Our A/C unit went our around 8pm Friday on the 8th. Left several requests online at several companies - Assured called me around 9am Saturday. They were not the first to call but the first to say they could maybe help. Described the problem and was told they would try to find a time. Called back around 10:30 and said they would try to send a tech between 12 and 5 once one of their techs were free. Got a call around 1pm saying a tech was free and enroute. Shortly later he showed up and had an idea of the problem. 15 minutes later the unit was up and running. Tech was polite and knew his trade. It was unbelievably hot out - I did not envy his job that day. Our thanks to Assured for finding a way to help us out.

After having trouble with other air cond-services we've used from other companies, charging 200 or more for charging up two units. With Assured comfort, the technician came out & checked the attic unit for leaks, charged the outside units, explained yearly maintenance plan, The only problem was that the tech didn't have extra filters to fit my air ducts. I had to purchase them myself. Other than that, my wife & I like the services. We will use them now yearly.

Several parts for my installation had to be ordered but they did a pretty good job keeping me updated with status. On the day of installation, a virtual army of technicians descended upon my house. They were extremely polite and courteous. They were very cognizant of keeping the traffic down and protecting our carpets by using drop clothes and they cleaned and vacuumed up after themselves. The installation ended up taking longer than expected due to the heat in my attic and the techs had to work in shifts. Once they determined the installation was going to carry over to the next day, they installed temporary portable units in my house!! I did NOT ask for this and was very pleased of their concern for our comfort. They also requested to start at 6:30am to avoid having to work during the hottest period of day. At the end of day 2, our house was finally cool. At this point, all the major components were installed but the filtration and dehumidification units were not, presumably due to some missing parts. They came back about 4 days later and finished installing the remaining parts and instructed me on the use of the system. About a week later, the unit stopped cooling altogether. I called their service number and they dispatched immediately. They worked for several hours to no avail. At the end of this time, their installer finally told me this was one of the FIRST units they have installed and due to the complexity of technology, they were calling in a Lennox technician to figure it out. Two days later, the factory tech came out and determined several pieces were undersized and the main outside unit was faulty. They ended up replacing the outside unit with a 21 SEER unit at no additional cost. The unit has worked perfectly since this time!! Just a couple of notes: 1. Don't waste your money on the dehumidifier unless your're placing ALL the units in your house.There was no noticeable difference in the humidity level and I would not recommend investing the additional $2500 2. A week ago, the state sent me $400 in rebates which were in the form of 2 - $199 credit cards. At the time of this writing, I have not received anything else form the Feds. 3. They have a 12 month, same as cash deal which I strongly recommend taking advantage of. Even though our installation was not a complete success, I am still very pleased with the level of service and support we received from Assured Comfort. I will certainly use their services in the future and highly recommend them all.

The came out at 9 at night and I told them it wasn’t an emergency, but they told us that they were coming that day. They made sure they came and they were very reliable and courteous. They were pretty competitive in pricing, so I called around and they were pretty good. There was nothing that stood out, they were okay and I would probably use them again. They did come out that day, but they came 5 hours after they were supposed to which was between 2 and 4.

They had a quick response time. They were knowledgeable and professional.

They were good and very knowledgeable. They are one of the few that honor that times they say they will be at my home. I will continue to use this company in the future.

The unit was not cooling properly and we were concerned that we would have to replace it. Instead, the technician did a great job checking the unit, cleaning out the coils, charging the freon, replacing the filter, and making sure that the existing system did its job. When it does get to be time to replace the unit, they will be the first people we call.

Overall work was performed professionally. The second appointment to install the part was scheduled with a time frame of 8am-12pm, however, the technician did not arrive until after 2pm, which took my spouse and I the entire day to wait for a repairman. I would have preferred to reschedule to a different time slot if they were not able to make their appointment. I called the office on both appointments to confirm the appointment since no one arrived on schedule.

I was very impressed with the company from start to finish. I called for service around 9 p.m on Saturday. The lady I spoke to was very professional and courteous. She took my name and number and paged the on call technician, who called me back in less than 10 minutes. He explained that he had several calls ahead of us, but he could come out late that night (around midnight) if necessary. Since it was relatively cool outside, we made arrangements for him to come out on Sunday afternoon. He called several times on Sunday to update us on his estimated arrival time. He got here around 6 p.m on Sunday and in less than 10 minutes identified the problem as a bad capacitor. It took him another 5 minutes or so to replace it, and we had cool air again. I was very impressed with his professionalism and technical skills. He explained the features and cost of their service agreement, and we signed up for that. I see now why these guys are so highly rated by other Angie's List members. I had been unhappy for some time with my old HVAC contractor, and I will definitely use Assured Comfort from now on.

Our old one was about eighteen years old and we felt it was time to replace it. This price represents what we actually paid for the unit and installation but we qualified for a $400 rebate off the price but we are waiting to receive. We had a good experience with them.

I was pleased, especially since my air conditioner started blowing out cold air right away!

Company was positively fantastic to deal with from start to finish. Courteous phone service (this is a big deal - so many companies overlook this aspect of their impression on customers), arrived ahead of promised schedule, and provided clear, honest information on our options. This work was performed in Oct 06, and we have not had any issues whatsoever since the repair. When it's time to replace our furnace, there is absolutely no question about who we'll call - as first-time homeowners, we appreciate reliable companies like Assured Comfort and can't recommend them strongly enough.

Everything is fine and I am pleased. Since the repair, I have not had to have them back at all. This company is very respected around town. They are very nice, prompt and very intelligent. Everything was included under warranty with this service besides the filter, so I only had to pay around $60 for the entire service, which was cool. If I ever have any problems with my unit, this is who I will contact.

Our a/c was not cooling in the heat of August. We were given fast, friendly, SAME DAY service. The technician, Mr. Spriggs, took the time to thoroughly explain the problem and solution as well as recommendations for maintaining our a/c units. We are very appreciative and couldn't be more pleased! We will be using this company in the future without hesitation.

The technician was very professional, polite and patient. He took his time and was very thorough in his work and did not leave until we had all of our questions and concerns answered. We will definitely use them again!
