I'm very happy with those guys; I've used them several times. I actually have them scheduled for next week. It was a couple of thousands. They're prompt to come out. The interaction is fine. The work is fine and completed.

It went very well, they were very punctual, were friendly, and left no mess when they were done. They even blew off the street of any leaves.

It took several weeks between the estimate and the time the work was performed. They said they were busy due to the number of storms that moved through the area recently. In addition to the three trees there were two other trees that were damaged when the one tree fell that they agreed to remove. I was told that the job would require one and a half days to complete. On the day they arrived the crew arrived on time and began work. During the removal process they cut a limb that damaged a section of my neighbors gutter. They contacted me and in turn my neighbor and agreed to fix the damage. However they also damaged another ornamental tree and cut it off at the base and did not tell me. Both of the trees they removed were close to the neighbor's house and to the smaller tree. I understand that things happen but they should have told me about the damage to the smaller tree. They agreed to reimburse me for that tree but did not do so. Also they did not cut down and remove the two other trees that were damaged originally as they indicated they would. They agreed to come back and cut them down and remove them but they never did. There was some minor damage to the lawn and some bushes that I expected as they had to move the trees from the back yard to the street. Overall they did remove the trees but felt the crew was somewhat careless in damaging the neighbors gutter and damaging and then cutting down the ornamental tree. The job only took one day to complete. I got the impression the crew wanted to get done in one day and did not want to come back so they might have been hurrying to get done. The fact that they did not compensate me for the tree and did not come back and remove the other two trees left me very disappointed.

Perfect, as usual. I never use anybody but North American. Their estimator is an arborist and he always provides a portfolio with a computer printed line item price, as well as all insurance documents and business license information as well as valid reasons why you should not use any "fly by night" companies. They are well equipped and well staffed. They do it right the first time and do it fast. About the insurance documentation: ANY contractor that steps foot on your property should provide you with written proof of insurance on their staff as well as liability insurance for property damage. If the tree falls through your/neighbors house THEIR insurance pays...not your homeowners insurance.

There was some miscommunication about the day they were supposed to come and do the work, however; they gave me an additional 10% off for the inconvenience. Great service recovery! The men who came to do the work were professional & polite. It was amazing to watch them cut & strategically drop the limbs off the large pine trees that were close to my house & deck. They cleaned up my yard, and all the logs were collected and picked up by the log truck the very next day. I would definitely use them again.

The crew arrived on time and went right to work. They were polite and professional doing the work as quoted on the proposal. They cleaned up completely The log trucked picked up the cut trees Shortly after the crew was finished. Would highly recommend and will call again if needed

Mitch and his team were very thorough and professional. They did what they said they were going to do. They were very knowledgeable and made sure that the job was done to our specifications. If you are looking for a company with honesty and integrity then I would use North American.

He's pretty much consistent. I did give specific instructions and they didn't follow them like I had asked. I would use them again because they were pretty good and knew what they were doing.

They were very professional from beginning to end. The arborist had the plan laid out and everything was done on time. They cleaned up the areas. I was very pleased with the work with and price.

This is the second time I have had North American Tree Service out to remove dead trees near the house. I will have them out again when needed. They are very professional, reasonably priced, and good at what they do.

Excellent. Mitch and his crew were punctual, professional, very reasonably priced, and thorough. He explained everything they would be doing, how long it would take, and who would be doing the work. This was a big job and North American tree service handled the job perfectly, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. The price we were quoted was very fair and also several thousand dollars less than other bids we received.

Very professional and very pleased with the work done. On time and finished on time.

The crew that removed the tree did a good job. They were on time, carefully removed the tree and hauled away the tree. However, they could not grind the stump the same day and scheduled the grinding a few days later. We came home the day the stump was ground to find a large mound of mulch on top of the bed of azaleas surrounding the base of the tree stump. No care had been taken to protect the azaleas and three large mature azaleas were buried in the mulch. I raked the mulch off and half of two of the azaleas was destroyed and the largest one was completely destroyed - nothing left but short stubs of limbs with no leaves. It was a hot day so didn't take long to damage the shrubs. Additionally, in the pile of mulch I found buried trash and a broken pewter yard sign. I called North American Tree Service to tell them about the unsatisfactory work and talked with Jason who said he would talk with the owner to discuss how they could "make it right". I had already paid the bill and explained I wasn't looking for "free stuff" but was very unhappy with the stump grinding and wanted to let them know. Again he said he would talk with the owner and get back to me. That has been approximately two weeks and I have heard nothing. I am not rating the service below because the two experiences were so different. Tree removal was good, stump grinding was terrible. We thought the original pricing listed below was reasonable, especially when the Angie's List coupon reduced it by 10%, however, we are now going to spend much more than we saved by having to replace three mature Gumpo azaleas.

The rep, Jason, came out and fully explained what service they would provide, gave us a detailed quote and left other info about the company with us also. They came out on Tues(8/02) and removed the tree from the backyard with no problem. They returned the next day to remove the huge logs and finished the clean-up. With the tree being so large, they also needed to remove part of our fence so that a tractor could come in and help remove debris. Fence was put back in place with no problem.

Excellent. They arrived promptly at 8 am and got to work. They finished in less time than was quoted, and cleaned all areas of small debris afterward.

The tree removal went well. The crew showed up on time and was careful not to damage the surrounding landscaping, trees and fencing. At the time of the initial estimate, North American gives you the option of cleaning up the mess left by the stump and root grinding, or paying extra for them to clean up the mess it leaves behind. Weigh this option carefully as it does leave quite a mess. They communicated well, showed up when they said they would, and did what they said they would do.

TWO YEARS after the work was done, I received a bill. No company phone number to call; no email address. No explanation. Just a bill. It required ME to do some digging into past receipts only to find the I had already paid this bill (2 years ago). The work was not well done. No clean-up. I paid for additional work to be done when the landscaping company planted in that area.

!First, I called North American Tree Service on Tuesday to have someone come out and give me an estimate. Mitch was out here the very next day. He walked the perimeter of the house with me and made sure he had a clear understanding of what work I needed done. He gave me a typed estimate of the work to be done in a detailed, easy to understand succinct format right on the spot. I got a couple other bids and decided to go with North American. They got me on the books for Friday afternoon. So, Mike and his crew showed up early for the job on Friday....GOOD DEAL!! Mike and I walked the perimeter to ensure that he knew exactly what work was to be performed. The guys suited up with their protective gear, then they went to work. They started in the back... dropped a pine and cut it up so quickly, if I'd have blinked I would have missed it.They continued with the trees in the back, cutting down a couple dead, a coupe leaning, pruning 2 large pines that had to have very high branches cut back that were encroaching on the top of a couple of my maples...great job!! They cut down all the little, and not so little, trees around the perimeter of my house that had planted themselves. When they got to the front of the house, where there were 4 larger trees all bunched together right up next to the house, every single one was dropped right where it should be, avoiding hitting anything when they fell. I know they do this every day, but that is not easy to do! All the fell trees and misc debris was being mulched on site, as the remaining trees were being cut down and pruned. They went around and cleaned up making sure they didn't miss anything. They did all of the work described above in a very professional and expeditious manner.I was very impressed with the quality of workmanship and professionalism shown by Mike and his crew. Thank you guys for going above and beyond!! I would absolutely, without question, hire North American Tree Service again if and when I am in need of their services. Fantastic job! I highly recommend North American to everyone for your tree service needs!

Needed about 15 trees removed in yard, a few large pines and several other trees. Got several quotes. They were all about the same price, I decided to go with this company based on the good reviews it got. That was a good choice. Some of the trees were close to a fence, a patio and a shed. I fully expected some 'collateral damage' but they did a great job and the only minor damage was a few broken branches on other trees and shrubs. They were professional, cleaned up great, and did an overall great job. Would definitely use them again in the future.

Four men worked relentlessly for four hours. They removed a 75 year old apple tree which had begun to rot from the inside. They also cleaned up dead limbs suspended since February's ice storm and other live lower limbs of four pine trees. The following week a man returned to grind the apple tree stump. They protected and cleaned up they yard as if it was their own. I felt that I truly got my money's worth and would hire them for other tree removals in the future. This is my second positive experience with North American.

I am thoroughly pleased with the service they provided. They brought all the equipment and manpower it took to do the job. They worked from 9:30 to about 13:30 steadily. The crew was extremely safety conscious. They brought down those huge oaks methodically and professionally. They kept me informed of their progress and were very attentive to the particulars especially when trimming the oak in the front yard. The site was as clean as it could be after taking down and trimming those trees. The folks I dealt with were especially friendly and informative. The gentleman who conducted the estimate was very clear and concise as to what needed doing and made me aware of the options available to me. Their estimate was free. I was able to use an Angie's List coupon and got a 10% discount! I an thrilled with the job. I will most certainly use them again.

Representative came to our home on Friday,the day after I called the service, and gave us an estimate, which was a very good price. Crew arrived the next Tuesday, on time, and they quickly completed the tree removal and pruning work. They were very courteous and efficient. They completely cleaned up and left no debris in our yard. The results look great! Trees were taken down and pruned on Tuesday, and another person came on Thursday and ground the stumps. We are very happy with the results.
