Description of Work: We have a water damaged carpet and wanted a professional determine if it could be cleaned. If so the 15x8 area would need a new pad and be restretched. An appointment was set we assumed for assessment and quote. Instead an installer arrived and stated he wanted $350 to stretch the carpet and install pad. That struck us as high for the size of the room and we had not received a quote for the cleaning or if cleaning would revive the carpet. This company did not meet our needs, pricey and uninterested in fixing the problems in their services when confronted

Description of Work: I had bought a big deal on Angie's List for carpet cleaning. I felt like I was baited and switched by this company. They had refused to honor the deal since I didn't want to purchase additional services. I escalated the situation to the manager, and he as well refused to honor the deal until I bought the extra services. I believe the company has fraudulent business practices. I believe this is a deep rooted behavior that is steeped in this businesses culture.

It's not in our best interest to drive 1 hour 15 minutes to get to you and refuse to clean. Gas is expensive. Your carpets needed more than the regular clean advertised. Since you didn't buy the coupon but your wife did, you didn't read the part that restorative clean will be additional. You wanted us to engage in a fraudulent act by attempting to clean for you to show the receipt to your landlord. No Sir, that's not fair to us nor your landlord. Your Tech Alex is loved by all clients(read reviews below about him). We have Angie's List members who call for the first time and only want Alex since they've read about him. An "F" for service that wasn't performed? Once again Angie's List will have to relook at this, because members like you are only here to take advantage of hard working Techs, just because you feel you have the privilege to go back and put a review. In your own words to Alex and to me when you called " if you don't do a good job I will write a bad review". You can't have it both ways Sir.
