 + 0 moreI received a call back the same day that I ordered the wood and it was delivered the following day. I've yet to burn any, but it appears well seasoned and consisting of nearly all oak. It also appears to be a bit more than half a cord. While delivering the wood, they were able to give me an estimate on removing some large limbs from a huge beech tree which was growing over my house. Once we agreed upon the price, the company had a crew out the following day to perform the work. The tree crew was very professional and able to remove large limbs from directly over my house with no damage to my yard or home. They cleaned up all the limbs and debris and left the yard looking better than when they started. They also would have cut the limbs for firewood if I wanted. I appreciated that they were able to do the work without any heavy equipment tearing up my lawn. The firewood was $140 for half a cord and the tree services were $700. The tree service price was on the higher end of the estimates that I received, but having now seen the work, I believe Todd Pate's services were well worth the price. I would not hesitate to recommend the company for these services or to hire them again.

They were friendly and professional, and we will use them again. Based on this, we also had them remove one tree and prune several others. Again, they were on time, competent, and professional. Their clean-up was so good you would never know they had been there. We will call this company again for any tree work, and have already recommended them to our friends.

 + -1 moreThey actually quote firewood by the cord, the legal requirement, as opposed to many who quoted a 'truckload'. I received a full measure of seasoned firewood.The firewood was neatly stacked. Fortunately I had no stairs or a long distance to travel. They will still stack it in those conditions but will charge extra for it. I will certainly order from them in the future.
