Larry came out to do the estimate, had a very good experience. He recommended something very appropriate, had good design ideas, and an all around nice guy. I needed to clear some brush for the installation, but my landscapers flaked. Larry not only made a recommendation but took responsibility for the new landscaper (who also semi-flaked). Larry said "don't worry about it, I got it." And I didn't, and he took care of the coordination, putting the risk on him rather than me. What more could you want? The work was excellent, the installers were both nice guys to talk to and very experienced. Two days of work and they had the whole thing up. It looks great, and it was a hassle free experience. Also, they only charged me for pine and I got cedar. That's a very good thing. Great experience.

We had a lattice fence around our pool, which was 10-20 years old. My husband and I had tried to replace most of the panels around 8 years back, but it was a task ongoing over the past 8 years that was never quite finished. The gates finally gave out and the fence was more and more an eyesore. We got multiple estimates, and ultimately, even though the price was considerably higher, went with Allied because Jeff had given us what we considered to be a fair proposal for the exact fence we were thinking of. Jeff was an extremely good listener when I told him I didn't want a fence that was "ugly on one side." He knew that I disliked the scalloped picketed fences seen so frequently around the neighborhoods, but that I couldn't afford a completely custom design. He drew me a sketch and provided options, which my husband and I appreciated. He was also readily responsive when we had a few questions prior to making the final decision. The installation ended up being scheduled about 3-4 weeks out--- and was in line with the expectations that Jeff had set. Zach and his assistant showed up as scheduled, and it took around 3 days for them to finish. I was glad we had closed our pool with our safety cover in anticipation of the build, because we did have a weekend in there where the pool perimeter was left exposed. Still, Zach was great at communicating status to me, and they really did work at a good pace. They cleaned up nicely when the job was done. The new fence looks incredible!

unprofessional to not at least call back

I contacted Allied Fence in June to get an estimate for a fence for my backyard.Larry, the project manager got right back to me and set up an appointment the following week. He staked out the area I wanted to be fenced in and gave me an estimate. He explained the aluminum products that they would use. Because I needed to have my property surveyed, they would have to wait to install it. As soon as the property was surveyed, Larry came back and we completed the paperwork.The following week the installers arrived, and, I found them to be extremely professional. Ted, answered all my concerns and I found him and his assistant extremely pleasant to deal with.I'm extremely happy with the end results. They are a great company to do business with.

Rusty came out timely and we had a great experience with him. he was very responsive and professional. They seem to have a good reputation and do quality work. However it came down to price. We got 2 other quotes and Allied was the highest. In fact, they came in over 25% higher.

They kept me updated with the work schedule. They fully explained the process. They showed up early and stayed until they were finished. They cleaned up their mess when they were done.

Very satisified with the work. They were able to drill the anchor holes and install the fence in a single business day. Fence looks great and performs the needed job of making sure my kid and the neighbor kids do not fall off the retaining wall.

I called and they set an appointment to come out and do the estimate. They did not show up or call me and let me know. I called them again and have not heard back.

Overall experience with Allied Fence was very good. The rep arrived early for the appointment. He was thorough and definitely knowledgeable. We walked the property and he provided recommendations for a challenging area of our yard. He left a fencing sample and a detailed estimate. Although we went with another company, I believe Allied would have done a great job. We felt equally confident with Allied and the company we went with. The bottom line was price (several hundred dollars less).

I think the fence is of quality however, the process could have gone more smoothly.

When contacted, Allied was quick to respond, sending John out for estimate and consultation. John discussed with us the different types of fencing and helped us with choices. He was very professional. There was an initial rain delay but once started the fence was completed in 4 days. We were initially told it would take probably 2 days and it ran 4, but that didn't bother us - we saw them working steadily all the days. In addition, I was unhappy with the first gate that was constructed. It was constructed to follow the grade of the land, but that only looked crooked to me so he re-worked the gate from scratch for us without complaint. All in all, it is a beautiful fence and we are very glad to have had Allied do this work for us.

I was really pleased with the follow up to my web request for more information. On site for estimate, I was able to clearly understand my options and had great suggestions on replacing my existing fence and driveway gate. From the time of the estimate, I had my new fence in place within a week, which really pleased me. All in all, it was a painless experience from start to finish, and the crew that did the job did a walk through with me the 2nd day and had made some great improvements when replacing the fence, and particularly the gate. By having the steel backed gate, it's a much lighter option, and yet still looks like a wood gate from the front. Very pleased and would recommend Allied to others.

The work done by them was excellent and fine. They were very professional. The price that they charged wasn?t low. If need be, then I would use their services in the future too.

They were able to execute it quickly and did an outstanding job. The fence is still standing and solid.

Allied Fence came out in June 09 to provide an estimate to replace our existing fence. Jeff was prompt and professional and even had samples of fencing material to show us. He offerred valuable suggestions about the placement of gates and how they could work around existing trees along the property line. Since it took us into December to remove trees and be ready to replace the fence we had some changes to make. Jeff came back out to remeasure and reprice the job then had the work crew on site within 2 weeks. They installed more than 500' of fence in about 3 days and hauled off the old fence. The new fence, a mix is privacy and black chain link, is awesome!!!

I emailed Allied in early Dec, and got a timely response to a quote for the chain link fence. I gave them "C" overall because Jeff was quick with the first budgetary quote. I decided against chain link, and 20 days later, I sent another very detailed request for quote for a larger sized fence of a different type, and never heard back from him.

They were good. They came out quickly. They were more expensive than the other quote we received for the job. We may not use Allied Fence.

The process was easy. The quote was straight forward. Once accepted, they scheduled the work for the following week. They called to confirm installation the day before. The workman came on time, prepared with the correct materials. He did a great job installing the fence and cleaning up after.

I was very displeased. Our experience was poor. They said they were going to have to dig up a post that was in concrete and replace it. It was intensive. They were to replace a strip further down as well. The repairman did neither of those things and I thought the should have adjusted the price. When I arrived home the drive through gates were uneven and crooked. I called them and they came back out. They did not look professional. I will never use them again.

Took us a lot of time to figure out what we wanted. Rich came out several times to look so he could redo the estimate. The crew was fast finishing almost all the work in one day. They finished the next morning, and cleaned up well. The fence is solid, and the gates were even nicer than I thought they would be.

The job was done well, but not completely finished the first time. (The installer had forgotten to tighten one of the barbed wire strands and had neglected to call me to be there when he was there so we could go over some other items.) When this was pointed out, the company came back, completed the job, and did a good job giving me the extra info that I needed for other security measures.

I received a call back within a day to schedule the estimate and got it scheduled for a few days later. Jeff came out on time, completed his measurements, discussed options I had, and provided me a quote. After I decided to go with Allied, I called and faxed in the contract and was scheduled for install one week later. The crew arrived on the scheduled day, worked until complete, and confirmed I had done everything that was needed. Overall, it was a better experience than I could have ever expected.

This is a very reliable company that is always prompt and very professional. I feel I can always count on Allied and when the men come, they do an excellent job every time. I am also very happy with the price and the fact that they always clean up so well. I definitely recommend them.

Jeff Wiggins was very nice and helpful. He came out to see where we wanted the gate and gave us our options. The gate was installed within the time frame he gave us and the cost was exactly what was proposed. The only thing was that we had asked to be called to let us know when the post would be set and when the gate would be hooked up (its 2 separate visits). No one called for either visit. The post was set while we were on vacation. The gate was hooked up on a day that I just happened to be home, otherwise, I wouldn't have been there for the man to give me the instructions and remotes and answer my questions.
