About us

Sterling Paint and Construction Services is a family run business which has been established for over 36 years. In this time the company has earned a reputation for a very high standard of workmanship with local authorities, Personal Homes, Business, schools and builders through out the southeast. Owner Ben Hawkins started the business in 1979 in his home town of Tucker, Ga. He worked on his own in the early years and gradually built the business up to the present day, directly employing an experienced, insured and legal workforce. Sterling Paint and Construction is capable of carrying out residential and large scale commercial contracts and has been involved in restoration works for residential homes, office buildings, hospitals, office developments, and apartment blocks. Sterling Paint and Construction prides itself on being able to offer any service in the painting industry and our staff are all trained to a very high standard to ensure that top quality workmanship is achieved at all times .

Description of Work: Very punctual/reliable. Team was great! Nice guys- I had dogs and kids running around and they were more than pleasant. They did the exterior and interior. They took their time and did a great job. I am sure I will be using them again.

Description of Work: I had them paint my family room with vaulted ceilings and up the stairway and loft. They filled in all nail holes and prepared any loose crown moulding. They were on time and professional. I used a 10% coupon from Angies list

I don't under stand your review, we have not done any work for you as of yet, we have come over to see you about doing work, My wife Sandra Hawkins, when over to see about the Big Deal you Purchased about Interior Dedcorating & then you wanted Me (Ben Hawkins) owner of Sterling Paint & Construction Services to get you some prices on Pad & Carpet, for your Living Room Dining Room, Vinyl for Kitchen, Repair work on your walls, that had a water leak, replace Window trim on the Exterior of your home, I have sent you Two Estiments already on the Kitchen Repair and the Exterior Work you wanted, I have just received the Carpet Pricing you wanted to get either for the Dining Room and/orLiving room and I am sending that over today 11/16/2013 Plus a quotation for the Repairing walls & painting for the Dining Room/And/or the Living room also. Description of Work: We asked for color consultation before we did paining inside and out. She was easy to book for a appointment. She called before the appt. and was prompt. She was prepared with color wheels and discussed various recommendations and why she like some rather than others. Exaclty what we wanted. Very good service.

Description of Work: This compny did everything it told me it would do and went the extra mile to fully comply with the initial job estimate. Mr Hawkins was easy to contact and kept me informed promptly. His crew were courteous, professional and respectful of my property. I would use them again and recommend this company to others. Note that the estimate was not the lowest I received for painting the exterior of my home, but I thought they would do the best job to complete everything I wanted done to my satisfaction and I was right.

Excellent - World Class Service!
Description of Work: From the very beginning of comparing several painters, we were totally impressed by Sterling's honesty and professionalism. The initial quote was a bit higher than the other three we contacted, but since we decided on three standard colors, the price was right in line. The crew was very professional, cleaned up every day before they left. The job took a little longer than expected, but only because of rain. At the end, we discovered that the paint company (which will not be disclosed) supplied the wrong color paint, which was slightly off from our original choice. Sterling was more than accommodating by repainting according to our request, but also going above and beyond and painting a section of our metal roof with a fourth color that had not been negotiated. We cannot say enough good things about Ben and his crew. Their price was right in line with three other estimates, they did a fabulous job, and we LOVE the results.!!!
