We had some communication issues with this job but in the end, this company went above and beyond what we had contracted for to make sure we were happy with the results. We have a beautiful, well constructed deck.

Their price was higher than what I had planned although I don't remember the exact price. I had a budget and I am not sure if I would go with anyone. So, I ended up having someone else do it for me. My experience with them overall was fairly good.

This company is now owned by Frank and he has split from the deck company who did my deck last year. When Frank split, he sent a letter giving the impression that his new company had replaced the old one rather than he has a new, separate company. So he was quite deceitful when he said to call DeckPro for any additional work. After he had me sign the contract last summer, I never saw him again. His partner was the one who responded to my calls. I would not recommend working with DeckPros.

I cannot heap enough praise upon Frank and the DeckPro crews. I am not new to home improvement and have done MANY projects, they just don't normally go THIS smoothly. Everything was phenomenal. * The company picks up the phone. Every. Time. No voicemail tag. It's simple, but it makes a huge difference. * They were prompt, professional, and thorough in all meetings and communications. * I'm a natural cynic. I had several bids from other companies and was less than impressed. I was still in the investigative stage when I met with Frank. Between the way he represents the company, the on-site documentation, and the pricing, I was SOLD and we inked the deal right there/then. * They provided detailed, complete documentation up front, including proof of insurance, project scope, cost, and details. Many companies will take days to do this (if at all), Frank does this on-site with you there in case there are questions. * They are FAST. I had the first meeting with them on a Wednesday, 9:00AM the next morning materials and a crew were on my doorstep. By Saturday the decking project was essentially complete, INCLUDING time for rain delays. By the end of the day Monday, the arbor project was complete. As I sit here an look out the door on Tuesday morning the re-decking should be complete today. So that's less than 6 working days from project inception through completion including rain delays! * Unlike many companies, they do not require deposits up front. Deposits in my book are a huge red flag (listen to Mike Holmes!). We documented a draw schedule that accomodated a equitable work produced vs. dollars paid. * The on site crews worked with us to build our vision and give us great ideas to embellish on the project. This also allowed us to do some aspects of the project ourselves to save cost and "live with it" a while before making decisions. * The crews were on-site at or before the appointed times, were polite, very skilled and easy to work with. * While I am not a carpenter by trade, I am a bit of a hobbiest, so I tend to ask questions when I don't understand or see something I think is suspect. These guys were happy to talk about the reasons and why they do things a certain way, it was a great learning experience and it let us discuss the best way to accomplish certain goals. * Normally I have issues leaving workers unattended. After the first day on the job with them, I had no issues. * I'm a stickler for construction methods. Other companies tried to sell me on thinks like nailed decks vs. screwed, or cheaper/easier footer construction/materials. In discussion with Frank I was impressed with their usua methods. These include: 2X10 joists on everything. 18X18X18 concrete footings. All 6X6 posts. All decking pre-drilled and screwed down. To quote Frank: "I build these things the way my grand-daddy taught me to." * They cleaned up after themselves very well. All waste material was removed from the site in a timely and complete manner. * Their pricing is extremely competitive. * I did this project as a surprise/gift for my wife. Frank and his crew really came through for us and knocked it outta the park. * The entire experience was a joy to deal with from start to finish. ******I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any of your decking needs. We will have them back in the future for any future work we need.

Overall, the deck project was awesome! The craftsmanship shows throughout the deck, from the deck supports to the "Juliets Balcony" and the "Double-Stack Cadillac Rails". Frank Fore and his workers were very professional throughout the project, offering their expertise along the way. We would highly recommend DeckPro to anyone!

My girlfriend and I had a brand new deck built by DeckPro. The owner of the company, Frank Fore, came out to our home and spoke to us for about an hour and half. He explained who he was, how long his company had been in business, how long he had been building and repairing decks, how his company exceeds the county building code for building decks. Frank drew up the plans for the deck, gave us several options and different prices. (None of the other contractors did this). Frank did not pressure us into signing an agreement, he asked to think about it over night and he would come back and take us around to different jobs that he had done and was in the process of completing to show us the quality of his work. Frank did take us around, showed us his work and took out to meet one of his work crews that may be working on our project. He even told us how long the guys had been working for him. One the guys on his crew have been with him for nearly 13 years. Frank did not ask us to sign the agreement after taking us out to see his work, he wanted us to sleep on it again and then make decision. The next day we signed with Frank and gave him his down payment of $1.00 We decided to go with DeckPro after all for one reason….Frank is a straight shooter. He comes across as an honest business man who wants to make sure his clients get want they are promised. His guys showed up on Friday as promised. They took down the deck and took away all the materials just like the said. Frank was out here nearly every day to make sure things were going correctly. He told me, “Since it has my name on it, I want to make sure it done right”. That to me makes all the difference. Frank's crew did the job right. If it was something we had a question about, Frank to the time to answer it. Frank and his crew made sure to to put everything back they way it was before they came out. He even told us that he was going to come back out in a few months to make sure things are going well with the deck he bulit for us. Frank is good guy. If we ever need any deck or fence work done, we are going to call Frank and the guys on DeckPro !!! I would recomend DeckPro to anyone needing this kind of work done !!!!!

The process was straighforward and simple. Frank came out on Friday and gave us a quote, that we accepted. They required a $1 down at signing and about half when the materials arrived. He provided the material needed to get our HOA approval. I was lucky to get it approved over the weekend. I called Monday and they did the work Tuesday & Wenesday. They were efficient, professional and created a stairway that matched perfectly to the existing deck. Actually the steps are constructed better than my deck. Highly recommend them. Plan on using again in the future.

The project went well. They worked very hard. There were a few bumps along the way, as I would expect with any project, but Frank corrected every issue to my satisfaction. It was clear that he wanted me to be pleased, and I consider that to be the most important factor in selecting a contractor. The quality of their work speaks for itself.
