Allied Fence offers a full range of fencing products and installation services, including custom-made fences and automated gate systems. Description of Work: They replaced 2 wood fence gates, latches and posts. They did a great job, but it took a while for them to start the work after the estimate was provided.

Our customer signed her contract in mid-May and the repair was done four weeks later. May is the peak of our busy season and while we strive to offer great service, we use our existing year-round staff of highly trained employees to do all of our work. This can cause our lead time to get stretched during the peak of the season. We regret that this happened. But, we would rather be a little slow during the Spring and offer high quality results, rather than to hire day laborers and hope that results will be satisfactory. We are very pleased that the customer was extremely satisfied with the work that we did to repair her fence.

Description of Work: replaced split rail fence with new chain link fence. Also repaired wooden arbor and wooden gate. Did excellent job with all items. Other fence companies said they were not able to handle the arbor or gate.

Description of Work: Promptly came to my house for an estimate. About four days later they sent me an email saying the job was too hard and they did not want to do it. I have had four other companies come to my house for an estimate and they all said it would be some hard work, but are more than willing to do it. They lost my business and and recommendations I would send them their way.

Description of Work: I had contacted Allied fence via Home Depot. They are Home Depot's preferred contractor for fences in our area. The gentleman who came out was courteous and prompt. He sent us the quote for the project via email the same day. It was around $1500 more than the other fence contractors. (We needed to fence our entire backyard in.) I assumed that was because of their association with Home Depot. The gentleman from Lowe's also gave us a similar quote. We ultimately went with Need-a-fence from Smyrna. They did a wonderful job and within our budget.

Description of Work: Excellent job! We had our back yard fenced for our dogs. The price was very competitive and they tailored the fence design/install to accommodate our very small dogs who can squeeze through most pickets. It was finished in 2 days and looks beautiful. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Replaced less than 100 ft of chain link fence damaged from fallen tree. Finished product looks fine. They were to complete work on a Friday but called that afternoon to say they were running late; could they do it the following morning. I said 'yes' and they were here by 9am and finished by 1pm. I was very pleased with whole process.

Allied Fence has researched all of our call logs for the week that the customer says she called as well as the week before and the week after. We do not have any records of her calling either our Cobb County or our Gwinnett County branches. As the only Atlanta-area fence installation company with two branches and through our eight salesmen, Allied Fence strives to offer the best customer service in the fence industry in the Atlanta market. We regret that the customer was not contacted. However, we suspect that she has us confused with a different company.

Allied Fence Co. is very embarrassed to have dropped the ball by not properly responding to this customer in a timely fashion and we have humbly apologized to the customer. This customer has an existing gate operating system that was not working well. He had gotten proposals to replace/repair the system from other companies before we were brought in. In doing his job, our project manager thought it best to go ‘outside of the box’ to try to offer a lower cost alternative for our customer. To do so, he called in our best technician to brainstorm. Their conclusion was that a more conventional setup, similar to proposals already received by the customer, was the best way to go. The failure to communicate that news to the customer is inexcusable and we truly regret that our follow up never happened. All of our project managers have been made aware of this situation and have been reminded that providing excellent customer service is a core value at Allied Fence.

Description of Work: This was an estimate only. John was responsive to my emails. He did his best to work around my schedule for the estimate. He did mistakenly stand me up at our first scheduled time which was why I gave a B in some areas. Things happen. Out of 4 quotes, his was way high. We elected to go with another company and saved a bundle in doing so. Allied does have great financing options. We didn't need financing, but if someone does need it, Allied would be a good choice because of their relationship with Home Depot.
