Troy Barker arrived, talked to us about any questions we had and then his crew went to work. They were finished in less than 3 hours and did an excellent job. We couldn't be happier. Their price was fair and we are very pleased. We would definitely use Todd Pate Tree Services again.

The Pate people were excellent. They were very efficient, did exactly what I asked, and even arrived early. They also trimmed back a tree in the front yard and cut back a crepe myrtle stump that had been dead in my yard for years. The head man was very personable and joined in the work. The crew sere friendly and very hard workers. I am so pleased with every aspect of their work. I highly recommended this tree service and would use them again for any tree or holly problem I had.

I have used several firewood providers in the 10 years I have lived in this house, but I will only use Todd Pate in the future! The wood is absolutely perfect--great size, truly seasoned, and clean. David, the person who delivered the wood did a beautiful job of stacking it. I am completely pleased with the service from start to finish. I called and got Todd on the phone on Friday and he said he would let me know when they could deliver the firewood. The next morning David called to see if it was convenient to bring it over. Great service!

All neatly delivered as promised. Wood is nice, dry hardwood (oak). Burns nice and hot with some crackling.

Hired them after reading other reviews on Angie's List. Had them trim trees in three different areas of front year including two very heavy limbs off an oak that was starting to lean. Did an excellent job on the trimming and raising the canopy. Better yet, the clean up was so good that you could not tell they have ever been to the house. No debris of any kind. Very good work. Would hire again.

The wood seems to be very good and he did do a good job stacking it and everything. They went out of their way actually to make sure I was happy where they placed it so I would use them again. I think they were very professional, very nice. There was a little snafu that the wood wasn't delivered. I kept waiting for it but in the end, I called and they apologized for the delay. They were very professional and handled it and got out there right away. I would definitely use them again. I think the pricing was reasonable.

Received a phone call when the delivery person was close to my home for a confirmation of order. Delivery was prompt , the man stacking the wood was polite and worked quickly and all wood was stacked neatly . Very happy with service.

It is away hard to be sure you are getting what you pay for when you buy firewood. A cord is 128 cubic feet. That means a densely stacked pile that is 4' high, 4' deep and 8' long. Not very many fireplaces can handle a 24" log, so you generally get a log that is 16"18" or so. When stacked as stated above you don't get 128 cubic feet. I placed a row of pallets where I wanted the wood. The line of pallets was about 18' long and probably about 20" deep. The wood that these gents brought covered the length of these pallets, and nearly 5' high. I would say I absolutely got my money's worth. I would highly recommend this company if you need firewood.

I will use Todd Pate Tree Service as long as I live in Atlanta. My incident went a little bit beyond normal, and it was all handled in a friendly, professional, prompt, and ultimately more than satisfactory manner. I called Todd to get a price on different amounts of split, seasoned firewood. I decided to order a full cord. The firewood was delivered and beautifully stacked within five days. Strangely, I found the wood simply wouldn't burn to a full flame, either indoors or outdoors. It appeared the wood might have been too dense. Born and raised in Wisconsin, I know any number of ways to build, light, maintain and otherwise fiddle with any kind of fire, be it in a large or small indoor fireplace, a campfire, or any other kind of outdoor fire. This wood ignited and then smoldered until gone. With no questions asked, Todd allowed me to pick up some other types of wood from his location, which all burned delightfully both indoors and out. Todd and his team came and took the fully-stacked cord of original wood, then replaced it just as beautifully with the other wood. No questions asked, no extra cost. I can't recommend Todd and his team highly enough. If you're new in town, as i am, and are looking for an excellent, affordable season-long supply of firewood, or even if you're just looking to change providers, give Todd Pate a call! I found Todd Pate on Angie's List. They are nearby and they have a 100% A rating. I was not disappointed. Todd and Judy came by a few hours after my call to provide an estimate. The price was fair. Todd said he thought his crew could come the next morning (Sunday!) to clear the giant tree blocking our driveway. Sure enough, 5 men arrived at 8:00 Sunday and worked continuously, leaving a neat, completely clean job. They even took down a few trees which had been damaged by the big tree that we hadn't seen earlier. From first call to final completion was just over 24 hours. It was a great service. Thanks Todd.

They were fast. They did a huge amount of work in a short period of time. They are excellent. They were able to cut down large trees from the top down. They actually had somebody climbed up and cut a section at a time. They can take down a large tree in its place without having the tree fall.

Paid for wood on PayPal and ordered online. So convenient! The wood is perfectly seasoned. I almost hate to tell anyone for fear they won't have more when I need it. Nicest guys too! The location where the wood is stacked is not an easy place. Tipped them very well. This was my second time using them.

Love this service. First, you can order online without having to call anyone. They promise second business-day delivery, and that is exactly what happened. The man who did the delivery was great, and the wood was stacked perfectly. Finally, rather than selling by the and quot;pick-up load,and quot; they actually sell by the cord so you know exactly what you are getting. Highly recommended.

We've were thrilled with the service from Todd Pate both with the firewood and the tree removal. We don't burn the firewood in our home, only in our firepit, but this batch of wood has been fantastic- it burns the best of any wood we've purchased in the past. They delivered the wood and I paid a small additional fee to have them cart it quite a distance out back and stack it where we prefer. The tree removal was also great. Very professionally done and after watching them do the removal of the large trees I'm glad they are appropriately licensed and insured! They left any burn-able wood for us to burn and the yard was clean. They even went a step beyond and blew the leaves for us. The only reason for a B score on responsiveness was that we had to call several times after the quote to get the tree removal on their schedule.

Todd Pate's estimator Tim arrived on time at my house and we walked around the yard to confirm what work was to be done. The crew arrived shortly after and immediately set to work. All the workers were friendly and polite. Because of the size of the pine trees, it took almost all day to bring them down. The crew worked quickly to remove branches while they were coming down and seemed to work well together. The crew made sure that all debris was picked up out of the yard and that the sawdust was cleaned off my deck. I only give them a and quot;Band quot; for responsiveness because it did take a few calls to get a definite date on the books as they are busy. I wanted to be there when the work was done so it was important to me to solidify a date. I'm happy with the work that was done (as well as the price) and have already recommended them to friends.

Most folks are having to wait weeks and weeks to get their trees taken care of. They actually responded in 2 days.
