Double N Services

Description of Work: I have been trying off and on for years to find someone who would replace a 4 x 4 piece of carpet. No one wanted to bother with it. Double N had a "deal" for carpet repair, and Angie's list verified that they would replace the carpet. I have spare carpet, they came and installed new tack strips and padding and installed a piece oft carpet. So nice to deal with folks who will do a little job, not just s huge one! Installers were wonderful. I highly recommend them. I

Description of Work: The technician came, but he informed me that they are unable to perform the job due to the fabric of my upholstery. He said that they will refund me the voucher, which they have not, and I assume he was unaware that I need to get it refunded from Angie's list, not the company.

Description of Work: I was going to do the deal they had for $125. They came and said it would be double the price. They told me there would possibly be a extra charge of $25 for spot cleaning but they didn't say that it would be per room. The guy I talked to was rude and acted like I was an idiot was I did not appreciate. I will NEVER hire them.

Description of Work: Not very professional. No intro/greeting after entering my house and that set the tone. It was basically a guy in charge (w/ awful breath) and two non English speaking laborers. Just bad vibes. Immediately tried to tack on $$ upgrades. Refused to move chairs to clean. C'mon now, a chair?? On top of all that, my carpet smelled like Fabreeze but didn't look any cleaner.

Description of Work: The techs were very nice. Not sure we should have used this type of cleaning service, it seems that some existing stains are more pronounced now that before. We have had to spot shot them repeatedly. A deep steam cleaning service may have been better. The repair was not what I expected. the patch using carpet from a closet is very noticeable and the edges are not even. Perhaps it's the best they could do, but will have to replace the carpet sooner than later because it is so noticeable. Should have saved the almost $500 and put it toward new carpet.

Description of Work: Service was originally scheduled for Oct. 21 but had to be rescheduled because of equipment problems. Otherwise, service was excellent and carpets looked new again. Time required to dry was much longer than advertised but OK considering the quality of service. I would definitely use Double N again.

Description of Work: Norman and his team were a pleasure to work with. They responded timely to our inquiries and even offered additional options to help meet our needs. The arrived on time and completed the work as described. They replaced the carpet in our home and did an outstanding job.

Description of Work: I had paid the special for $60.00 but when I asked for the pet care (which said would be like $15-$20 more when I called) the service guys insisted I pay the full price of $140.00! So the service cost me an additional $80.00. so my saving was a JOKE! The services was for 3 rooms up to 500 square feet, and said they would move furniture that needed to be moved. When the service guy got there I had moved the little stuff but asked if he could help move the bed (King Size) he said he could not move the bed or the dresser that was in the room and he would just go around it. When I asked him for the pet care service he said that the original price for that was $140 so I had to pay the difference since I wanted that. It just didn't make since to pay $80 for pet treatment specially since it was only one spot on the carpet and I was only doing one room!!!!
