Description of Work: I was given an estimate in the morning to cut down and remove 11 cypress trees and was told they could come the same day and would be there around noon. Even though I had family in town, I changed plans to get this taken care of quickly and what seemed a fair price. However, they did not show up and they didn't call. I called the lady in the office about 3 p.m. She was extremely apologetic and said the rep would call me right away. A call that never came. Later, she called back to reschedule. decided not to waste any more of my time with these people.

Description of Work: I had several trees trimmed back. The crew did a great job and gave great advice. I have already recommended them to several others.

Description of Work: Removed a large branch from a River Birch treet that was over hanging the driveway.

Description of Work: Cut limbs down, that were hanging over house. Did a really good job with |that at a fair price, but clean up was poor and bird house was uprooted and |left lying in bushes.

Description of Work: Gave an estimate last week. Came Monday (a day earlier than promised), did the work and cleaned up in about 1 1/2 hours. | |Good job.

Description of Work: Owner/Manager responded quickly and efficiently. Advised cutting down tree instead of trimming. OK. I thought price was high for the tree that was in question. Crew were in the yard all of five minutes, and finished the job. Job and cleanup were well done, but all crew left without contacting me at all. I had a question for them which went unanswered. They left no paperwork showing completed service and w/o asking for payment.

He actually talked me out of doing it now saying November would be the ultimate time to perform the work I wanted done. I really appreciated his advice on what was best for my trees, not necessarily his bottom line. I will definitely be calling back in November to have the work done.

Description of Work: The crew from Ryan's Tree Service began work on 6/28/10 cutting down 11 pine trees. Nine out of the 11 pine trees were huge in diameter. A crane was used to keep from removing a fence in order to cut and remove some of the trees. The crane operator was extremely skillful. The crew of six men were experienced and worked well as a team. The big logs had to be placed on my grass since the big crane took up the upper end of the driveway, and the shredder was at the opposite end of the driveway. The in-between space of the driveway was used to lower the tree so limbs could be cut off and put through the shredder. The logs were gently placed on my sod to cause as little damage as possible. The crew cleaned all debris from the driveway and raked the yard. This crew also worked diligently five hours straight to complete this job because the power had to be turned off on a hot, summer day and to be finished before Walton EMC's after-hour rates began. On the second day the man came with the log truck to haul away two truck loads of logs. He was extremely skillful in loading the logging truck with the logs, but this is when divots were put into my sod. At times when the "claw" would grasp a log, one end of the log would fall heavily onto the sod. Out of fairness I would have to say it was unavoidable. Also, wood debris was left behind on the driveway and on the grass this time. On the third day three stumps were grounded as well as many roots in the back side yard. Ryan Tree Service called to asked how I liked their service which I was not expecting. A crew will be coming tomorrow to clean the remainng debris.

Description of Work: They came out and trimmed up 5 or 6 large trees; also some small trees and bushes. They took all the debris away.

Description of Work: A neighbor's red oak tree fell in our backyard and crushed 50 feet of our fence. Ryan's removed the brush, cut the usable portion into firewood length pieces, and generally cleared up the debris.

Description of Work: They cut down three dead pine trees. The estimate was $1750, which turned out to be the lowest by about $200, both low estimates did not include hauling the wood away. Ryan's Tree Service estimate included treating the fallen wood for pine beetles. This company was the first to respond to my request for an estimate. Dennis, one of the owners, was very professional and showed up promptly to look at my job. I thought I needed one pine tree cut down since it was leaning into my neighbor's yard, but he pointed out that I had three dead pines. He also said they had pine beetles, although another company who looked at the job said they didn't. It did include cutting the wood into chunks, making certain to keep the path clear and treating the fallen wood for pine beetles.
