought I made it clear at the beginning that they would cut down and remove all debris - that was the whole point of hiring it done - so I wouldn't have to do anything. There was some back and forth about when the work was to be done, but within a week or so, they came out and completed the work (I was not home), cleaned up - everything looked great. Then 2 days ago, I got a call from them about me leaving them a check. I told them I had paid for everything via Angie's List. He said I owed him another $100 to remove the tree debris. I was speechless; this was not my understanding. This is the problem with the ad - it is way too vague. Does the $250 worth of tree service cover 1 branch, 1 tree, 2 branches, 1 hour, 2 hours, 1 man, 2 men, removal of debris they cut down - What? I would think $250 would cover at least an hour of work and I would bet money they didn't spend an hour at my house. I wish I could have been at the house when this was done - but I had to work. So do I owe the $100 or not? We'll see how it goes. This is the 1st time using Angie's List and I was afraid something like this might happen. Very disappointing. I would consider using them again - but would get everything in writing. The work they did was great - the pricing no so great.
