Double N Services

I purchased the deal with a normal price for cleaning a sofa and the first thing the man said was, "This one is extra dirty. There is going to be an additional charge." The service provider was very cordial and very nice. I spent $85 in total.

It turned out okay. When I set up the appointment, what I wanted was not communicated to his field crew. I paid extra and some of it I agreed to. I knew that there would be charges for because, there was pet urine that I wanted treated. They charged me $35 to treat each room. I felt like the crew took advantage of my son because, I was not there. I paid more than what I wanted. They did a good job. I called the owner about it and he rebated me a $50 check. He was cooperative in that manner. I was not happy with them. I would not use them again.

I bought an Angie's List Deal to have one run cleaned for $55. After making the appointment online, I emailed them and asked what it would cost to have another rug cleaned. The reply stated $55 so I told them that I would like to have two rugs cleaned while they were here. I assumed they discounted it because they were already planning to come out to my house and clean one rug anyway. When the worker arrived (his name was Sunday), he argued that he couldn't clean the second rug for $55 because that is not the price. I told him that I had an email stating otherwise. He didn't care and refused. What he should have done was just tell me that that was out of the ordinary and that he would need to call his office for approval. Instead, I had to call his office. They pulled up the email, agreed when me and told Sunday to clean the second rug for $55. Neither rug had any visible stains. Due to their age (I bought them new), I figured it was time to have them cleaned. I guess in the end everything was fine, but Sunday was very rough around the edges and I just didn't like the experience at all. Very unprofessional.

Norman was the guy who came by, and he was excellent. They have great customer service, he was very personable, we were home, he checked with me. He was a very nice guy, and it was a good company. We asked him if we had to redo the floors, and it turned out we didn't have to, and I got back to them about it. I was very happy. He was very good.

Very good professional job He was able to come at a convenient time for us .My carpet looks so much better and I will use this company in the future.

On 1/7/14, a water pipe burst in my home and flooded half of my house. This happened to be the day when many other homeowners were having the same experience. I called ServPro and Service Master and all they could offer was to be added to a waiting list. I called Double N thinking I only needed to have the water cleaned up from the carpets. I was given a time frame that they could be out to my home and was told that someone would call me shortly. Rory called me shortly after and explained that it was not just a matter of water extraction. That the home would have to be mitigated to prevent mold from developing from the water accumulation. He also explained that due to the overwhelming number of calls, he could send someone out to get the water up but could not bring the machines to thoroughly dry until the next day. We agreed on a time and I waited. I received several update calls during that time up until the tech arrived at 8 PM. The process took several days. The tech arrived at 8 as expected and began the extraction and mitigation process. Rory came the next day with the required machinery to dry the home. He explained the entire process and what to expect during the claim process. My own insurance company did not even do that. They continued the drying process over the next three days as explained. A tech visited every day to check the machinery and the drying process. I understood why when one machine had to be removed from my home due to an issue. I must note. that the Adjuster stated that Double N was conservative in their approach to managing my damage. I completed my paperwork. They invoiced me per insurance standard. This was the only invoice the Claims department did not request be re-submitted. I appreciated their great customer service, their industry knowledge and punctuality. I also appreciated Double N understanding that while I wanted to make sure the water was mitigated properly, having my home destroyed with carpet and drywall removal was traumatic. So only removing exactly what was needed meant a lot to my peace of mind. I have already recommended them to my neighbor for a similar crisis.

The technician arrived on time. He was very polite and gave us an acceptable bid; he completed the job as quoted. Unfortunately, not all the stains could be removed.

The techs from Double N phoned when they were on their way and arrived on time. They were very professional and considerate to put on protective footwear. The job was done in short order and I was very pleased with the results. I had purchased an Angie's List big deal for the original sofa cleaning and then inquired about adding the area rug. They offered me a good price and great results.

It was okay. It was more than $55 because if you have any kind of pet issues or anything, they would upcharge you more than there were options of upcharges. I didn't think it was exceptional but it was okay. They were very nice. Their equipment was kind of old to me and I wasn’t sure if their techniques was as modern as I would like them to be. They were very punctual. I had sent them 3 times when I had opening in my schedule and they got back to me quickly.

They were fantastic. Able to schedule an appointment quickly, even around the holidays and using a promotion. Very professional and nice individuals. Results were amazing - the got out stains that had been in the carpet since before we moved in and it didn't take very long at all. We've used other cleaners in the past, but these were the best results yet.

The carpet was really, really dirty and I was just taking a stab at cleaning to avoid replacing it. I was not expecting what the result was. There were stains of every kind and color and when the cleaning was done the carpet looked like new. I was very impressed with the service.

They did a fine job. They were in-and-out efficiently, and we didn't have any problems.

I generally don't write reviews, but I'm writing one now because the service was so fantastic and the price was very fair. I called on Saturday, 2/15/14, to schedule a cleaning for a new home we are moving into. I asked to be added to the schedule if at all possible, and Emanuel fit me in as the last appointment of the day. It was 9:00 p.m., but I did not care because I wanted the carpet cleaned. He explained to me what he was doing, did not push to upcharge me into additional services, and got the job done well. Emanuel showed me the dirty water and the ball of hair machine picked up and further confirmed that I did the right thing by having the carpet steam cleaned. The service, responsiveness, and the price were excellent, and I highly recommend them!

They arrived 2 hours late but redeemed themselves by providing a good price for extra room to be done and doing a good job , carpets are cleaner than ever .

The service went well. We have used them several times. They are always prompt and come exactly when they say they will. Their prices are fair even though we did pay more for the additional deal. They did a good job and were able to remove pet stains.

Provider was flexible to meet my schedule change. The technician was prompt and courteous.

They did a good job. They got the items clean. I had a sofa that I was sure wouldn't come clean, but I just wanted it cleaned as best as it could, and they did get it clean. My interaction with them was good.

Carpet wasn't that bad. I pointed out anything that he missed and insisted he go back over it again. I paid extra for the upholstery but he still didn't get all the stains out. I don't think it was worth the extra if he couldn't get all the stains out.

The telephone call center for Double N is very courteous however they made a big mistake telling me that service would be on a Tuesday when in fact they booked it for Wednesday on their calendar. Despite this error I chose to reschedule and use them considering their high ratings here on Angies List. I'm disappointed. My carpets look no better than when I use my own Hoover steam cleaner. I was expecting more from a "professional" company. These guys spray a substance all over the carpet and then use a machine that looks like a floor buffer with a scrubber attached to scrub the carpet. There is no water added and no suction to remove the filth (they do vacuum the crystalized "stuff"). When I asked the guy about this he said that the substance sprayed on the carpet crystallizes the dirt and the dirt is brought up by the buffing and then absorbed by a sponge attached to the machine after the scrubber attachement is removed. I wasn't convinced as it seemed like the dirt was just being ground further into the carpet. They also smell bad. Adding a deodorizer would cost a lot more money so I opted not to. But shouldn't carpet cleaning remove the dirty smell? (I do have a pet but there she doesn't have accidents in the house that would leave a smell. She is a clean indoor dog.) All that said, the carpets do look a LITTLE BIT cleaner... not much. I had two couches cleaned and they barely look 10% better. I am terribly disappointed after paying $99 for each of them. I have two benches each measuring 1.5 x 2 feet. That's a pretty small space yet the guy wanted to charge me $20 for each of them. I talked him down to $10 each and they still look filthy. He said that I was "lucky" to get extra treatment on the upholstery that I didn't pay for. Extra treatment? Really? They look filthy! I feel bad saying this as they guy who did the work was very nice but the bottom line is they still look really dirty! Don't expect these people to throw in a small walk in closet or small extension of any room. They will want to nickel and dime you for everything. I managed to fight for one small bathroom space to be done since the room it was attached to had at least 70% of the carpet covered by furniture. The guy then said I was nickel and diming him! Had to laugh out loud at that one! Overall, nice people. Lousy results. Will not use again. Do not recommend. I'll go back to Stanley Steamer.

The service was fair. The clean areas looked clean, but the areas with stains they were not able to get up. I did have to pay additional for some stairs and other areas too. They were on time and they did call ahead.
