Description of Work: I can't say enough good things about this business! Called four different Tree Services in our area for quotes, Gray Brothers Tree Service (GBTS) were by far the best price quoted. Marnie Gray came out to give us an estimate within two days after initial contact. After reviewing all four quotes and the reviews posted on Angie's List, we decided to go with GBTS. They were able to do the work earlier than expected (approximately one week earlier than scheduled) and for the exact price quoted. GBTS/Scotty and his crew showed up just after noon and within a little more than four hours, they removed sixteen leylands and cedars (each more than 30' tall); two hugh oaks; two hugh sweet gums; ground up a total of thirty stumps; cleaned up and hauled off all debris. The crew did an outstanding job and never even put a scratch on any of our three metal out buildings that were nearby or under the trees removed. I have already recommended GBTS to a friend!

 + -1 moreI did get quotes from other companies. I went with Grays because every time I called him, he would come out immediately that day or the next day. They were very quick and professional. They were very polite. So many people are not as nice as these people. They grounded the stumps and picked up after themselves. They got so much done in a short amount of time. They were willing to accept my credit card, but I just paid cash. They were so good I may be calling them to do more work. They were honest with the pricing and did not over charge. Anyone who uses them most likely won't regret it. I would give them A+. They came in the morning so they wouldn't get caught in the rain.

Description of Work: I had a huge dead pine tree in my front yard. I decided to go with Gray Brothers after another patient in my dentist's office and a close friend both recommended them. I called them after lunch; the estimate was in my mailbox when I got home from work. The tree was down three days later. I would definitely call them back again.

 + -1 moreWe used Gray Brothers after another tree service upped the agreed-to price at the last minute. Although the company ended up providing the service later than agreed to, and I had to make a couple of follow-up calls, the rest of the experience was completely perfect. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the process was smooth and hassle-free. The tree was removed as agreed-to, there was no damage or necessary clean up afterward, and the price was lower than any other provider.
Description of Work: Remove one tree leaning over house without damaging house, shrubbery, or other nearby trees. Clean up debris and haul tree away.

Description of Work: called to give estimate for fallen tree removal for insurance report. Said they would come next day. never came nor called. As a widow,disabled and 62y/o i depended on them BUT they disappointed me. I did not call back what was the point I waited for the next CO. and they didn't show either so i made other arrangements

Description of Work: removed a fallen tree, and removed a dead tree on property. Cleaned up and completely filled hole from downed tree.

 + -1 moreThey have hidden fees that they don’t tell you about that really add up even though their basic fees are very affordable. Be sure to take these fees into account when you hire them. Overall their prices are very reasonable.
