Dear Angie's List Member, I am sorry our meeting with you didn't go as you will have expected. Regardless, I will expect you to let other Angie's List Members happily using our services and others who are yet to, and may be reading your review know all the facts. I have copied and pasted communication between you & our office, for the reader to make his or her own informed decision(we love serving Angie's List Members and we don't want anyone to be deprived of good services due to this). WE HAVE DELETED NAMES,ADDRESSES & PHONE NUMBERS TO PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY). As for as I know, we are still waiting for your response to the estimate we sent you to schedule a time to install carpets in a large living room and a bedroom,using carpets that you removed from your other house 5 years ago. This a very difficult job to do, but we are proud to say we are one of the few companies that has the needed patience to do this(WE JUST LOVE WHAT WE DO ESPECIALLY FOR ANGIE'S LIST MEMBERS). After you missing your appointment with us and not answering your phone calls when Tech showed up for a FREE estimate, you called back after 2 weeks and wanted us back there same day(please refer to correspondence below). We told you we will TRY for either Friday or Saturday because we didn't have a Tech scheduled for your area at that moment. We will give you a call to confirm(refer below). We couldn't make it that Saturday but made it to you on Sunday the next day on our day off to give you the estimate. We emailed the estimate to you and copied your brother too.We are yet to receive a response from you on when to get job scheduled. You didn't pay us $500 as you stated in your review. We estimated $450.00 for the install which hasn't even been done. We are professionals here and we will still come & install for you when you are ready, and hopefully we can still get that SAME SMILE from you(showing how pleased you were), when we came by your place and took your measurements. Thank you Double N Services 10/2/2014 i am very sorry about missing you i have an 89 yo mother i am taking care of as well as my brother and sister so we dont have to put her in a home and it is so tiring and the scheduling is just overwhelming. I live just off of and off of . is there anyway somebody could come by and see how much it would be get an estimate on the area i need carpet installed? basically its the basement of the main house large living area beside thee garage under the house. i have the carpet from my old house that was in great shape (the governmetn needed our land to expand south cobb drive and we suddenly had to sell and buy our homes after being int he same home over fifty years. I have the new carpet , which is now five years old from the old house, i just need it laid down and installed. This may sound confusing but if you could send somebody out there is always somebody here or myself and please give an estimate on the cost of this carpet installation. Sorry everything has been so scattered brained but i am sure you can understand with my mother and her dimensia and recent brain surgery we are all overwhelmed. the home number here at the house is or my, cell phone is. or again feel free to stop by if you are in the area or have time as i want this done asap bc i am so sick of the carpet being in the way. Description of Work: I bought a $69 coupon to clean 3 rooms. I had several dog stains that needed extra treatment. In addition they cleaned 2 sets of stairs. The main cost was for the 2 large oriental rugs that they took away to clean and treat pet stains. The cost for the rugs was $160/ea. plus $50 extra for pet package. When I asked others what they paid for oriental rug cleaning I was told that was a great price. It took about 3 weeks for rugs because they had to treat pet areas 3 times and let rugs dry. They brought them back and placed them perfectly where they belonged. I highly recommend Double N Services.

Description of Work: Cleaned couch. The couch was pretty dirty having pets, so I wasn't expecting too much for their $50 special....but the $50 for scotch guarding it was definitely not a bargain. They said it was much better than what you buy in the can. It wasn't...figure they made up for the price break in the minutes they took to spray the scotch guard on.

Description of Work: Appointment was confirmed for Saturday August 30 @ 5:00 pm. The workman called me at 3:30 pm Saturday August 30 and asked if I was home and I told him that I was at work and would see them at 5 pm. I arrived home at 4:40 and called the workman who said that since I DIDN'T CALL EARLIER they went to another job and wouldn't be there until after 5:00. I called back at 5:30 when they had not arrived and informed them that if they did not arrive by 5:45 then don't come. I called again at 5:45 and the workman raised his voice and talked over me so I told him that I was not comfortable with him being in my home, do not come. I sent a message through Angie's List to double n services at 5:45 to cancel the cleaning and refund the money. The workman arrived at 6 pm and told him again the job was cancelled and to leave. Description of Work: Double N Services was prompt in responding to the deal and scheduling the service. Unfortunately the service ($99 for 3 rooms) did not apply to my smaller area rugs that are made out of carpet remnants. The dining room rug is 9'x12' and one that is underneath our bed with only 3' exposed on three sides. The total cost to clean was $183 ($55 for bedroom rug, $108 for dining room, and $20 for pet stains. It seems unusual that the cost for cleaning to small area rugs is more than 3 rooms. The service was scheduled for 2pm-4pm; however they did not arrive until after 6pm. The company did not provide an update on the delay until I called. The technicians were courteous and professional and I am pleased overall with the cleaning.
