Very professional crew of 4 on time, when scheduled. Trees removed in 3 hours and clean up completed. No damage to the yard. All tree parts were mulched and logs removed within 2 days. Big tires on log removal machine did not make tracks in the yard while removing the poplar tree logs from the back yard. I was not prepared for the stump grinding process and the mess that it creates, I would recommend consulting yard maintenance company to make repairs after stump grinding is completed. However, I was warned in advance that stump grinding would make a mess in my front yard prior to the work being started. Great job by North American Tree Service.

He made excellent recommendations that would involve specialists and companies from my Henry county area resulting in no earnings for his company.

Mitch and his crew were very professional, they Arrived on time. The trees were within 12 feet of my house, but they were very careful and precised in removing the trees they did not hit the house, they cleaned up after all the work was completed. I am very pleases with their work and would recommend them and use them again. The log truck driver was very good too and cleaned up after he picked up the logs.

North American Tree Service did a wonderful job removing the trees from our backyard safely and with mininum disruption to the community. Before removing the trees, they provided the best customer service as we consulted with them about what we wanted to happen. When we initially reached out to their company they immediately called us back with a great turn around time to come out and review the trees we wanted removal. They also provided a quick turn around date for removal of the trees. They were excellent with communicating eta time before consultation and tree removal appointment.

Nick's crew was AWESOME!!! They removed all the debris and left the area cleaner than it was when they arrived. They were on-time and went right to work and did not even take a break though the temperature and wind was relentlessly freezing. I have used North American and will continue to do so and will recommend them when I can...

Again I am very pleased with the way they conduct business and do the work. Mitch is excellent at providing guidance as to what needs to be done. Sam's crew arrived on time and completed the work effectively and safely. They checked with me as necessary to make sure they were meeting expectations. The crew is professional, experienced and friendly. They cleaned up as they proceeded; it was almost as if they had not been here.

This is the third time I have called North American Tree since 2009. I have been very impressed by their professionalism, and the care that they take with my property. They always have the proper equipment and they bring enough workers to get the job done in a timely manner. They take great care with cleaning up after the job, and always confirm with me that I am satisfied. I don't even consider calling anyone else.

They removed 2 very large trees close to the house, took out a pine that was hanging over an expensive Japanese maple, trimmed several trees that had not been trimmed in probably 10 years. Took out some random shrubs. Ridiculously professional for the kind of work they do. Estimator called to say he was going to be late and he was only like 5 minutes late. He is an arborist and since we are new to the southeast his advice was greatly appreciated. Actually went to his truck and provided a typed estimate and a packet with all their insurance/bond info the day he showed up. I was not here the day they came but my wife said the actual trimmers were very nice an professional. Their clean up was fantastic and the stump grinder guy actually came that day so there was no need for us to be at home for a second stump visit. After looking at my yard with what they did I realize I could certainly do some more and will absolutely give them a call. There were more expensive than the other quote I had but definitely worth the extra couple hundred dollars

They finished it in just under an hour, so I was very pleased. Everyone was completely professional and explained everything clearly. They were 1.5 hours late for the appointment, which is why they get a B for punctuality. Update: They are sending me invoices for $150. I wrote a check at the time of service for $150. There was no 2-hour minimum discussed and I have no intention of paying another $150.

They were also prompt. They were very informative. The day they came out and looked at our property and gave us an estimate that day it was totally clear when it was done. There was one problem in the end but they fix it.

North American Tree Service was prompt and well prepared for the visit to provide an estimate for the tree removal. They provided an exact dollar amount and scheduled the removal. The arborist was also kind enough to give an evaluation of some other trees on the property. There were right on time for the removal and the crew did a quick job of removing the tree from a location near the house and surrounded by other plantings. There was absolutely no impact to anything else. They mulched and removed all debris (which was later reused, we learned, so a thumbs up for recycling), and did a great job of cleaning the area of any wood chips and sawdust. They honored the 10% off Angie's List coupon that was online. We hated to see the tree go, but the overall experience with North American Tree Service went very well. We will definitely use them again.

Hired them to take a tree out of my back yard. I had marked the sprinkler heads in the area of the tree as well as the septic tank. A water line was broken between sprinkler heads. I called to see what could be done about it and Jason indicated it was not their fault since I did not mark the water lines between the sprinkler heads. We debated this and I finally apologized and told him to just finish the job and I would pay them. He called back and said they would take care of it and I refused his offer. They left my house with 8 large sections of tree in my front yard. Tried to contact the owner, Jim Watson, but he did not return my call. Emailed them with no reply. I created a phony email account and they replied to it. Carol Watson finally replied to my email after 2 days and said they would look into it. Two days later she emailed me again and said their truck is running behind schedule. The next day she emailed me and asked if the tree had been picked up. After a week tree is still in front yard. Company is unresponsive .

My only complaint is that it cost so much. That being said...it was an emergency, there were lots of trees down everywhere and these guys were booked out 2 weeks and still managed to get me in the same day. They also allowed me to work through my insurance company so I didn't have to pay them same day. Just sent in the estimate to the insurance company and got a verbal go ahead and they came out to do everything. Got the check in and mailed it to them before they even sent me my final invoice. Since there was no access for large equipment they had to do everything with light machines which took some doing, but they got the tree off the house with minimal additional damage (some was expected). On the whole, very happy with these guys and would not hesitate to work with them again, just hopefully not on an emergency basis.

Large oak tree was in the front yard. It was close to the house (20 feet) and near power lines. They had a lift that took one person to the top of the tree and he worked his way down. Three men were on the ground hauling the limbs to the chipper. Larger logs they put on the road. Later a logging truck picked up the logs and they swept the road clean. Once the last cut was made at the stump, there was a hole in the middle off the tree about 15 inches wide. We were so glad we had it removed once we saw that. Also the tree was leaning toward the house and would have split the house in half. Thanks for the great work and we highly recommend North American Tree Service.

It went very well. They were very pleasant, and professional. The only complaint we had was that the stump and root grinding was done the following week after the trees were removed (there was a problem with having enough staff to do it, I think). Everyone from the arborist to the guy who did stump grinding were very nice.

The folks from North American Tree Service are true professionals. They had to move equipment through my yard and took the utmost care to prevent any damage to the turf. A second team came back a few hours later with a large truck to pick up the huge tree trunks. After the last one was loaded, the driver took time to rake up the loose tree chips and remove them from my yard. They were in and out quickly and you didn't even know that they were there. Excellent job. I've been using them since 1999 to remove trees as necessary.

I called North American Tree Service, and very shortly after my call Mitch called me back to schedule to come out an give me an estimate for my service. He was very professional, gave me a great price for the work and without even asking gave me a copy of liability and workman's compensation insurance. We scheduled a time in which he gave me a two-hour window for the worker's to come to my house. I had to call him when they were not there at the scheduled time, but Mitch explained to me that they were delayed at another job and due to safety reasons they were not allowed to use their cellphones to call him. They did show up shortly after, though, and Mitch was very apologetic. They cut down and cut up the tree, and as planned/contracted, they left the pieces there for me to remove. When I saw some of the pieces were a bit too large for me to remove I called Mitch and he came out and cut them into smaller pieces that were more manageable for me. Overall, I have to say I am very pleased with North American Tree Service. They are a very professional, customer-service orientated company that will give you a very fair price for their service and do a good job. I had one company come out who gave me a price more than double than what North American Tree Service quoted me. When I called them to let them know I would not be using their services they asked the price I had gotten and wanted to know the name of the Company because they could not believe the price I was quoted. I was hesitant to initially join Angie's List because of having to pay for a review service. I am glad I did. The Angie's list discount I received from North American Tree Service more than paid for my membership, plus I found a great tree service! I would highly recommend North American Tree Service and know who I will recommend to others and who I will be calling again should I ever need further tree service done at my house.

They were great to work with. The salesman was good. They showed up when they were supposed to, they did a good job and were very professional. The tree was directly behind my shop and they were able to remove it before it caused damage.

We called North American Tree Service Inc on January 3rd and they worked for two days and said that they would return and they never came back. They didn't quite complete the work that they said that they would do. They cut down 8 to 10 trees and they were supposed to cut them into manageable logs, not firewood size but at least manageable. They left about a 20 foot tree trunk on the ground and then they left like a stump that was about 3 or 4 feet high. They said that their chainsaw was broke and that they had to come back and perhaps they underbid the job or something. Maybe they didn't feel like they needed to finish but they didn't return. We called them several times because we were going to use them again for something else. Obviously we are not going to use them again now. The pricing was pretty good I suppose for the work that they did. They came out right away but they never returned. We left them several messages. The only way they called us back was because we called them from a different number that they weren't aware of who we were and they called me back. They chopped the trees down, that's fine but they left a huge mess in my yard. They showed up for punctuality. I would absolutely not use this provider in the future.

The crew showed up on time, reviewed the work needed to be done and did an A+++ Job. I will use them again without any hesitation.

Mitch came to our house during a torrential downpour to price the job. He examined all of the trees (in the pouring rain), and gave us a written estimate. On the agreed date, Mitch and his crew were on time. He explained how the work would be completed and when his crew would be finished. Every aspect of the job was professional. We will use this company again.

We have had North American Tree Service out to our property 4 different times over at least a 15 year period. They have always been on time and have done an excellent job. They are knowledgeable about tree health and make good suggestions about any issues we may have. I have always gotten a good job for a fair price.

Totally professional. Woman who took original call was totally professional - Arborist called and made appointment, and a half hour before - called to remind, showed up on time. Walked around and surveyed what was to be done. Crew showed up on time - totally professional - constantly working and made sure I was satisfied with job and did a terrific clean up job, two days later the logs were picked up and they cleaned the street. I would not use anyone else!

These guys are professional, starting with Mitch. I was impressed with his knowledge, the guidance he offered, and his follow-up. Mark's crew arrived on time and worked diligently all day in very cold conditions. He periodically checked to ensure I was satisfied with pruning, trimming, etc. They have the proper and well maintained equipment to be efficient, and are well trained and safety focused. As Mitch had committed a second crew arrived with a chipper to keep up with the schedule, as did the log truck and stump grinder. Everything was cleaned up and Mark checked to make sure I was satisfied. In addition, these guys are "family friendly"......polite, courteous, and positive. I will use them again.
